The girls figured to leave the things inside the northroom alone, not worthwhile to try at the moment.
Going past the the dark hallways to the west, and then up, they found themselves in the empty room.
Eline took a short break again, still mumbling and cursing about.. Though bit less than before.
Afterwards they headed to the northern room.
Eline warned 569 about the traps near the door way, and the girls carefully walked to a safe spot in the room..
"lets see how this thing works."
Eline took out the scanner, fidling around with it, she noticed this thing hasn't been used in a while.. And to her disapointment, it seemed to have battery charge like all the other gadgets.
She tweaked about with it and puff! It was on!
The screen showed that it has 19/20 charges left. Only used once before!
Not bad.
With that Eline began to scan the room.. The scanner showed a lot of red "!" markings around the room.
"oh gosh thats a lot of traps"
"A few here and there, yeah"
With that, and some careful moves the girls got to the door with very little trouble. Well 569 atleast, Eline still had to go all super careful and took a while to get past.
Looking at the door here Eline noticed that it had nothing else than that card slot next to it. No other means to open this thing was visible here, just the slot that was pretty much ironed in.

"Well this is probably obvious"
Eline took out the ID card she had and inserted it into the slot. The slot seemed to pretty much eat up the card, it slided inside and vanished completely.
Few cracking sounds later, the door light went green and it opened right up.
There was a hallway ahead again.
This hallway was pretty dark, just like the other one before.. There was all sort of posters around the walls that had unknown language on them.
The hallway went darker and darker as they went through it. Luckily not pitch black dark though, but it did make it harder to see for the girls.
Eline felt like she stepped on something!
"oh hell."
But looking again, she noticed she almost stepped on something instead!
Her foot was almost on a button, right near its edge. This dark hallway seemed to be trapped aswell!
Very sucky combination to be dark and trapped.
569 felt something near her feet aswell.. A thin see through thread that slightly shined from the little light that 569's eyes emited. She packed up and stepped over it, making sure she did not activate whatever it could be..
"Even primitive traps too? Oh wow"
They weren't even half way past this dark hallway!
"hmm.. This is troublesome."
A) Just keep moving, but carefully..
B) Scan the hallway.
C) Gona need some light, have Eline use Light Up and/or 569 the flash light. Or Eline just to activate the night vision goggles and lead the way. Or any other light combination you can come up with with these items really.
D) B & C together.
E) Other?
