It's because Anise uses raw images for all the CGs rather than compressed files.

I've seen some ridiculously compressed files before (a full volume of manga under 50MB) compare to some of the huge RAWs I have seen (100 MB for a 26 page doujin)

Some game also use custom sounds instead of RPGMaker ones, so those take up more spaces as well.

About that, probably you downloaded the .rar file I uploaded into rapidshare the 1st time. I had to re-upload the file a 2nd time, because there was an error with the audio files compilation (that's why the names were all in giberish).

Try to download the game again and see if it works. This goes for anyone having problems with audio files

Hmmmm, now that's odd. I never had an error about graphic files before :eek:

Though I have a question as well as a suggestion.

Did you have you local setting in japanese when you DOWNLOAD and UNZIPPED/UNRARED the game? That could be the reason.
My suggestion is to redownload the game under japanese local settings and try again.

Hey.. Need help. I'm stuck in the city where you attempt to release and get the Ice/Water spirit onto your side. I have completed the city and I do not know how to continue..

Everytime I try to go into the house at the north western end of town, I got a GO scene and my character wakes up in the inn.. Any help for getting past this?

Hrm. I'm having the same problem as Serifyn. And yeah, my system was (still is) set for japanese locale and the game was downloaded/unzipped that way, too.

Will check a few things first and see if I can find a solution.

Same here. After completing the water dungeon (3rd dungeon), I can no longer go into the Mayor's house. Any attempt to enter results in a gameover scene. It seems that the game is convinced that I have somehow borrowed money from someone, and now my character is sold off as merchandise. I am starting to think that it's a glitch.

Edit: Looks like the cutscene for the underground casino changes after beating the dungeon, and the cutscene that I am getting right now whenever I try to enter the Mayor's house is identical to that. Moreover, when you try to leave town, the wave sounds keep on looping in the background even though you are no longer near the sea. So most likely it is a glitch.

Ok, so i have been playing

for awhile now and i have made it to the city with the brothel and casino, trouble is i have no idea how to move forward now, when i got to the temple in the north it show's the main girl talking to the cat and then the blue hiar'd girl sais something and thats it. Nevermind, just had to talk to the old guy in the big house again and talk to the chick in the church. And now im stuck again, this time it's after i beat the boss in the water temple, got out and now the whole city has water flowing to it. the only place i havent been is the very first town's cave that is being gaurded by the cloaked guy and he still wont move.

wish this game had an cg room... did the 3 ends and expecting have CG room from happy or true ending but got nothing :( especially on happy ending that you need to have the H counter 0.

there is a CG room, well atleast for me, go to any inn and to the left of the person you talk to to sleep there should be a book use that and you will be teleported to the cg room.

So, I downloaded the game, and I don't seem to have a data or image folder, only a data and image .rpack file. What is this and can I unpack them? Or do I need to re-download the game?

it is the way it should be. And I don't think there's is an unpacker for these files

you didn't search here, did you? There is a separate topic for this game. And I already posted there that "the usual /x3 gives a big list including the hook for text"

I'm using /x3 /v , and I still get no text. I can't find any error, maybe someone can help me with that.
Currently, it looks like this:
"C:\Users\Justaname\Desktop\H5\bla\blahh\Translation\Translation Aggregator 0.4.9.r171\agth.exe" /c /v /pngame.exe /x3 /v

And yes, I'm using the japanese Unicode.

uhm, /x3 should go before the path to the game (assuming that by "/pngame.exe" you meant the path to the game

oh yeah you are right still i wish after doing the 3 endings could make all the cgs available oh well anyone got a full cg save?
