I don't know if it might help or not, but your might want to check out freesound.org I'm pretty sure you'll find some neat stuff there. And its free.

There's a reasonable community producing these kinds of things here:

That said, they frown upon downloading these files, and you'd certainly get in trouble for reusing their audio files in some project without their permission - and I'm not sure many there would give it.

Still, it's a good place to get your audio-based tickles, if you're looking for that.
