yeah, i also purchased, i was shocked such a stupic anti gaijin barrier, you cant even use ctrl c+v on japanese input there
you can use a virtual keyboard, change to japanese region, and you can input in hiragana or katakana you name at start to play it.

here, check if save data may let you skip the barrier, i tested new game and no problem after input a name in japanese.. soo you can just start new game.

mmm i am quite stuck after the city with the arena.. seems send me to forest. but i cannot enter the ruins or bypass the east checkpoint ..... seriously confused...

same. ive redoing dungoens and found 2 new rings but still cannot advance... ive tried costumes and weapons in different ways but still... i went to visit every part. and discover minor talks but nothing else...
