I tried the patch and did exactly what the instructions said to do, but the game still played in Japanese.

Did you rename the rgssa file (the original one that you decrypted)? I usually just rename it to oldgame.rgssa3, patch won't work if you leave it with its original name (that's the case for all rpg maker games I patched).

The patch is only a partial translation - meaning menu / skill / item.
All the in game text is still in japanese.

If you still got the translated stuff in japanese, then you missed a step in aplying the patch. Maybe check the instruction step by step and retry from a clean version ?

There no full guide on the thread from memory, but there bit and bit here and there of wlakthrough that should cover about 80%+ of the game.

Try poking around the thread.

Apparently not. The post content is just the circle working on it. The new game will supposedly have a male MC and apparently a plot that doesn't involve erotic scenarios (e.g Cistina having to bear a child)

Partials are UI translations. It Translates the Menu, Skills, Items, and Combat making it easier when using a Machine Translation program like VNR or Translator Aggregator. It does not translate the Story of the game, nor NPC conversations.

As yugifan3 said, partial is the common term for "partial translation".

I guess most link of the game are so old now that they don't work. Plus I'm not certain it's alright to share a link here since there a few loli scene in it.

And maybe it should be better to start a new thread to discuss the futur game than keep upping this one with info related to the new game and not the one indicated in the title.

Does anyone have a copy of version 10? Apparently it fixes the fps lag/jerkiness of the game.
