I don't get it i patched the game with ea2updater and later with the eng trans patch and well my game runs great but its not translated did i forget to do something ? i tryed to run it as administrator but all it does is add the (Data.wolf~) map

It's not 100% translated. Most of the story is not translated.

So I've been trying to get this to work for a while now, but I keep hitting a road block. I've downloaded all 7 core files, but it says it cant read them, and when I forced it to open with 7zip it was only able to open the first file and not the rest. it kept saying each was the file type of its number.(as in Ecchiadventure.001 instead of Ecchiadventure001.zip)

I've also tried using the torrent and the EA updater, but when i try to use the eng patch in this thread it just shows a green box and crashes. could i get some help please?

i know its not 100% but my game is 0% menu is in japanese every thing is in japanese dono why
can some one explain step by step what to do maybe i forgot something

I had the same problem. So I just found a torrent for it and DLed the torrent. According to MyRubbish2001, "try using 7z"

Steps I took:

1. Extract into a folder the "core" files (the main v1.00 files)
2. move the ea_updater2.exe into the same file and run it
3. run the .exe translation-patch

so are you saying DL the torrent and use 7zip on it?

since i seem to be having the same problems you had could you tell me what you did to get around it? thanks

well did all that and when i run the translation patch i get this in the info
(This utility will extract & patch the game "Inran Yuusha Save no RPG ~ Sekai wo Sukuu Ecchi-na Bouken" to version 1.05. It is NOT a translation (at this point in time) and the game will still be in Japanese.)

And no this is not from the ea_updater2 its form the EcchiAdventure_ENG_patch_v001 from this post and i dowloaded the game from the torrent that is provided in the first post i don't get it did i download the wrong patcher ?

And sry if i am annoying any one but i don't get it why this is not working

nvm, I figured out that the thorn in my ass was Norton. it blocked some of the files when it updated and thats what kept it from translating and patching. thanks anyways guys.

Anyone else who tries this should also check to see if their anti-virus stuff blocks files from the patchers as well

For everyone having trouble with patching the partial english translation, I can think of two issues.

1. You dl'ed the torrent posted on the first page. The english translation patch seems not to work with that torrent. You must find an alternative dl. Luckily for you, you're already in this thread. Search around.

2. Your antivirus is blocking the exe file (arcconverter or something like that). If it's Norton, you will get a little popup in the bottom right telling you something was blocked/removed/quarantined. Click options and choose "Restore file and exclude from future scans."

There's been another patch released on the support blog, if anyone's interested.

I'm not sure how well the current translation plays with it. Apparently there's another scene, and more bug fixes. And, it's pretty hefty @ 600 MB.

Anyway, since it's been ages since I played this game I might give it another go. Looking at the omake I had, it seems I didn't even get all the CGs!

Mind providing a link to the blog ? Either I am being particularly inattentive today, or I just couldn't find it in the 3 pages of this thread.

I still have the previous version of the translation it seems, and would like to get the newest one.

Umm, I should clarify, the new thing that came out is an update to the game, not to the translation.

Anyway, it's not just one extra scene, there's a few, so I think it's a worthwhile download. I'm pretty sure you can't use the English Translation patch with it until it's updated again.

As for me, I'm just playing it through again with agth + ta.

Norton instantly flagged and remove arc_conv.exe after running the patch.

EDIT: Nevermind, I see the post explaining it a bit. What exactly is it though? :)
