Sakura Dungeon

Re: Sakura Dungeon

I feel like I'm missing a ton of cg events even though I done everything I think I can. Almost at the end too.

3rd row 1st
11th row first
12th row 1, 2, 3
13th row 4-5
15th row 1, 2

3rd row 1st is beating the monk in the Zen garden.
11th row 1st is on floor 16 after turning in the dragon gem and entering the room again to play with the servants.
12th 1,2,3 are all the abyssal goat orgy on floor 21 west door, there should be an exclamation point in one of the rooms after you caught an abyssal goat.
13th 4-5, are the abyss shard you find on the 1st floor of the abyss, go to town and in the walk around option you use the shard and unlock a costume for the fox.
15th row 1 is the shopkeeper and tailor kissing, randomly got it when visiting the shop and the shopkeeper wasn't there.
15th row 2 is the desert dimension boss when you visit her a 2nd time, east side of floor 21, center building.

Re: Sakura Dungeon

Damn i am missing 1 shard to complete the luckystatue and i can't find it.
No idea which one i am missing either.
Does anyone have a list of locations?

Re: Sakura Dungeon

I already got the servant one on 16, in the last row. is there another one?

there must be some other trigger to the desert guardian because she doesn't do anything when I go in there again

No idea about the trigger, I went back in after winning and got the scene.

If this is the one you're talking about, this is 15-1 for me.

Which statues piece #s do you have?

Re: Sakura Dungeon

If the files aren't encrypted, then it would be fairly easy to mod combat or experience gain, but after a few minutes of digging I couldn't find any script that references the RPG aspect of the game. Perhaps someone more experienced will have better luck?

RANDOM TIPS AND TRICKS (and how2cheat if you're so inclined ._.)
Damage = base Power + User ?1? + (User LV - Target LV) * ? - Target VIT - Target ?2?
Accuracy (%) = base Hit + User DEX * 5 + (User LV - Target LV) * ? - Target DEX * 3 - Target AP * ?3?

The level bonus mod is unknown, but it's not insurmountable. You have a more than reasonable chance of taking down opponents several levels above you on Normal.
?1? = STR if Melee skill, DEX if Ranged skill, MNT if Magic skill, RES if Poison skill
?2? = STR if Physical skill, RES if Magic or Poison skill
?3? = 1.25 if Physical and target has Parry, 1.5 if Physical and target has Floating, 1.25 if Ranged/Magic and target has S-Field, 1.5 if Magic and target has D-Field

Damage is further reduced by resistances after calculations above.
Accuracy is further modded by Flow/Panic (Flow grants +25% accuracy and evasion, Panic is the reverse; they can stack, meaning user Flow and target Panic = +50%)

The basic strategy for most tougher encounters is to keep your own AP high while using your highest accuracy skill. If the opponent dodges, she loses 5 AP. If not, you hit her and gain 1CP, while still damaging her AP. This way, you can slowly burn her AP away until she attacks with her harder-hitting skills.

Once her AP is low (ideally <20), then you can reliably hit her with your weak skills to charge your own CP for Flow or risk a more powerful skill to burn VP quicker. If your opponent enters Flow, then it's Guard and pray with most units. Sylvi, since she has Recovery, can basically spam Shot non-stop without burning through her AP. The other units can alternate between Guard and basic skills. If your opponent ends up with really low AP, don't rush to go all-in unless you're going for the kill.

The most important thing in most fights is to avoid getting critted into oblivion with low AP, since it subtracts from your CP and gives your opponent +2CP, in addition to taking massive damage and often getting your clothes Torn. This is why high AP is important.

For those complaining about the grindy nature of the game, try the following:
1. Go into preferences and set S/down arrow to turn around rather than move backwards.
2. Find a nice long corridor.
3. Press 2 or PgUp to auto-move until you hit the end of it. Press S/down arrow to turn around.
4. Whenever you enter a battle, immediately press S (skip mode) and then A (auto battle).
5. Repeat steps 3 and 4 until satisfied. A good benchmark for most bosses is to make sure your units are at the same level as the highest level normal encounter.

HOW2CHEAT:
Using Cheat Engine to change your mana shard count (money) is easy. Save first. Open your menu and have at least one item in your inventory to update the display with. Make sure you have at least >100 mana shards, ideally >1000, (or else you'll get too many results) and run an exact search with default settings. Add everything you see to the address list. Change half the values and then hover your mouse over an item to check if your shard count changed. If it did, delete all other addresses and repeat. If not, change all the values back and delete those addresses. Keep going until you find the right address, then change it to whatever you want.

I wouldn't mind a statue list. Missing a lot. 3-6.

Which statues piece #s do you have?

the 11-1 servant one. I got the first scene with her servants when I went back in and talked to them, is there more you can do?

ah I see it's party member specific. got it

Re: Sakura Dungeon

Well I've been getting statues.

Ugh forgot where I got the 3rd one, but the 4th one is in the room with the annoying pitfalls in the bottom right area, and the 5th one is in the top right of the room before you fight the nine-tails boss.

Edit: Alright, got the statues now. I'm still missing CG after unlocking the innkeeper x storekeeper cg. Seems like early ones too.

3-4 and 5
4-2 and 3
6-4 and 5
7-3 and 4
12-4

Edit again: only missing 4-2, 4-3. Which, according to E-hentai, has something to do with the Tribeswoman.

Re: Sakura Dungeon

Decompiled the archive and files within. Poking around.

Each unit starts with a random CP value ranging from 1 ~ 1+MNT.
Each unit gains VP equal to her RES at the beginning of her turn. Torn cuts this in half. Stacking Torn does nothing.
Each unit gains 1/5 her max AP at the beginning of her turn. Recovery adds AGI + 5 to this.

Units with less than 5 AP cannot dodge and will always get hit. Units with Reflexes can dodge until 0 AP.

Difficulty mods hit rate, critical rate, and damage of both allies and enemies. Play on harder difficulties at your own risk.

Escape:
escape_rate = 50 + int(battleturn/2)+active_actor.ap+active_actor.level*5 - max([x.ap+x.level*5 for x in enemy])

in other words... 50 + 1 every other turn + user AP + user LV * 5 - max(enemy AP + enemy LV * 5)

That last part means every enemy has (AP + LV * 5) calculated, but only the highest value among them is used.
Sneaking boosts escape rate by a flat 20%, but only if the unit with the ability is attempting to escape.
Turn order:
Everyone starts with a random (hidden) initiative value from 10~20 - unit AGI. The unit with the lowest initiative value takes her turn.

For party members, every time a unit takes her turn, her initiative is increased by 15 - AGI + skill AP cost / 5
For enemies, it's the same except they get an additional initiative decrease equal to the difference between average party level and the enemy unit's level. The absolute lowest initiative boost they can get is 6.
Damage:
Skills have a type (Melee, Ranged, Magic, or Poison) and an attribute (Physical, Poison, or one of the five elements including Astral).

Damage = (skill base power + user type mod + user attribute mod - target defense) * level mod

Melee skills are boosted by STR, Ranged skills by DEX, Magic skills by MNT, and Poison by RES.
Physical skills are boosted by STR, Poison by RES, and the elements by MNT.
Physical skills are defended against by VIT and STR, and everything else by VIT and RES.

The level mod is slightly complicated. I'll just post the raw data here. Self = target.

if self.level<=10:
damage = damage*(1.0+user.level*0.04-self.level*0.06)
elif self.level<=30:
damage = damage*(.9+user.level*0.04-self.level*0.05)
else:
damage = damage*(.6+user.level*0.04-self.level*0.04)
Accuracy:
hitrate = user.skill.hit + user.dex*5 + user.level*5 - target.ap - target.dex*3 - target.level*5

You have 5% lower accuracy on higher difficulties, while your enemies gain 5%.
Flow and Panic work as intended (+/-25% depending on who has it, stackable).
Paralyze subtracts a flat 50% if your attack type is melee or ranged.
All abilities work as intended. See previous post. (Parry = target AP * 1.25 if Melee, etc.)
If you attack someone with Floating and your unit also has Floating, the accuracy drop is negated.
Acrobat adds 3% evasion per CP.
Critical:
criticalrate = hitrate - user.skill.hit + user.skill.critical

Grappler, Hunter, and Conjurer add 3% critical per CP for their Melee, Ranged, and Magic, respectively.
Exp Gain:
Basically, it scales depending on level difference and also scales depending on how high user LV is, so you level progressively slower even though enemies' levels don't scale the same way yours do.

4-2, 4-3 are from the tribeswoman fight on floor 9. I think you had to break a wall to find the path on the east side of the map to find the staircase.

Re: Sakura Dungeon

Ignoring my lack of CGs for now. I have Luck Shards 1,2,3,4,5. Missing the 6th it would seem, wondering if anyone can give me a leg up as to where it is hiding.

And as far as a comparison to Raidy I find this game far less of a hassle thanks to Victory Scenes and not Game Over ones.

Level 21, top left of the map (Pyramid Apex, can go straight there through the teleporter).

Re: Sakura Dungeon

Thanks. My CG is now complete.

Re: Sakura Dungeon

i love ULMF: without it, i wouldn't never have found this gem of a game! <3

Re: Sakura Dungeon

I think a different file determines what CGs are unlocked. I'll see if I can find out which one.
