Mana nods, leading Anna and Sarah into the dining room. There are many tables, of different shapes and sizes, and Mana shows them up to the front, where there's a sort of buffet type thing, though the food is simple, it looks quite good and tasty. The girls gather some plats as Mana leads them to a table, where a few other maids are also sitting, one of them wearing a collar, but the normal maid outfit. And Sarah notices there appear to be rope marks on her.

Sarah tried not to stare at the maid with the rope marks, but they made her even more uneasy. Mana was apparently telling the truth about this slaver's proclivity for bondage. Or maybe this made had been punished. Sarah was certainly hungry considering how long it had been since she had eaten, but nevertheless she decided that a light meal was best. If her stomach was already feeling unsteady... well, it wouldn't do to throw up in front of the slaver.

Once they are seated, she resumes her questioning of Mana. Now she keeps her voice down so that not too many of the others can hear. "The, ah, one with the collar and marks. Was she... punished?"

Mana gives a quick nod to Sarah, whispering back. "But is is rude to ask me, you should ask her yourself, it would not be rude, considering you are new."

Sarah notices that the maid with rope marks has noticed her staring at least a little, as she tries to hide her face, blushing a little.

Sarah carefully avoided looking at the other new slave for the moment.

"Ah, I just meant if that sort of thing was done as a punishment, or what. What can one do to earn punishment? In general, I mean."

Mana gives a little bit of a chuckle. "Why, do you want to earn a punishment?" She teases. "Yes, he might do that as a punishment, but he might also do it just because he wants to. Punishments can easily be earned if you disobey him, especially if you refuse him something. Though he will be understanding and listening to your reasoning, it could be worse if he finds your reasons unacceptable."

"Is there anything else I should know about him? Anything he really likes, or doesn't like?"

Sarah glances briefly at Anna again. The elf girl has been pretty silent through all this, which might be a good sign, or a bad one. She also glances at the doors. She hasn't seen any obvious security measures yet, but actually asking about that would be a delicate operation at best.

"Well, I've already mentioned he likes to tie us up...and he very much enjoys humiliating us. He will enjoy a bit of resistance, as long as he can tell you're faking it for his enjoyment... he doesn't like it when you don't listen to him, or end up hurting yourself because of it...that is why it's generally best to listen to him. He doesn't want us injured..."

Sarah thinks about that for a moment as she finishes her meal. Now that there's one less thing between her and what is to come, she looks visibly nervous, though not actually frightened. Her hand reaches up and tugs on the collar around her neck, though it isn't actually uncomfortable.

"I can't think of anything else to ask. Did I miss anything? Or do you have any questions of your own, Anna?"

Anna shakes her head. "No, I don't think I have any questions. I feel...a little less scared though..."

Mana nods at the two as they finish their meal, which while simple, wasn't bad. "Then you should should probably proceed to his chambers, I will escort you there. It is likely he will want to use both of you tonight, though it is possible he may not."

Sarah nods understanding, and follows Mana towards the chambers. As they reach the chambers she takes Anna's hand, as much to help calm herself as to give comfort to the elf. Before actually entering the chamber she stops, and finally decides to ask one final question. 'Has anyone ever tried to run away?"

"...Yes, some have tried...though... this mansion is far from anywhere...even if you escape, you won't far, there's nowhere to go. And I hear there's traps in the woods. Overall, most of us decide it's best to stay, as the Master does promise to release us all at some point, after we can prove to him we've learned something while here."

Anna seems a little comforted by Sarah holding her hand, giving a small smile.

Sarah considers that "until we learn something" could mean just about anything. Somehow she got a feeling that a bigger "something" would be needed for those the man favored. All the more reason not to be one of his favorites, if possible.

As ready as she was ever going to be, she followed Mana into the chambers.

Mana leads the two into the bed chamber of the Master. Sarah and Anna's eyes both immediately fall upon the large four poster bed. It looks incredibly comfortable and soft, though Sarah notes that the four posts are probably most often used as a place to tie the Master's sleeping companion. Aside from that, there's other furniture in the room, a few chairs, a couch, a desk, a bookcase, a closest, a fireplace. Nothing though sticks on in Sarah's mind.

With nothing else of particular interest in the room, Sarah goes over to the bed and presses a hand down on it, seeing if it's really as comfortable as it looks. She also notices that, unsurprisingly, this room has seen the attentions of a maid. Or more likely, a few dozen.

"Well... I guess this is it, then?"

The bed does in fact, feel as comfy as it looks, as Mana leaves. "I would suggest sitting nicely or presenting yourself in a good manner for when the Master enters" She says as a last bit of advice, closing the doors as she leaves the two.

Anna thinks for a moment, deciding to sit in a kneeling position on the floor in front of the bed.

"Thank you for all your advice, I suppose I'll see you in the morning?"

Once the other maid leaves, Sarah settles down on her knees beside Anna. She supposes that if they're going to do this thing, then they might as well do it right. Then there was nothing for it but to wait.

Around a half an hour later, the doors open, and Sarah and Anna see the Master entering the room. He spots them, and then continues with what he was doing, not saying anything to the pair. Anna decides it's best to stay quiet until he speaks to him as he goes into the back, into a closest as he gets changed.

He comes out wearing simple sleepwear as he looks at the two, pondering what he would do with them. He stays quiet for a long while before finally saying something.

"Alright then you two. Stand up." He orders, Anna doing so immediately.

Sarah frowns as he goes out of sight, but 'keeping me waiting' was hardly a vice at all, compared to what he was about to do. When he came back in she avoided his gaze. When he stays silent for an unusually long time, she glances up, then looks back at the floor.

At his command she stands up, only a little less quickly then Anna, and raises her gaze a little, though she still finds it difficult to look him in the eyes.

He has a small smile on his face, nodding as the two stand, looking over them, ordering them both to take a step forward and slowly spin around for them. Anna does so, trying to match Sarah if Sarah complies. He gives them both a quick nod as they complete.

"Good. You two seem quite good, all told. I want you both to thank me for buying you." He says.

Anna hesitates a moment, but manages to squeak out a "Thank you, Master. Thank you for purchasing me."

Sarah feels her cheeks flush as she steps forward to obey his command. She has to hope that it will be taken as a blush, rather then an expression of frustration or even anger. Asking them to spin around for him, as if... well, as if he owned them. The fact that he legally did didn't make it any better.

Still, she doesn't want to be punished for failing to obey petty commands. She has to unclench her teeth to answer, and waits until Anna is done first, but she does thank him with some small honesty. After all, she does know how much worse it could be. "Thank you, master."
