Scourge of the Silver Marches

Re: Scourge of the Silver Marches

Malacet picks up the red robe from before, examining it more closely to see if she can find anything related to its function on it.

Re: Scourge of the Silver Marches

The fabric of the red robe is light and flowing, a ruby is set at the collar, and reaches about halfway between Malacets ankles and knees. Tods identification of it reveals that it provides many useful enhancements to the wearer, including magical resistance to certain elements, as well as functioning like magic armor. (+2 armor bonus, fire resistance 10 and acid resistance 10)

One of the wands summons an ally, while the other is a useful destructive spell, but both have been used heavily, and have few charges remaining. (Summon Creature 4 and Fireball, 11 charges each.)

The blue robe reveals that it has similar enchantments as the red one, but for different forms of destructive magic. (+2 armor bonus, cold resistance 10 and electricity resistance 10)

The black robe gives the wearer similar magical protection, but also grants the user the ability to become invisible on command. (+2 armor bonus, +2 resistance bonus to saving throws, Invisibility as the spell, once per day, caster level 9)

The belt gives the wearer a minor bonus to their agility. (+2 Dexterity)

Re: Scourge of the Silver Marches

Carella takes the black robe and the ring of resistance, looking around, "Does anyone have any objections...?"

Re: Scourge of the Silver Marches

No, and unless anyone objects I'll take the blue robe and the defense ring. Grant says.

Re: Scourge of the Silver Marches

(The Black Robe and Ring won't stack on saving throws. You'll still only get +2
Resistance Bonus:
A resistance bonus affects saving throws, providing extra protection against harm. Multiple resistance bonuses on the same character or object do not stack. Only the highest resistance bonus applies. )

Re: Scourge of the Silver Marches

Realizes that both items wouldn't give her a stacked bonus and points to the belt, "Actually... I might take that instead of ring..."

Re: Scourge of the Silver Marches

Holi looks at the chain shirt, "Bah, kind of flimsy ain't it. Still may be worth something though."

After looking at the chain shirt he looks at the daggers and the short sword. "Kind of weird that with all this stuff there's just a plain short sword amongst it all."

"Nothing I'm really interested in so you can save your spells for anything else we might come across for now. I kind of wish we'd killed that vampire. Makes me a little nervous knowing it's still out there. Oh well anything else to check out before we move on he says taking a last look around the room.

(appraise checks on the metal items, just because I want something to do while the others haggle over the stuff.)

Re: Scourge of the Silver Marches

"I'll take the resistance ring and the red robe, unless any of you have a problem with that?" Tod pipes up, then goes over to Holi and the chain shirt. "I could identify that for you if you wanted to wear it..."

Re: Scourge of the Silver Marches

Malacet looks at the red robe once more before handing it over to Tod. "It doesn't help me too much in any case. I would appreciate the resistance ring and maybe a rod though."

Re: Scourge of the Silver Marches

"I won't be contesting you for the ring then, and whichever wand you take, I'd like the other." Tod offers.

(Trying to make it so that each PC gets 2 magic items... ^^; )

Re: Scourge of the Silver Marches

"In that case, I'd rather take the Summoning wand, as I can already burn things myself." She says simply, reaching out and taking the wand mentioned, then putting it under the folds of her robes and places the ring on her finger.

Re: Scourge of the Silver Marches

"Nah, not really my type of armor. So don't worry about it for now if you still have spells left when we make camp then you can get the leftovers. Wouldn't want ya to run out in case we run into something else." Holi says answering Tod's question about the chain shirt.

Re: Scourge of the Silver Marches

Malacet's attention was drawn over to Holi and the chain shirt debate. "Oh, I had forgotten about that. Would you mind checking? I might be able to use it."

Re: Scourge of the Silver Marches

Tod sighs and identifies the chain shirt as well, delving into his lvl 2 spell slots.

Re: Scourge of the Silver Marches

It's a +2 chain shirt.

Re: Scourge of the Silver Marches

"Well that I can use." Malacet says simply, taking it in her hands before stopping suddenly.

I have tro take off my robes to change into this...

Thinking quickly, She simply moves off into a corner and casts a darkness spell around herself, leaving it there until she finishes changing.

((Anybody going to dispel that? ;). ))

Re: Scourge of the Silver Marches

Tod changes into his red robe rather shamelessly, since all he had to do was put it on over his current outfit. It may have been a bit warmer, but hey, he had fire resistance now, so warmth wouldn't bother him. :p

Re: Scourge of the Silver Marches

Holi starts singing a funny song about having to eat your way out of the tarrasque before suddenly stopping. "So is everyone ready to continue on then."

Re: Scourge of the Silver Marches

Eh, Basically. Granth says as he pulls on the blue robe and places the protection ring on his fingers.

Re: Scourge of the Silver Marches

The sphere of darkness in the corner disappears to reaveal Malacet looking the same as before, hooded cloak and all, but the chain shirt she's holding onto seems different, not as well-made. "I'm prepared." She says simply, and follows the others whenever they leave.
