RPG [seldompie] Mutant Minx Meltdown - Rise of the Monstergirls!

Found this in a link off the blog for the guy making Corruption of CHampions. It's a text based game by a different maker, in which you're a lone guy trying to survive some kind of infection that's turned all the girls in the area into raving sluts. And rapists. There's a day count, and after a few days, some of the girls turn into monstergirls. It's still an early build yet, but I thought a thread to raise awareness might help encourage the guy making it, as well as a place to keep track of updates. I know I'm going to.

He's got versions for Windows, Linux, and Mac, so that's cool.

I've played a bit of it, and the writing's not bad. Considering how early in development it is, there's still a decent amount of stuff to do.

I played it from the link of Fen's blog, it's pretty damn solid. It's a lot like the conceptual beginnings fore Nuku's Flexible Survival, but with less furries, and more college girls and highschool stereotypes. Stereotypes that evolve into sometimes mildly disturbing yet moderately arousing creatures of the flesh.

It's got a lot of femdom type stuff if you're into that kind of thing, but it's vague enough to be attractive to both sides of the spectrum in my opinion. At the moment there's no "Rape Back" kind of thing, but it does look like the author is setting up for alternate endings depending on what quests you go through with.

The endings at the moment are nearly non-existent, but the concept is all there, and there's already a lot of content. If this is regularly updated it could develop quite a fan base imo.

Text isn't exactly heavy on the file size, especially in comparison to audio.

seeing games like this with no pictures or more importantly animated scenes is just depressing. lol

i dont think games like monster girls quests 1 and 2 will ever be equaled or surpassed.

The author needs to add more cash drops to this. If you want to last longer you need 500$ just for the infection injection.

I think I got an event in the area outside of the Pharmacy that gives you £300. Got it twice in a row, so it seems to be repeatable.

Likewise, in the same area or the one afterwards, an office worker gives you £1000 to save him from his secretary, if you didn't find that yet.

you know, if you have enough food, you don't HAVE to leave the hotel every day....

also, the idea is to avoid infection in the first place, with the injections being a bit of a safety net. You're not supposed to go whoring it up, then pop meds like Tic-tacs.

I got tons of cash, never found the pharmacy.. could you please tell me where is it located?

Game is quite nice, varied enemies, vanilla and fetish content, lots of items and areas to explore for a game in such short development time...

Well, the description for the game is a text-based porn parody of a cheesy 80's B-Movie horror noir zombie apocalypse with sex instead of Braaaiiiinnnss....

But it doesn't really feel like it.

You're kinda missing the point then.
Lust betrayal is a sort of sub-genre and game mechanic in which you know that giving into your desires will have bad consequences, and that's part of the thrill.

Sorry, guess I just figured it was like that other monster girl game that I played way back in the day where everything with combat was sex related. Guess I'll just have to shut up and actually try it out instead.

Well, these games are free of charge and as far as I understand this particular game is the first game of its creator. Give it some time, since the setting and potential may yet turn it into something great.

Text based games are really cool in their own way. For those who want parts of it to be left to the imagination, a really different world can emerge for different people. I would rather a well done text game with vivid descriptions and lots of choices, than a cheap H game with static images and a linear path.
