Discussion Sex MUGEN 2.0 General Discussion Thread


I really want to learn spriting, and maybe even coding one day. Just lack the motivation to get into it, I've got plenty of time honestly. Mainly just so that i can make new sprites and eventually animations for my favorite mugen characters. If i felt what i could produce was good enough, I'd likely share it as well. But well, that's a distant dream as of right now. We'll see i guess.

Definitely know the feeling and am right there with you. Been wanting to deepen my knowledge of coding for awhile, and have always wanted to learn some pixel related art, just haven't had the motivation to really delve into either as of yet, complacency is deadly to ones dreams. Either way, have to say I'm just glad to see that there is some real life being breathed into the MUGEN community as of this past year or so.
 
This is the first sexmugen argument that I've seen get resolved nicely. And I've been around for a very long time. 10/10

Don't know or really care if he's on here as well, but there's this user "anthimus" uploading a lot of whatever on mugenarchive, and it's pretty annoying, imo. It's stuff that is already there, with little to no explanation if anything actually is new. He doesn't credit the creators of the uploads either so, yeah.

Yeah, he pisses the hell out of me too. It's not only a ton of spam with no changes OR descriptions, but as you said, he's basically plagiarizing everyone else's work. To make matters worse, he gets a ton of positive comments and likes from ignorant people who think those characters are his own, and he's quite active in defending his work on the comments section.

If you see any dislikes on his characters, that's me, lol.

Yeah, exactly. It's cluttering the site and people continue being ignorant, even though he makes poor effort of defending his case.

And yeah, you aren't the only one, haha. I make sure to dislike anything he's posted and commented.
 
Yeah, it's whatever. I rarely download anything from mugenarchive anymore, since Gettag has his own site, and the only other decent modder is moko_moko there.

Also, new mizoguchi raper on the uploader. Same password (ryona2) as always. The actual file is also password protected, but check the readme--the password is the final line of the readme.
