What's new

RPG Patreon Active RPG Maker [Sierra Lee] The Last Sovereign [Updated 3/21: 200+ ILLUSTRATED SCENES!]

This update is still in beta; see the blog post for more information:

I'm always updating supporters on Patreon, but I didn't want to leave everyone else following the game in the dark for so long, so I have made a Patreon post public:

More information (and fanart!) at the link, but basically I think it would be fastest and best for the game overall if I did one bigger update instead of two smaller ones. Please look forward to it!

The link is a bit screwed up. It reads like it links to Patreon, but the actual link goes to your blog, but at the same time seems to be linking to your post like you are trying to edit it? So it wants me to sign in if I click the link, where as if I just use your normal blog link in your signature I can go there normally and see the latest post.

What the heck, forum. The link was just plain text, which might have been the problem I suppose.

Fixed the link for you. I've seen that happen occasionally as well. No idea what the cause is.

The final battle update is now available for patrons!

I don't want to share too much from this update, so here's a screenshot from very early on:

It's a reasonably hefty update, with all kinds of challenges including dungeons:

But the meat of it is complex events deriving from all your choices up to this point:

And depending on how you play, you can hit strategic game overs, the first real ending of the game, or most likely:

Version 0.75.4 is public! Links and info here:

This was a major polish update, so instead of talking a lot, I'll just post this comparison:

New TLS update for patrons! Roadmap, more info, and links at the blog:

On November 22, 2014, I publicly released the first version of TLS, featuring the prologue. Now, exactly ten years later, I am posting the epilogue.

New TLS update for patrons! Roadmap, more info, and links at the blog:

This one is a fancy update focused on polishing the game, plus I'm bringing new features to Steam. Getting closer to release!

Newest update is public! Links and info here:

This update adds Steam achievements, trading cards, and other goodies, so Steam might actually be the appropriate link:

Enjoy. ^-^

Hey folks, two quick pieces of news! One is that Steam got a second update, resolving all known achievement bugs. The other is that I'm announcing my newest campaign to wrap up a side project:

More info on the blog:

Then again, is anyone still reading this? I'm stubborn about finishing things I start, but once TLS has been concluded I may stop updating this thread.

I'm still reading this! I'm most likely to catch updates from you here first because I'm on basically social media platforms besides this and a couple other forums.

I enjoyed playing the Don't Save the Princess demo back in the day, so I'm glad to hear about the upcoming Kickstarter campaign. Hopefully it goes well.

Also, I didn't say it earlier, but I'm super exited TLS is nearly done. It's been quite a while since I did a run, and as soon as my life settles a bit and I can commit more time to gaming, I'm looking forwards to actually completing the game. I've been obsessed with the game since I first played it years ago, and only haven't played it dozens of times because I don't want to play it so much that it looses the magic. The story and world you've built are one that have sucked me in and made me fall in love with the world and it's characters again and again.

I do notice that you like my posts, haha! I'm glad that you're excited for TLS - if you're wanting to do one big replay, I suggest waiting for version 1.0.0, since I will have finished all polishing by then. If you haven't played in a while, you'd notice a lot of improvements, but I have more in progress. ^-^
