Steel Sky (Adelle/Mind Flayer)

Re: Steel Sky (Adelle/Mind Flayer)

Remaining rather blank in expression, the large lady thing did not seem to acknowledge being talked to, looking rather fixated on the two with her gaze despite making no attempt to approach them more than a few steps. But there was a detectable tenseness about her, her feet especially showed signs of readiness, as if intent on leaping or similar.

Re: Steel Sky (Adelle/Mind Flayer)

"Um... I'm Adelle. There's no need to be scared, o-or angry with us," Adelle said to the big girl, steadying herself a bit as she stood there, not backing up, nor stepping forward. "O-Or any need to want to attack," she added.

"Suzanne... t-try and pry that thing loose and drain that water, I'll keep her distracted if she jumps at us," Adelle whispered to Suzanne, stepping to her right a bit to see if the big woman followed her.

Re: Steel Sky (Adelle/Mind Flayer)

While Adelle tried to reason with the large lady, she was met with the similar lack of response as before, but there was equally less in return as the opposite side only took a single slow step onward. Yet, the attention towards them did not cease as the gaze of the red eyes was relentless. "Really now? I'd rather not try as she is standing on it." the teacher pointed out the fact that the plexiglass was indeed directly below their possible adversary's feet at that time.

Re: Steel Sky (Adelle/Mind Flayer)

"It's why I said that I'd distract her," Adelle whispered back to Suzanne, a bit urgently.

Seeing the big woman stepping towards them one more step, Adelle gulped again and decided to take a step towards the woman, and then another step or two to the right, trying to get her to turn towards her. "S-So... I'm Adelle. What's your name hon? So what were you doing in that water? A-And were you by chance what that scientist guy created?" Adelle said to the woman, taking a another step or two towards the big woman, looking tense, but trying to remain calm, to keep the big woman calm.

Re: Steel Sky (Adelle/Mind Flayer)

"Well, if you insist. I'll see what I can do." Suzanne agreed, if a bit reluctantly, starting to shift herself slowly to the side so there might be some development in the situation.

As Adelle continued to speak, the steady silence and the gaze kept on coming towards them as the standstill went on. Initially the split caused something what looked like unease in the large ladything, and she started to scan both of them as they began to split apart from each other. But as the scientist was mentioned, the attention suddenly turned fully to Adelle as the she was met with widened eyes and a sudden aggressive step towards her, followed by another one in quick succession.

Re: Steel Sky (Adelle/Mind Flayer)

Seeing the large woman seeming to tense up as she split up a bit from Suzanne, Adelle spoke up to try and ease the woman's worries, until she mentioned the scientist that is. At that point, Adelle gulped slightly as the woman now appeared to start coming at her now, and she didn't look too happy it seemed, to Adelle. "W-Whoa now hon, d-did he do things to you, or hurt you? I-If so, then you don't have to worry about him, because he's long since dead and can't hurt you anymore," Adelle said, starting to take a step back, but after a moment deciding to stand her ground, a hand drifting towards her sword handle as she spoke to the woman again, trying to get through to her one last time before having to fight, because if she could avoid a fight, then she would try.

Re: Steel Sky (Adelle/Mind Flayer)

The large woman listened with an almost forceful focus on Adelle, but after all of it was said, she suddenly went completely uninterested as all the tension appeared to leave the situation. Not having anything to say still, her attention turned towards the pool, and she sat down on the edge, dipping her legs into the water as she started to gaze at the water with a deep look that suggested emptiness.

Re: Steel Sky (Adelle/Mind Flayer)

After speaking quickly to the woman, Adelle saw her anger bleed away, and she couldn't help but feel almost... sad for the girl as she walked over and sat on the edge of the pool and dangled her legs down into the water. Adelle looked over at Suzanne for a moment, and gave a sad look towards the girl, and nodded to Suzanne, as if silently telling her to give her a minute or two here with the big woman. Adelle walked softly over to the woman, her hands no longer on her weaponry, before sitting down next to the bigger woman.

"H-Hey, are you okay, miss? And, can you talk?" Adelle asked the big woman, looking up at her. "It'll be okay, you don't need him. I-If that's what's wrong that is," Adelle said, pulling her backpack around after that and rummaging around in it, looking for any snack type things she might have in there, specifically hoping that she had a chocolate bar of some sort still in there maybe from her trip to the grocery store the last time.

If she found a chocolate bar in there, she'd pull it out and unwrap one end of it and break off a piece, offering it to the large horned woman. "Here, you look sad, chocolate always cheers me up," Adelle would tell the woman as they sat there, assuming she found her candy bar.

Re: Steel Sky (Adelle/Mind Flayer)

"Yes... I can..." the large woman replied finally as she continued to stare at the slightly less murky pool that her rise to the surface had stirred. As odd as it was, her voice was almost on the level with Rachaela's, being similarly unnaturally young for the body it was coming from which was actually not the thing with Rachaela who it was entirely appropriate for. "He... said he'd give me a purpose... but if he's gone... what am I here for...?" they continued after a brief silence. "There is a world out there, he said... but... I don't know anything... or anyone... that's out there... he said we'd go there once he had trained me better..." they went on, looking awkwardly at the chocolate before somehow taking claim of it with a pinch grip of two metal clawfingers. Despite their size and metal construction, they appeared to be only a little less flexible than the average human finger. The candy appeared to be a slight comfort, but the empty looks into the water went on afterwards.

Re: Steel Sky (Adelle/Mind Flayer)

"Well, he sounded... actually kind of nice, if he promised you that he'd show you the world. And hey... you know me now. I can't not help you if you're in need, it's... just how I am. I'd be happy to help you, in any way I can. And maybe... I can help you find purpose. I won't claim to know what everyone's purpose in life is, I mean hell, I'm really still kinda trying to figure out what my purpose in life is. But that's why we live life, to figure those kinds of things out," Adelle told the large horned woman, breaking off another, larger piece of her candy bar and offering it over to the girl, while taking a smaller bite for herself. "What do you say? I don't mind you coming to my place for a while, or longer even, it's up to you, but the offer will always stand. I mean, my place might be a little cramped, but I got another bed that you can use, and it's pretty big and stuff. And besides, a pretty girl like you, there's no way I can just let you be out alone in the cold," she went on to say with a kind smile as she got up and turned to look at the large woman, offering a loving hand out to her.

Re: Steel Sky (Adelle/Mind Flayer)

"I'm not sure... about that... He did not really treat me bad... but he... trained me to fight... to take lives... with the utmost efficiency. He did not say what or who he wanted me to fight... but he did say it would come to light eventually..." the large female revealed the intended purpose she had been initially created for, a weapon basically. But why he had made his most destructive weapon in the form of a woman, one could only question. The rest of what Adelle had to say was paid attention to in quietness, but the idea of leaving the school for the rest of the world did appear to come as a welcome possibility for this artificial humanoid. "Alright then, I imagine there is little else for me... this place will probably never offer me anything anyways... being abandoned like this..." they eventually spoke up again, reaching for the connected pipe attached to her collar and tearing it clean off with basically no effort. The thing was not too thick, but it had some sort of orange-ish semi-liquid dripping out from it. "Nutrients... kept me alive... my metabolism is supposedly slow... but even I need to have something to sustain my body... in long times of stasis..."

By now Suzanne had drained the pool, the murky water leaving the pool and revealing that the lady had not been the only thing there. A weird metal contraption of large size was resting at the bottom, made of the black metal that everything in these experiments had been and mounting some rather bizarre things. The thing appeared to be some sort of battle platform, as it had mounted heavy-caliber guns of almost an almost artillery nature, the things mounted on top of two partially biological platforms that had armored shark heads mounted underneath. The whole mess appeared to be controlled by two control sticks mounted one the outer edges, making the whole thing look like a throne almost, yet not for sitting as the fit did not appear to allow even the apparent controller, the large lady, to sit on it. Instead, it looked as if she had been made to kneel in the middle and control the contraption. The shark heads soon turned to look at the girls, primarily focusing on the apparent controller. Even this bizarre mess appeared to be alive, even as it only had the shark heads that could really be called a living thing.

Re: Steel Sky (Adelle/Mind Flayer)

"Hmm... well, I did say "kind" of nice, not very nice or anything. And maybe we can find you something to fight then, w-well, other than the two of us. There's always a need to clear out pests and whatnot around the city, and the group I work with pays pretty well. The other creations of the scientist fellow that made you are roaming about the school, and I've been trying to just knock them out, because I try to keep from killing when I can," Adelle told the big girl, watching as she ripped the pipe connected to her off, and looking a bit amazed at her sheer strength, and also glad she hadn't tried to fight her. "And to be honest, we were here to check this place out and clean any potentially hostile creatures out of it, that might hurt people, because my companion there hired me, through the Hunter group I work with, to help her do so, so that she and her friends can make this school open for children to come to again and learn," she went on to say as the water was drained out of the pool, and she saw the... battle mech looking thing that was at the bottom.

"W-Whoa, that thing's crazy strong looking. I mean, you look incredibly strong, a-and I'm glad that you listened and didn't attack me, because I doubt I could have won," Adelle said as the shark headed contraption, looking curiously and quite eagerly at the heavy caliber guns on it. "Oh yeah, w-what should I call you, hon? Did he... you know, ever give you a name?" Adelle then asked curiously, glancing back over, and tearing her eyes away from the amazing and crazy looking weapon before her, feeling that the big woman was better to look at.

Re: Steel Sky (Adelle/Mind Flayer)

"They are... still here? I'll have to talk with them... So you can do away with this place... it needs to be something else now..." the large lady told Adelle at the mention of the other experiments, apparently having some sort of relationship with at least a few of the things. "No... he never did call me anything specific... just things like... princess... or by some specific code number and letter combination that I can't remember anymore..." they replied about the name before taking a sudden leap to the bottom of the 15-foot pool and taking position on the bizarre platform by kneeling in the middle. As she grabbed the controls, the familiar poof of the escaping gasses struggling to make the combination airborne. But it did rise eventually, coming off the bottom and soon landing onto the area near the pool's edge before the lady jumped off again. "Mako... Tiger... we are in a strange time now... How do you two feel about all of this... and what do you think about me going away... from all of this... we do not have a real purpose anymore... so what are you thinking about it all..." she started to talk to the shark heads, each of them responding to the called names by turning towards her when called.

Re: Steel Sky (Adelle/Mind Flayer)

"Aye they are still here for the most part. I had been knocking the octopi out earlier, but, something else killed them, and I don't know what it was. It's been worrying me quite a bit actually. The eels were being naughty and had to be knocked out too. Then there's the big crab in one of the rooms over there on the first floor, and this big manta ray on the second floor," Adelle told the big girl, remembering the octopi having been killed by something else. "And I see. Well... in that case. Let's see, how do you like... hmm... Rose, it's short and simple, and roses are pretty, like you are," Adelle said, offering a name to the big woman, though looking at the numbers and letters on the papers that they had taken from before, from the lab, just to see if she could come up with something else in case the woman didn't like Rose.

Adelle looked down into the pool where the woman had jumped down into it, and watched, sitting down and dangling her legs over the edge now some too. "Can they breathe alright without needing water? I would assume so, but figured I'd ask anyway just to be sure," Adelle asked curiously as the big woman spoke with the mech like contraption. "Also, I suppose I can keep them in my garage, if nothing else, though... it's starting to get pretty full now, so I hope they don't move around a whole lot," Adelle told the big girl after a few moments.

Re: Steel Sky (Adelle/Mind Flayer)

"What happened, happened... But I'll see the remaining ones... They'll pay attention to me... we all spend time with each other during the days past..." the lady promised to see the remaining sea animals, apparently having some way to communicate with them. "If you want to... I don't mind..." they went on a bit, not looking like they were entirely on board with the name but not saying anything against it either.

And almost as if to drive the point home about her ability, she continued to hear the sharks out, as they were now making odd noises of their own. "You want to be free?... That... you know what that means... right?" she asked them again, and the shark heads nodded in unison, looking like they were adding more depression onto this lady as she somehow got even more severe in the face. "I suppose... being trapped like that... as a mere head on a weapon platform... is no life for a proud predator of the sea to live in... If it is your wish... I'll give you the freedom you desire..." she spoke to them again as she moved to pat each of the heads before making it around the back off the platform and starting to tear away the metal plates and shortly the innards of the machine. It took a moment, but eventually the life began to leave the shark heads as the life supports for them were destroyed. Not content on leaving it there, she went full destruction mode on the rest of platform as well, making sure it would not be a functional weapon ever again. Only after everything was well and truly wrecked did she stop, seeing the shark heads for what would probably be the final time now that the two were in peace. "Ours was not the longest of times... but I'll keep you two in my memory... Mako... Tiger..."

Re: Steel Sky (Adelle/Mind Flayer)

Adelle watched and listened as Rose, unless she didn't like that name, spoke to the shark heads, and hearing them out, Adelle felt very sad for not just Rose, but the shark heads as well. As she dropped down into the pool, Adelle walked over to them as Rose began finishing up talking to them, knowing what they had just asked of the big lady, and Adelle sighed. Before Rose began tearing the thing apart, Adelle gently reached up to the shark heads and patted them on the head after Rose had. "I promise you both, I'll do everything in my power to help her and take care of her," Adelle told the shark heads, with a very serious and determined look in her eyes.

"Hey, are you okay hon?" Adelle asked Rose after she was done, reaching over and pulling her into a hug, trying to comfort her as best she could.

"I... could be better... that's for sure..." Rose replied as she was kinda hugged, the attempt mostly ending with Adelle's face in her breasts as the height difference was still there. It was probably a bit silly to look at, with them there at the bottom of pool. Suzanne was most certainly seeing it all happen, but she had not said anything about the entire series of events that had transpired, though she had been following the happenings from the edge of the pool.

Re: Steel Sky (Adelle/Mind Flayer)

Adelle, finding her face in Rose's breasts, couldn't help but smirk a bit at her own fortune with her face buried in Rose's huge bosoms, but she didn't remark on them or try and take advantage here. "Hey, you'll never forget them. You promised them that, so they'll always live on in your heart. And it was their decision in the end, to ask you what they had. I'll do my best to be there for you as much as I can okay. Come on, let's see if we can't get a smile on that pretty face of yours. Alright? Soon as we're done here, I'll take you back to my... our, place, so you'll know where it's at and stuff, and then I can take you to the guild hall to meet Samson and some of the others since I gotta head back there anyway with Suzanne. Samson can give you some work to do, if you like, to help you put your strengths to good use," Adelle told Rose, giving her a bit of a squeeze as she hugged her, before letting go and hopping back up to the edge of the pool, offering her hands down to Rose to help her up.

Re: Steel Sky (Adelle/Mind Flayer)

Despite the suggestion for it, a smile did not really find itself onto Rose's features. Yet she did agree with the whole idea of getting moving, with no real reason for them to be around the pool or the inner yard anymore. There was no need to help her get up from the bottom of the pool, the large lady helping herself out as she jumped and pulled herself out from there with just one large hand. Despite her awkward-looking and almost sexually exaggerated body form, she did appear to be fairly agile when it came to the crunch.

Re: Steel Sky (Adelle/Mind Flayer)

Once they were out of the pool, Adelle looked around to make sure nothing was in the tall grassy area, before leading the way back to the school proper, where she led Rose and Suzanne inside. "I'd like to move these sea creatures to a water area if possible, because I'd hate to have to kill them myself. And I'm still worried about what killed the octopi from before too, because I know I didn't. Actually, Rose, maybe you could shed some light on that for us," Adelle said as they reentered the school, where she'd lead the big woman to where the dead octopi were at, and afterwards showing her where the large crab and manta ray were at, and collecting the knocked out eels to keep them bundled together so they didn't get away, if possible.
