Here's a modified script that excludes drawing of MAP Status. When there's nothing to draw, there'll be no refreshing every frame. Though, you can't see the status outside of menu now.

That's far preferable. I decided to look through the scripts myself and see where they were calling the method to draw the status but gave up - Ruby isn't my first language and comments in Japanese don't help much either

Edit: P.S. Can you tell me where you looked/what you changed? I'm trying to learn as much as possible about RPG Maker scripts, although MV games starting to show up kind of makes some of that moot.

I'm pretty sure that what I found and changed is of no practical use. You see, different game circles tend to bury their custom scripts in different ways. So there's no guide to look for them. What I did was to look for a refresh script that deals in hp, sp and exp and just ommited (added # at the start of the line) "draw" parts to stop the game from printing status out.

The traveling swordsman you talked to in step 3 of the beginning in the NW inn, you can find him in 2nd Floor SE room, he has 3 more scenes.

Well I love playing new games and this looks awesome but as it stands I cant play it. The text is not appearing and if I use all decrypter so that I can add the script so Chiitrans can make an attempt at translating I get an error on startup saying im missing a title picture, game works fine if I dont use all decrypter and just run it but still the text is gone.

Master Etigoya, in Ancient Tower after step 8, how do I get to upper level?
The north exit in the main room leads to a balcony only.

Also, is the door in the mini-game room (north side) suppose to open?
When I beat it on easy, it dropped a green switch but doesn't seem to do anything.

hmmm upper has 6 area
NW balcony --- N balcony --- NE balcony

stair ----------- S balcony ---- SE balcony

S can go boss room and north has road to next floor

switch for south 2 crystal wall, door possibly cant open

I still cannot find my way to upstairs. If I am going there from 1st floor entrance, at where you open the secret passage into the tower, where do I need to go? Thanks

When I check the stair on 1F SW, there is no stairs (see save)

hmmm your save location cant open if upper of tower not clear......

Ok so I managed to get to the end and am in the room in the last city after beating the boss, but somehow I cannot interact with the mirror to see the gallery. I can sleep in the bed in the room though, anyone might know why?

This game reminds me also of scale garden games, only Action RPG is not the same as scale garden.
