"Fiiine, fiine...I guess I will let those guys finish the job. What could go wrong, right?"
And like that, the company of three started their journey towards the Bronze Citadel. In the way, the imp had explained the current situation of the Hells...
"The deal was that I will tell you things according to how much you pleased me, not that I will tell you what you want to know!" the imp had claimed
"Damn, I knew there was a trick somewhere!" Love complained, while winking at Cyra.
"So, lets start with the simple things...the Hells have nine layers...." the imp started explaining, smirking...

The Hells have nine layers...Avernus, the one Cyra currently is, is the main battlefield of the blood war. Bel, who had previously overthrown Zariel, was once again replaced by her. Zariel, a fallen celestial, is leading the fight against the hordes of the abyss.
Dispater is still the Lord of the Second. He is responsible for providing with weapons the forces of hell.
Mammon is still hoarding treasures as he rules over Monauros, the swampy third layer of hell.
Belial and Fierna, are ruling Phlegethos, the Fourth Hell together.
Levistus is ruling Stygia...even while frozen by Asmodeus in a prison of unmelting ice. Geryon, the previous ruler of Stygia, may not be able to do anything to him, but he can do to his minions...thus the frozen layer of Stygia is wrecked by war.
The sixth layer of hell, Malbolge, is the penitentiary of hell. The Hag Countess had died, and Glasya, Asmodeus's daughter, became the Lord of the Sixth.
Baalzebul is ruling the ruins of Maladomini, while Mephistopheles is ruling the frozen layer of Cania.
Obviously, Asmodeus is still ruling the hells from Nessus...but the imp shamelessly even added this in his 'information'.
As for the reason they were collecting the demon bodies, apparently the wizard was working into making the hellfire engines to be able to fully work against demons too...something too good to be true, as far as the imp was concerned.

Finally, they arrived at the Bronze Citadel, that supposedly lied in the center of Avernus...an easy claim, considering the infinite nature of the layer. It was a truly massive fortress, with layers upon layers of walls, riddled with towers and war machines...one could only imagine how impossible of a task would be for anyone to conquer it...and how foolish the demons could be, for ever hoping to do so...
