I'm still at the beginning of this game and I'm confused.

I've found the bandits in the bandit lair as mentioned in some previous post. They are strong and I don't think you could possibly defeat them at level 1 or 2. Also when I lose to them I get a yes or no question, but nothing happens from either choice (although hp is recovered). No H scene from loss, nothing.

Is there something I'm missing? Am I supposed to grind for a bit until I can defeat them? Is there supposed to be a H scene after loss or victory?

that yes/no question is more like hint, as in which one you should kill first for easier fight. you still have to grind for a bit though, since that's really the norm for all (well, mostly retro) dragon quest games. Level 5 should've been enough

trying to increase libido and charm(pheromones) i seem to be stuck, at 50 libido and 103 charm any suggestions?

just grinding for higher charm/pheromone, after you got to around 120-140, just try to fight any humanoid enemies, and keep defend until you get raped to increase libido.

I need help please... how you can give birth? she is pregnant but her belly is normal... may be i need sleep? thanks and sorry 4 my english.

Go to the castle-town where you save the princess, on the easternmost of the town, there's a building with a heart symbol, talk to the counter there.

I dunno if it's bug or not, but apparently defeated in battle will cancelling her pregnancy.

Anyone know some enemies that rape you in combat?

I know the Zombie in green does, but that's the only one i know of. Edit: just found out the orange long tongued enemy rapes as well.

while we're at that, anyone know where to get the first book for exhibitionism?

I already got the second one from the nun in the middle of the forest, but I can't find the first one

The first one is on a corpse in the destroyed town surrounded by poison. The one near the first castle town with the birthing clinic.
You need to use a pickaxe and fight a boss to get to it.

but why can't I unequip the armor? the message screen says something along the line of 'Laura isn't lewd enough', but her Libido is already at 200 or so

Do the books not actually appear in your inventory? Or do you need to do something else to read them? I've searched that skeleton and found something, but I can't seem to find the book in my inventory for Laura to read.

Just in case you haven't, make sure you actually use the books from your inventory. If you have the boat you can get a big boost to your "ecchi" stat by going to the northernmost island. Enter the well located there and read the book in there for the boost. Should be enough to get her lewd enough to strip her clothes off.

Just in case you haven't, make sure you actually use the books from your inventory. If you have the boat you can get a big boost to your "ecchi" stat by going to the northernmost island. Enter the well located there and read the book in there for the boost. Should be enough to get her lewd enough to strip her clothes off.

To get the vaginal sex book you'll need the last key that you can obtain after getting the boat and opening the floodgates after doing some... water retrieval quest or something. With that last key, go to Gami's Castle and head to the basement and unlock the jail cell. One of the bookshelves will have the book.

As for the anal sex book, I'm not sure. You'll have to go the island where the Gold ball collector person is and you'll have to have 55 gold balls collected or something. I haven't gotten it to work even with 99 gold balls in my inventory, I was only able to get up to the 30 gold balls chest.

a little tidbit : on the second town, beside the church (the place where the kid & his porn book is), there's a crease on the upper side of the road. if you search there, you can get as many gold balls as you want.

of course, that's assuming you're not using Cheat Engine

I'm not~ It doesn't take much to get those balls anyway once you get majin-giri/kiri.

I'll check it out sometime later, but the issue I'm having with the gold collector is that he doesn't want to check the amount of gold balls I currently have every time I change it. Including when I sell all the gold balls and then buy them back... Haha...

Also, is it possible to still get the spell Merami even after you have failed to get it through the three locations the spellbook for it is in? Currently level 31 or so in a playthrough and I still haven't gotten the spell, locking me out of doing some miscellaneous stuff.

ummm, you can still revisit Jami's castle after defeating him, so I guess you can.

also, someone said after getting the ship, I should go with the water gate quest. any idea where to go or what to do?
