Tassadar and I have recently acquired GMOD, and he and I would enjoy some ULMF parties with the various silly games we can play on it.

How to get rid of the errors and get a lot of stuff to actually work. There's a link on that page to a site with all of the content from the basic valve games. You don't need the packs if you have said game already installed, and you can get the various subgames like prop hunt and trouble in terrorist town via the steam workshop or by hunting them down yourself.

I do believe that in the multiplayer menu, it allows you to download the more popular game modes straight from that.

Like for prop-hunt, there was a button I clicked that just let me download it as it appeared in the main menu. I didn't even need to do Steam Workshop or any other source other than GMOD

Prop hunt was fun, but while searching for other mods, I saw Prop Hunters.

It doesn't seem popular at all, and I'm not sure why. It has a taunt menu so you can taunt with what you want, and you can rotate your freaking props. And you left click to transform into new props instead of having to pick stuff up, meaning you can leave the scene of a crime with zero indication as to what you are.

• Row-row-rotate yo prop
• No more ear rape taunts
• Prop Hunter

I'm going to see about installing more taunts because the current list is a wee bit lame in Prop Hunter.

I constructed a dedicated Prop Hunter server, and added a good variety of taunts. You have the option of either downloading directly from the server, which may take a while, or

Installing the mappacks is quite simple. Find your garry's mod folder. Follow this path, creating new folders if you don't have them.

GarrysMod\garrysmod\download\sound\prophunters

Extract the zip there, so the soundpack is the last folder in the list. That'll let you join without downloading all of the sound files used for taunting.
