Linda looked back the man who was down..
"Well, you know, I am on a quest to stop the tentacle threat, so I think I could help you out and save your daughter!"
The man looked back to her with a suprised look
"You could?!"
"Well if not, atleast try.."
The man brightened up and was bit of spaztic even,
"Really? Save my daughter? Thank heavens I met you!"
The man was nearly trying to hug Linda who kinda stepped a little back and gave an akward look to him.
"So, what does your daughter look like?"
"My daughters name is Lilli, she's a very long haired blond. She is bit more pale than the usual and she has very bright blue eyes, she's very balanced body build, really came to her mother.. "
"Look, ma'am, I'll wait back here in this town, even though there is nothing much left here, please bring her back here safe"
Linda nods.
"I'll do my best!"
Afterwards Linda went back to the inn.
Innkeeper looked at her bit suprised
"Back already?"
"Well yes, but I was kinda wondering.. Do you have any gossip or rumours or any info that might be related to this tentacle business?" Linda asked right straght to the point.
"Well.. There was this girl called Lilli who was kidnapped by.."
"Sorry to interupt but I already know that"
"Ah, well there hasn't really been any other things going on around here.. apart from thise strange customers I've had sleeping here in the inn lately"
"Strange?" Linda raised her eyebrow.
"Yeah, about a week ago there was this rather sinister lady here, with rather... large frontal bumpers. Her charm was unresistable, but yet, something about her gave me the chills. She was here only for a night and asked similiar stuff about tentacles and the like, she left quite disapointed."
"I see.. So what about others?"
"Well just before you arrived, I had this lizardkin woman pass by here. Similiar questions, I told her about Lilli and she seemed intrested about the issue, I don't think she ever talked with Lilli's father though. She left about as quickly as she arrived, didn't even buy a drink."
"Oh, I guess I'm not the only one trying to deal with the tentacle threat"
"Well obviously, if I was anymore younger, I'd be trying too."
"Thanks for the information" Linda said and started to walk outside.
As she was at the mid of the town, she started pondering where to go next..
A) Go to the forest.
B) Departure to Cindercliff.
C) Go to the road and continue your trip.
Status.

Energy;
Linda is currently full of energy and well rested.
Hunger;
Linda is well fed.
Other;
Linda has no active other buffs of debuffs going on.
Items;
Robe(Good shape). Necklace(enchanted). Oak Wand. Info Flier.

So rushing into green tentacles it is going to be... A
And here I was hoping we will buy some items first because when green tentacles get us in the forest we will lose not only our clothes and dignity but also the money purse. Lets hope it wasn't given to us just for the purpose of losing it then.

Well 3 for A (or 4?)
Linda took a breath and wondered by herself "Well, better start by investigating the forest"
Linda went off towards the forest. Being a city elf she is, she's not really too used to going deep in a forest. Though it was a beutiful sight.
As she went deeper, the woods started getting thicker and thicker, and sun was barely showing above the bushy leaves.
It was then when Linda heard a rather, weird sound very close to her. A splashing sound, "splot splot". She went a bit towards the sound and peaked behind a tree.
What she saw was a small open area with a rather large and green coloured slime!
This was unusual, slimes have always been small and clear, like water. But this one was green, and it was almost as tall as you and rather wide. This thing felt pretty fishy, however, your elf sense tingles.. The slime had some sort of a ring inside of it. It's magical, thats for sure.
What should Linda do?
A) Lets Attack! I'm sure we take it on.
1. Attack via nearly spamming of arcane bolts.
2. Attack conserving mana with accurate arcane bolts.
3. Lets save mana, and only the bolt when we need.
B) Lets attack, but do so sneakily. Lets see if we could climb up this tree and take it from above. (Above numeral options apply here too)
C) Lets just avoid this thing. It's not our business.

I find B a bit dangerous because:
a) It seriously limits our mobility.
b) We're not exactly athletic to begin with.
c) It might be a good idea if we were to 1 hit the slime... but since it's pretty big, I think it might withstand a few hits. So, after it's attacked, we've got nowhere to run and no space to dodge/evade (and I think that it will easily "glomp" it's way upward the tree).

Linda takes a deep breath, "this is it" she thinks. Never having faught any sort of foe, she was bit nervous, but confident in her magical abilities.
She charges up a bolt.. Takes aim and.. SWOOSH
(-10 mana)
The Arcane bolt hit perfectly on target! The Slime lets out a hiss, and shakes violently. It clearly had noticed Linda.
Linda fire another one, hitting the slime in the side. The slime begins to charge towards Linda but there's still distance left! Linda fires yet another bolt. The slime took the hit.. But it did not slow it down, the violently shaking slime bounces on top of Linda with great force, slamming her down on ground.
(-20 mana)
SPLASH! The slime broke down and the gooey sticky slime covered Linda's near completely. "Ewwww!" Linda yells out.
The slime was everywhere, her robe was messy, it was in her hair and face.
"Gah!" This slime also let out a rather salty odor.
Linda started to clean herself off of this slime, got her face and hair some what sorted out but her robe would require a prober wash. The newly slimed robe was also heavier due of all the slime in it, and the odor just wont go away.
Linda looked closely to the remains of the slime, and picked up the ring.
The ring seems to be made of gold and has a small yellow gem on it.
Inspecting the ring, it seems to have some sort of a energy restoring properties. No reason why not to put it on!
Linda prepares herself once again to continue on.
A) Check around this small opening.
B) Go deeper into the woods.
C) Go back to town, to wash this icky stuff off.

Linda started thinking a bit.. This small open area seems rather odd in a dense forest like this. She started looking around it.. It seems some of the edges of the opening are just dirt.. Even roots poke out of it? Checking the spot where the slime originally were, there was a bush that seemed to be un naturally half cut, with plenty of slime. The slime was clearly dissolving the growth, slowly but surely.
Linda took this bit suprised, and realized that her robes were covered in this stuff. "Could it.." she started looking at her robes, at the sleeves, near the chest area.. But there were no signs of any sort of dissolving, guess it only effects plants?
Her ponderings were quickly cut short when she heard rattling.
A bush slightly away from her was rattling and shaking, there was something in that thing! And that bush just happened to block the direction towards the town. Linda is not sure if going near it is good idea and going around might get her lost..
