Well felt like trying thise out as they seem fun to write.
This CYOA is kinda based on the idea with the colour tentacles going around in the Tentacle Lair series, and I guess you could call it a spin off.
Proloque
Thise mystical lands have always been peaceful for it's habitants. Civilizations flourish, living up to their golden ages. It was then, when a unnatural rift un like any other opened. From it, came out something of looking like a seed. Crashing down like a meteor hitting the ground at high speed, this seed dug in deep to the ground, only leaving a smoky crater behind it. This crater ended up turning into a lake covering up this event, like it never happened.. Nobody expected what this seed actually carried. A deep corruption went on underground out of the sight of the commoners.
Thise creatures, called tentacles as short had started to appear around the lands. Generally they were classified as just another beast to add to the already colourful beastiarity. They were not really common either, there were very little knowledge of them, and generally only the most adventurous of people ever came in contact with em. Shrugged off, nobody cared about thise appereantly ”mindless” creatures. Oh but they were so wrong.
Centuries passes, and the golden age was about to come to the end. For thise tentacle creatures made their stand, and showed unseen strength, cunning and smartness. Many villages were attacked, women stolen and raped, even some men, though many men were slaughtered.
The council of the three races became aware of the situation and a large alarmed state went through the major cities, carrying towards the smaller towns and villages.
It was a lucky discovery to realize thise tentacles seem to have a rivalry based on their colour, for if they were to combine their strength, the situation would surely turn hopeless.
Large bounties were set. Any knowledge, any way to stop their growth, anything really to weed em out would be rewarded with glory and wealth. This alone has attracted adventurers, groups or alone to get their sweet slice of it all.. But are they prepared for what lies a head?

Elves;
Elves are an old race, rumored to be the first to come in touch with magic and master it. Elves life in forests and plains. General elf architecture is made from wood and special elven crystal. The crystal elves make is magical and generally a mystery, its toughness largely depends on the builder and buildings themselves. Crystal made for glass replacement ain't gona be so tough as a crystal made for a castle wall.
Elven population is largely female dominant, about 75% female, 25% male. This has caused the tentacle creatures to be rather attracted to elf settlements, and also to cause trouble for the elves in form of taking their males for hostage.
Generally, elves have been able to keep the tentacles in check well enough, for now...
Racial abilities;

Humans are a very stout and a proud race. Mastering the innovation and tools, they have made their way in many places, though they prefer to live in hills and plains next to woods and forests. Human architecture uses stone, metals, wood, glass etc. Pretty much anything they can get their hands on to make into what they need.
Human population is very balanced.
The tentacles are a moderate problem for humans, but humans have a lot of guts so they aren't that big of a threat yet. Though farm sides have had a lot of problems with the tentacle threat.

Lizardkin;
Lizardkin is a trading and skavenger race that has been in large support with elven and humans alike. Lizardkin live in forests and swamps and some live in deserts too. Generally lizardkin prefer wooden structures with stone, similiar to that of humans but with a little more.. unique touch.
Lizardkin population is more male dominant, with about 70% male, 30% female.
Lizardkin have suffered the most from the tentacle threat than other races, with many lizardkin men have been killed and women stolen.
This threat has made pure lizardkin settlements rare and many lizardkin prefer to live in human and elven cities. There are a few large lizardkin cities, but they are not considered safe for long..

Adventurers
Linda 'din
Linda is a 20 year old semi large breast sized elf. She has blue glowy eyes and a blonde, golden straight hair to her shoulders.
She was a student of arcane magic in a small elven city, but unfortunantly her studies were stopped as the city was raided by purple tentacles. She was able to get away from the city during the raid, but not before seeing her classmates, and teachers who were trying to defend the students to be raped or knocked out cold. Her get away was miraclous indeed, one wrong step and she wouldn't be there to tell the tale.
Having her studies ruined, what was left to do for her was very limited, nobody wants a half baked mage. But after hearing about the rewards, she decided to make a little payback and gain fortune at the same time.
Linda's eguiptment;
-Light grey trimmed blue robe that covers her body well enough.
-Enchanted amulet, passed down to her as a family heirloom, nobody knows what it can do however.
-Small Oak wand that amplifies her casting abilities by a little bit.
Linda is physically in alright shape, but she relies more on brain than brawl so expectitions are not too high here. She is somewhat agile but has low physical strength
Linda knows 3 spells;
Arcane Bolt – Direct damage causing spell with slight knockback, decently damaging. 10 mana a cast.
Slowfall – Allows the caster to slowdown the falling speed and levitate a little bit when going downwards, but can't go upwards. Great for scaling down cliffs. Can be upgraded to levitate later on.
Haste – Spell that makes Linda a slightly bit quicker.. in terms of running that is for 1 minute. Can be upgraded later for reflex haste. - 50 mana a cast.
Linda's mana pool is 110. 100 base, +10 from small oak wand. Mana recovers depending on the energy of the caster, resting a good sleep usualy fills the mana up completely.
Personal strengths and weaknesses;
- Bookworm. She can catch on and learn things a lot easier, specially those of magical manner.
- Low experience. She has no real fighting experience as she never really used her magic offensive against anything else than a dummy on a class.

Elis 'oden
Elis is a 22 year old medium breast sized elf. She has a long red hair going on a pony tail to her backside and dark green eyes.
She was a guard working at one of the larger elf cities, generally a rather boring job. As the tentacle threat started to spread, and the reward announcements made, her thrill for adventure sparked up.
Elis is a very well trained marksman and decent sword user. She's very agile and in a good shape, though she is not that physically strong.
Elis's eguiptment is;
-Leather iron chain reinforced body armor and leather shorts, with resilent leather high boots. Keeps her fairly well covered and is generally rather lightweight while providing good protection.
-Finely crafted ”special” wood bow. Not the best weapon really, ”special” is probably some cheap wood they got from some leftover pile.. Its pretty well crafted and lightweight, so it can shoot its arrows to good range with decent power.
- quiver with 50 iron arrows. Sharp enough, don't expect much against tougher foes though.
Medicore crystal sword. A sword made from elven crystal, it's sharp but not too sharp. Slightly lazily made really, could say it would be about equal to a slightly rusty iron sword.

Jessica Tuvar.
Jessica is a 19 year old large breast sized human. She has black short hair and dark purple eyes with slight glimmer.
She was a cultist with dark motives.. but unfortunantly red tentacle creatures found the cults hide out. Male cultists were mercilessly killed and women were raped to no end, including Jessica. Jessica however was able to escape being taken away by the tentacles with a suprise spell attack while being carried away, she was in luck for being carried as the last in the line, the other creatures up a head saw nothing when her carrier was dazed and knocked out.
Since then Jessica went back to her old home, bitter from having the cult broke down, and started to prepare to take vengeance on the creatures, and maybe get some of those delicious rewards as a bonus.
Jessica's equiptment;
- Black dull robe that support her large chest and shows some cleavage.
-Enchanted ring. This ring can charge a small energy blast with high knockback once a day.
- Fine Iron sword. Local blacksmith did a fine job on this, sometimes thise knockers pay off.
Jessica is in good shape, she is not the most agile but slightly above the avarage joe for sure.
Jessica knows 3 spells;
Shadow lash. - Spell which causes a shadowy whip that reaches about 20 feet that snaps some slashy damage on her target, less useful the closer the target is, can be cast from a meelee weapon/wand/staff. - 25 mana a cast.
Rite of Dark Healing – Refreshes and recovers Jessica as if she had had a good night rest. Takes preparation time and costs 80% of maximun mana. Disables mana recovery for several hours
Shadow Jump – Shadows give Jessica a nice push for a good heighty jump. Good for climbing, bad for fighting, as you don't want to fall from too high. Upgradable later on to help on the whole landing issue - 45 mana a cast

Sara Stoutriver
Sara is a 21 year old smallish breast sized human. She has medium brown hair to her shoulders thats slightly curly, her eye colour is dark grey.
Sara has been a mercenary as long as she can remember. Regulary, her jobs are usualy ”teach someone a lesson” or fight off some terrifying strong creatures threatening villages. Very experienced at different arms but prefers axes. After hearing about the rewards on thise tentacle creatures, she tought she'd up for a easy task to greatness.
Sara is in a very good shape. She is agile and has a above the avarage physical strength.
Sara's equiptment;
-Plated leather tunic and pants. Cover her up well and provide protection. Though her movement is bit less controllable due of the weight of the plates, she can still move quickly.
- Sharp Steel Axe. Sara's favorite axe she refers as ”peace maker”. Its sharp, its in good shape, and ready to slash about everything.
- Dagger stash. 5 throwable well balanced iron daggers hid in her boots. You know, just incase..
Personal strengths and weaknesses;
- Arrogant and stubborn. She wants something done, it will be done. This might cause some issues as she can get careless or good things as her mind won't get off tracked so easily.
- Experienced fighter. She knows her way with weapons and fighting thats for sure.

Dina Grudla
Dina is a 25 year old small breast sized Lizardkin. She has yellow eyes with slight glimmer, two long backward going horns in curve at the side of her head.
Dina was refered as a druid by other lizardkin and was known for being a healer of the weak. Cyan tentacles came to her home town one night, stealthy taking away women and she was one of the victims. She woke up with a tentacle in her mounth, she paniced, but didn't have the time do anything but try to jump from her bed only to swallow a large amount of a fluid coming from the tentacle with a high preasure that dazed her back to sleep. However, due of her resistant properties, she woke up a little while later, and noticed that she was being carried away somewhere. She started to struggle, and was in luck, the tentacle monster was holding her rather slobbily, allowing her to get loose and run. The chase was on, but not for long, as she found out thise tentacle monsters were too slippery to climb up trees, and what do you know, her escape route was actually to climb up to a tree.
She was able to escape the beasts by going tree to tree, and they gave up. After this experience she decided to find out whats the deal with em anyway and heard about the rewards.. so one plus one.
Dina is pretty agile, and avarage physical strengthed.
Dina's equiptment;
- Very sharp steel sickle. Not too long and rather curvy, but boy, this thing is sharp.
- Cloth tunic and pants. Covers her up but offers very little protection.
- Mystical bag. Nobody knows where she got this, but it has a lot more space than it looks like it has.
Dina has 2 spells;
Shock – Small lightning shock is send on her opponent that dazes them for short while while dealing bit of damage. 20 mana to cast
Refresh – a healing spell that recovers and refreshes the caster or the cast target a little bit, but slows casters mana recovery. 45 mana to cast

Viki is a 23 years old semi large breast sized lizardkin. She has blue eyes, two sprillaing backwards going horns on side of her head.
Viki is a hunter who has enjoyed the thrill of the hunt, and rather popular with men, due of her breast size which is very rare among lizardkin. However, ever since the tentacle threat rised, she found out to be the one being hunted. Barely avoiding tentacle beasts of many kind during her hunts. When things started to go real bad and she found out her home village was raided she moved into a human town that was better defended than her old home village. She spend her days as a barmaid as hunting would be too dangerous with all the tentacles around. After the new promise of the large rewards and glory was announced, her hunters instict re awokened and she prepared herself for another hunt..
Viki is agile and physically slightly stronger than avarage.
Viki's equiptment;
- Leather chest and pants. Good covering and slight protection, lightweight too.
- Iron-Oak crossbow. This thing packs a punch, but its slow to reload. It's bit more accurate than the avarage ranged weapon aswell.
- 50 iron bolts in a bolt bouch. Guess they are sharp enough.
- Expert made iron sword. You got yourself some boob discount on this, but it was still expensive, yet worth every penny. Way better than the avarage iron sword, rivals avarage steel ones due of how well its made.
Personal strengths and weaknesses;
- Tracking. She can notice signs left by creatures easier than others and is good at making rough estimations.
- Sensitive. She's bit more sensitive with touching and all, so if tentacles get her, she's really gona feel it.

- Iron-Oak crossbow. This thing packs a punch, but its slow to reload. It's bit more accurate than the avarage ranged weapon aswell.
- 50 iron bolts in a bolt bouch. Guess they are sharp enough.
- Expert made iron sword. You got yourself some boob discount on this, but it was still expensive, yet worth every penny. Way better than the avarage iron sword, rivals avarage steel ones due of how well its made.
Personal strengths and weaknesses;
- Tracking. She can notice signs left by creatures easier than others and is good at making rough estimations.
- Sensitive. She's bit more sensitive with touching and all, so if tentacles get her, she's really gona feel it.
