Okay so... I wanna nerd out on the story a bit. Now I understand logic doesn't really HAVE to apply to fiction but anyway.
Maybe I'm just overthinking it but, do we not get to see the the full progression/range of the condition in either sex throughout the game? That everyone starts out with red eyes and some plant growth then eventually ends up some sort of amalgamation of green body parts.
Would kind of make sense if the condition is caused by something like... exposure to a type of radiation. That's one of the things that wasn't ruled out in the audio logs at least.
Anyway I've now played through version 2 and I can say that collecting the gold IDs isn't anywhere near as bad as you'd think from the way some people were acting. I only missed them in 2 stages, stage 2 since I didn't realize the trick but it was a quick replay given the ex door is relatively close to the beginning and stage 5 because how the IDs were hidden was changed. Besides for the most part the game is enjoyable as long as you don't try to just bum-rush it, the only parts that bugged me were that there are a couple of very long walks and escorting the bunny gets very... hectic if you've not gone through it once to get an idea of what spawns show up and when. Of course I'll always hate the spore plants and their homing shots XD
Also, I gotta give you props for referencing Night of the Comet

in the audio logs and managing to get some rather gothic (in my opinion) imagery into a plant zombie apocalypse h-game. On that note, I'd like to ask, are the "fused" zombies still aware or even alive?
