This is something I started writing when the original forums were about. I still plan to complete it at some point.
It's my very realistic idea that some of us met up and then the fate of humankind fell into our hands. More will be revealed as the series goes on.
The Anonymous Cry
Chapter 1 – 20 April 2009
They walked down the deserted street with nothing but remorse in their eyes. The 12 people who now had the fate of the entire world on their shoulders. They walked as two symmetric sides of a triangle – Aika and Antithetical Inquiry at the front, Onikain just behind and to Aika’s left, Chibi just behind and to Ai’s right. The diagonal columns went on – in total, behind Ai there was Chibi, Nunu, DA, Miachan and Biteme, behind Aika there was Onikain, Darkfire, Lucas, MMK, Bob and Rule34.
They walked slowly, not speaking, only looking forward. Their formation took up the whole road, and as they walked along the street, one could hear shutters and windows closing around them, some out of fear of the group, some out of fear of being seen with them.
Their clothes were completely black – the males all had simple black T-shirts, hoodies, jeans and trainers, the females wore a low cut top, and skirts with long black leggings and intimidating boots, that clanked against the concrete road.
All except for Nunu, who had chosen to go with the low cut top, and jeans and trainers. Even after being together for nearly a year, still nobody was sure of Nunu’s gender. The group had decided it best to leave it.
They entered a grassy area, and all at once stopped, and circled round a grave. Aika knelt down. “Happy birthday Becca. Thanks to you, we’re still alive.” At which point, Onikain broke down into tears. Chibi put her arm around his shoulder. “She’s not dead, Oni.” Chibi tries to comfort Onikain. “She’s still out there. You can feel it, can’t you? We all can.”
After the twelve had paid their respects to the grave, they moved on. Aika looked up. The beautiful sunshine and the clear blue sky did not reflect his mood. The final struggle for power over London was about to begin.
