Through the Mists: Out of Character Discussion

Re: Through the Mists: Out of Character Discussion

Oh thats so mean to my poor pirate. I mean, character fitting and great party composition wise to have a strong spotter and a good lier and hider, buuut.. :p

Yeah. I are warlock magey with some helpful and not so helpful cantrips! Wish there was a cantrip of healing but that'd be op XD.

*ponders what a handsome check is*

Speaking of, Spider, do you have a character reference pic of Tristam?

Pure fluff on how well Spodah can describe how "handsome" Tristam is :p. Is he a dashing military officer with deep tragic soulful face that just needs a little bit fixing up hahah.

Re: Through the Mists: Out of Character Discussion

Maybe there ought to be an attraction check to see which PC the eligible NPCs fall for. PCs though get to decide how much they have the hots for one another.

Re: Through the Mists: Out of Character Discussion

I don't have a portrait because I'm bad at finding those. He isn't intended to be particularly handsome, but I suppose you could call him that if you get him cleaned up a bit and smiling.

Re: Through the Mists: Out of Character Discussion

Hear that hot PC ladies? Soldier boy needs a bath and a smile. I'm sure if they both joined him for the bath he'd be smiling.

Up to you. I figure that'd have something to do with CON and CHA stuff.

Re: Through the Mists: Out of Character Discussion

I usually see people use charisma for such things. *rolls*

Roll(1d20)+2:
4,+2
Total:6

Totally ugly.

*nodnod*

Btw, fair warning, you may have to railroad my pirate. With Tristram not seeing fit to share anything about his letter, little will stop her from bailing from the next danger. *nods*

Re: Through the Mists: Out of Character Discussion

Well, as far as bailing from the adventure, the mists already have them.

I'm not sure I'd want to railroad your pirate too much though, once inside Barovia proper. I would count on common sense and survival instinct to make Rovana realize that going out on her own, even in the daytime is a bad move. It may not be obvious at this point, but hopefully fairly soon it would become evident. Everywhere is dangerous and there is no escape. No escape. No. Escape. :D

But if she wants to go to Castle Ravenloft right away, I'm not going to stop her.

EDIT: And I'd maybe mainly use Charisma too for something like that. Although some characters might prefer Intellgence, Constitution or Strength as a secondary trait. Fun with formulas.

Common sense.. bleh. who needs that. Survival instinct? Yep, lots of that!

Re: Through the Mists: Out of Character Discussion

Oh I dunno. Some priests at slave auctions need common sense. Some pirates in the land of undead need it too. ;)

Beauty Check

Man the rolls are just poor for me right now! Haven't gotten anything above a 6 hahah.

Did you say Futa vampires? I think you said futa vampires.

So many futa vampires. So many.

You suck them and then they suck you. ;)

Result of Deception roll for Vita:

You are fairly certain that you've hidden your intent. You don't see him react in a fashion that would make him think you're too needy.

Edit: to avoid a double post, I'm going to edit the response to Vita onto my last IC post.

!!! Wooo!

I guess Rovana will take the lead, barring Tristam response to the contrary?

Alright. I hope I wasn't too presumptuous with adding portions about the kiss.

Rovana - the ravishing blonde captain getting fucked and sucked at the same time! But in which direction? The world may never know! Tune in next time!

Re: Through the Mists: Out of Character Discussion

Well, it utterly depends. I'm hoping for a nice mistress that will replenish bloodloss with lots of corruptive nutrients.

Re: Through the Mists: Out of Character Discussion

We'll see, we'll see. You may need to EARN that mistress.

Anyway, edit is up for Vita/Ratka interaction.

This scene is nearing its conclusion. The Vistani have given their story and their gifts.

25 silver bolts for Rovana

1 silver dagger for Vita

1 silver short sword for Tristam

You can add them to your character sheets.

Any last minute questions should be asked now, before the gypsies head into the mists and leave you guys to walk.

EDIT: Next IC post will probably be tomorrow. Gypsy's response to Tristam is essentially "Keep it. The tiefling has just bought it for you."
