Pretty much my thoughts on the game, I mean it was announced what like 4-5 months ago and........THAT'S WHAT YOU MADE?! Hettie's been working on her jungle girl thing less time and just the animations alone that she's made blow TPs entire game out of the water! Half the time the models didn't even line up straight so it would look like she was sucking on their thigh or she was getting screwed by the sky. *rubs forehead* Am I the only one who sees the freaking irony that the guy who's milking all the money he can out of it (no pun intended) makes stuff that's worse than the people who do it for free?! (Fairy Fighting, Fairy Wars, Hettie, Zeta) Then again this is the guy who will release a demo and when people try to tell him about bugs or control issues he goes completely batshit crazy and goes to cry in a corner. But of course when have bugs and glitchy controls ever really tarnished a game that badly?

i agree with the three of u but seriously pullin some major shit storm stuff by flame frying a guy who admitedly does under achieving games is one way to start a flame war and i think ulmf has had enough of those in the past especially to do with toonpimp am i right about that one pheonix

From what ive read on these forums before, not many people like Toon pimp huh?
I know his games are mediocre quality and only come out once a year, but he
is the only person who regularly(?) puts out RoR games.

Excuse me, but if a game is garbage, especially one that people are expected to pay for, I think I'd like to know.

I'll just note that the objections to his flame are objections to flaming in general, and no objections of actual substance - for example, "he's wrong about how bad it is" - have been yet raised.

Hold on a sec! You DONT have to pay for the kaos series yet! And yeah its pretty shitty of TP to tease for 5 months and release that 4 minute experience. BUT!!! He already was working on cracklevania2 and has some other level screens up on his site. Im pretty pissed at TP also, and i understand the futility of "defending" him, but at least give the man some credit for putting out free material for this many years...

You see, the thing is, it's not Toonpimp's games we hate, so much as it is TP himself. Yes, that is a generalization and I can't speak for everyone on the forums here, but that's the general consensus that I see.

Toonpimp has a couple of good games, more than enough bad ones, and a handful of ones that are in-between.
More often than not, his games have good ideas behind them, they just never really get brought to their full potential.

The reason we don't really ever talk about Toonpimp or his works much further than 'hey, TP put another game out,' is because any time we try to have an intelligent discussion on these boards about him, some rabid TP fan(s) notice the discussion, immediately assume we're flaming him without reading much of the discussion, if any part of it at all, and then it really does devolve into a flame war.
Just think of it this way: on these forums, trying to have an intelligent conversation about TP is like trying to finish the name Candleja-
