If you go into Hades (Large double doors upstairs at Ilias Temple), you can see the Monster Encyclopedia by interacting with the bookcase in there. Enemies who aren't bosses (who are fought by interacting with them in Hades) or Labyrinth-only enemies will have a combat replay option.

  • Do you have Endure (learned from Power Fighter level 6) on all of your characters? If you don't, then grind up all of your characters until they know this ability, and keep it equipped at all times.
  • Deflectors are useful for keeping your characters alive, since they protect against arbitrary amounts of damage. There are some races that learn deflector-granting skills, and the job Machinist learns Electromagnetic Armor (though to use this skill in any job, you'll need to also grind Makina Master to level 5 so you learn Skill Use: Machina).
  • The lamia race White Snake Kagura learns Waning Moon Dance at level 7 and Evening Moon Dance at level 8, these make your party immune for 4 turns to physical and magical damage, respectively. But these don't help against auto-hit attacks. They also have high SP costs, so you'll want to teach the lamia SP Cost 50% (learned from Pirate King level 9) and SP Regen 10% (from Hero level 7) so they don't run out of SP.
  • You could try having one character as a tank by teaching them Super Appeal (learned from War Miko level 5) so they draw most enemy attacks, and make them use a deflector-granting skill every turn. This will allow your other characters to spend less turns on protecting themselves. To make the tank even more effective at drawing enemy attacks, you could have them equip the Rainbow Nail Polish accessory (duplicates the effect of Super Appeal) and/or teach the other characters Super Hide (learned from Divine Songstress level 5).
  • For angels specifically, the race Cupid of Lust learns Nullify Elemental at level 7, which gives immunity to all non-chaos elements except physical, pleasure, holy and dark (and the former two can generally be covered by physical immunity from Waning Moon Dance).
It's been a while since I played in the LoC, so some of this info may be outdated.

Alternatively take them out before they take you out. Characters like Reina, Shirohebi or El who have innate Haste on a skill type will always go first no matter how much faster the enemies are, so you can start out with Waning/Evening Moon Dance or stunlock enemies with ailments (though this gets iffy when you start getting into fights with the likes of Apoptosis, who tend to have a bunch of immunes). Characters who have passives in the lines of "(may) use X skill when the battle starts" can also potentially help with this, and with sufficient boosts (LoC gear, pretty much) the offensive ones can potentially wipe out enemy lines before the first turn.

Disclaimer: I've never actually played LoC, all this information is gotten from the grapevine. Take it with a pinch of salt.

Boy, this is really helpful especially when i use the Waning moon dance. thank you for the info.

By the way, if anyone's looking for a walkthrough of the collaboration scenario, there's one of those:

There isn't much and it only goes up to chapter 9 so far. But it'll help some new players out there.

I'm guessing the devs are still as quiet as ever about part 3? :(
Regarding part III they are working on implementing trial "convenient functions" to the chaos labyrinth. I suppose it's a lot of work to make the gameplay cross compatible. Though yeah, wish they were more transparent about the overall progress rather than just providing intermittent teasers.

Wait you mean they are wasting our time for Chaos labyrinth? That's end game content I don't give a damn about it right know, most people don't play it at all, give us story and add Chaos labyrinth afterwards, they had no trouble updating it the first time in part 1, and I believe in part 2 also, they could do the same here.
We've already waited, what, 4 years, almost 4 years? And they make us wait more for something that most players won't even bother with? Don't get me wrong I like chaos labyrinth gives me an excuse to play the game more, and I like farming. But I know for a fact a big portion of the fan base does not care =/

i did not touch the chaos labyrinth yet since there an achievement for beating the game without going in there from what i heard and i cant wait for part 3 i really want tamamo in my party she my favorite character.
