I kinda miss the days of mimics, minotaurus girls, alraunes and ghost girls. The monsters have gotten weirder and weirder and in many ways, less and less attractive. This isn't to take away from the game, I love it, but some of these things are just... ehh.

This reminds me of how I was looking forward to many reencounters of monsters you have already met. For example the Slug Girl, which said "I'll remember this" after being "defeated". However the first third of the game left me disappointed when it comes to this matter.

Also, in a previous update torotoro stated that it was very difficult to manage all the optional story flags. So... did he just leave them out? Take the jewel of friendship for instance. I was 100% sure that Luka would

meet the three fairies in the Forest of Spirits again.

However, he didn't.

There is virtually nothing up to the end of the first patch that could be traced back to previous optional content. At least for me. I mean, although I have completed part 2 and copied over the global.sav, maybe something went wrong?

Well ... maybe I AM wrong... but....

in chapter 3 we are introduced to the first monster lord which is basically a dark god, and the 6 ancestors.
Then you see the ??? session in the Torotoro site....
I guess the optional parts are going to be patched in the game ... and if that's the case I Look forward to see the seal destoyed.

The ??? Section on the official site is for a new game set in the same universe. It isn't going to be a patch, add-on, or anything to Monster Girl Quest.

He's been recruiting staff with RPGMaker experience for well over a year now. Even if they haven't been working on anything, at least his next game will have a full team of people working on it instead of just himself (and hired artists).

Wow wait, Monster girl quest's story,gameplay and everything else(excluding CG and artwork) is just one person's effort?! :eek:

Not to belittle his work but, once he got the gameplay engine setup with the first game, it was just a matter of adjusting values (which is also why the combat is so flexible in terms of what spells you can use.)

Yes?

It's strange but I had the opposite impression.

It's true that in Chapter 3 we have a whole deal of Chimeras, but most of them are anthropomorfic (just with more tentacles... eh!), and the pletora of angels give us lots of almost vanilla sex (to end with the "heaven's whore"). I don't know of the untraslated part, but I've noticed less vore here than in the past chapters.

Compared to chapter two, in wich we had abundance of insectoid monster (duh), abominations, giants and even fat mud girls (gggghhhhh... ) this chapter is more attractive to me.

This is reminding me of a pokemon conversation I once had.
Anyways, when it comes to torotoro and his future. I hope that one day he can hire animators to spice up his CG. I really hope monster girl quest wasn't a fluke for him storywise as well. If he does anything else, it'd be sad to see the story be a subpar mashup of anime tropes I don't care about, like most anime coming out this season.(There are some gems like Majestic Prince, Shingeki No Kyojin, Gatchaman and like 3 more.)

well Torotoro's site is full of stories(most are CYOA) about monstergirls most of them written by him here's one of the bigger ones

Like I said before, if he teams up with the animators of Iris Action, they might be able to make the ultimate game of the decade.


Edit: Yeah I know, MGQ is already ultimate game(s) or some sort, but eh...ya know what I mean :p

I have a quick question. Are there any game patches made for MGQ 1 & 2 past its v1.00? Asking since MGQ 3 (v3.03 currently) has had several released for it.

Yes, there have been bugfixes by the developer. Rogue implemented them in his later partial patches.

I think this games are probably the best of our years, I'm talking about both the story and both the characters. It has got a very deep meaning and it's also funny. CGs are amazing... at least after finishing the first 2 episodes I put many expectations in the last episode. Really good work for the producers!
