So, Fighting Girl Sakura recently updated to v0.3.

Few notes.
  • Some new animations - new Skeleton, Kobold, title screen (click her), and losing clothes animations, I think. Some animations can't be seen during a stage, but can in the gallery.
  • You typically lose your clothes at 50% HP, making you pretty vulnerable. There's a new white orb at the beginning of an area which restores your clothing/HP/MP, once per area.
  • Bosses are pretty vulnerable to jump attacks.
  • Had issues with some stages for some reason. Closing and reopening the game let me continue playing.
  • Can't start up Stage 5.
  • Playing this version resulted in me being unable to play previous versions.

As a last thought, should a separate thread be made for Fighting Girl Sakura?

Game looks great after the update, but what animations can you only see in the gallery? The only ones I see are the ones I unlocked from stages, and the orcs don't even give their regular finishing animation.

Ah, for some reason, I could only see the Kobold Thief animation in the gallery. There's also some variations of the orc animation that I couldn't see. Maybe I just missed them.

damn gym clothes were never this awesome, she becomes a master martial artist when she uses it but can't even throw a decent punch without it

I'm all for easy H-games but this game is TOO easy. Just get your Mentality to around 20-25 and then pump everything into Strength. Maybe get enough Vitality so she won't lose her clothes with one attack from the sword skeleton. Get the Hurricane Kick (think its called Rolling Kick or something) and then just spam the hell out of it.

It can actually be pretty hard if you can't spam Hurricane Kick so maybe they should really nerf the Mentality stat, by a lot.

how did u get the stages started? I cant get stage 4 to start

Theres a 0.4 version as well i think that was released almost at the same time i think. Its bugfixes but dunno what it fixes.

The game no longer crashes for me like before when you kick more than two enemies at a time, this was a known bug for Windows 8 users.

Is it just me or does the 0.5 demo crash whenever I leave a stage after defeat and then try to play again?

According to the author's blog, stage 4 and later is unlocked on the full version that will be released on dlsite or whichever site the author will put up the game up once the demo is done.

NO! This rolling rock things HAVE TO GO! It is too ridiculous and when fighting bosses, makes it impossible to get a decent combo going, especially since when he doesn't make her useless in one punch, she gets hit again before she can even get up! I can't even get past stage 4 boss!

Minor update on the blog. Google translate gives this:

First sentence sounds like garglespeak, but it has DLSITE in it so..
I'm assuming that means it's gunna have a page on DLsite this Saturday.

Awwww yiss! I've been following this one closely for a long time! If I could purchase it from the Jap DL site I would. Hopefully someone shares shortly.

Weird after clicking New Game and choosing Hunt I can't even go to the stage. I can't click the start button. Mind you I'm talking about the latest demo. I plan to buy this if I fix this issue.

Ok seriously the whole moving forward when attacking is responsible for ending up getting chain attacked more times than I care to count.

Would also like to see a variation on moan sounds than the same sound. Other than that, the animation and art style is very nice. My biggest gripe is being forced to move forward when attacking. :mad:

EDIT: Ok I played that horrible demo from the first page. The most recent one is much MUCH better.
