The bathroom seems to be empty, as the professor is doing something else, likely resting, and the servants are busy after having spent most of the day not doing their chores.

The naked foxgirl bathes then, definitely taking advantage of the privacy to caress, to stroke, hands rubbing over her breasts as she tries to coax more wetness from them, tail lifting between her legs to rub at her sex. It takes a while, but she keeps working, until she finds her relief, then gets out of the tub, re-dressing and harnessing, before going to get dinner and then heading to the main lab.

The ropes eagerly coil around her, feeling quite familiar and pleasant at this point. The dinner isn't quite as good as the previous meals here have been, but the professor doesn't say much, his eyes looking somewhere far away. Finally, it's time for the experiment. The lab is in order, and the professor shuts the lights with a single command. "As yesterday, you focus on the south crystal while I focus into the north crystal. And remember, a single pulse is enough."

From the simultaneous pulse, all the crystals in the room start glowing and the glow spreads from them, making the air itself glow everywhere in the lab and quite probably reaching outside the lab, too. As before, shadowy beings start moving around, and it is as if her mind can't quite comprehend their shape as horror seems to envelope her mind. From the corner of her eye she can see that the professor seems frozen in terror.

She shudders in horror, watching the things taking form. The professor is frozen...but anything she does might make things worse. But! There has to be an abort switch, and she dives for it to try to shut the experiment down immediately

As soon as she starts moving, the beings seem to focus on her. A scream echoes from somewhere outside the lab.

Things are coming, things that should not be here...perhaps it is the wrong place he linked to! Arrenhan makes a keening wail, and then hurls a surge of power at the crystal by the Professor, trying to destroy it, tapping into her reserves to power the surge. (spending 1mp)

The power surge doesn't break the crystal, but it comes free and shatters when falling on the floor. The light goes out and there' a thud as the professor falls to the door.

Arrenhan yelps then and tries to conjure a light...hoping that the other creatures have vanished now, the experiment over. She gropes her way to the professor. "S-sir? Are you all right?" She shudders and shivers, fear reaction overtaking her.

The light flickers into being hesitantly, and it takes effort to keep it from vanishing. The professor seems unconscious, but his breathing is steady.

She murmurs softly, tugging at him, letting the ropes curl around him to help her get him out of the lab, up to the main house. Please oh please, let the others be all right...I heard a scream...let everyone still be there...

As she opens the door to the hallway, light floods in. Not far from the door, the clothes belonging to one of the servants are lying on the floor. Other servants don't seem to be nearby.

"No....this can't be happening...." She continues taking him upstairs, looking and calling out for anyone to help, but goes to his room to put him in bed. "They're gone...are they dead? Taken? S-should...should we try going after them if they were?"

One of the servants is in the professors room, curled up on the floor covering his eyes and whimpering. Johnson starts to snore quietly.

Arrenhan goes to the servant and wraps him in a hug. "They're gone. Don't worry. They're gone, and they're not coming back..."

The servant flinches at the touch as he opens his eyes. He takes one look at Arrenhan before screaming and rushing out.

This is....unexpected. She almost has the rope-demon catch him and haul him back, but...she decides against it. He was scared, but...was it her? She looks around the room for a mirror, to take a look.

There's a mirror on the dressing table. Ears, tail,...Arrenhan doesn't notice anything unusual about herself.

She frowns, at that then...maybe he's just scared in general? She writes a note to the professor, telling him hat happened, and that she's looking for servants. If he wakes up, ring the bell, and she'll come to him.

She goes out in search of the servant that fled, or others. Why did he run, after all?

A glance out of the window tells her that the servant who seemed to be scared of her is running away as fast as he can, out of the town. The other servants seem to be all in the kitchen, nervously doing little things that can be considered work and carefully not looking at her.

She stands and looks at them, then finally says, "Professor Johnson is in his bed, sleeping. I...I don't know what happened, but I stopped it...and things should get back to normal..." I hope... "I'm going to the doctor and apothecary to see if they will come to help. For now...take a break if you need to. We all need it after...whatever it was happened."
