The girl nodded, sipping her tea. "I know. There have already been too many girls that went missing due to those men. I'd hate to have thought that I'd left you to die in the cold or be found by them." she said. "Goodnight, Karen. Sleep well." she said, before Karen found her room to be a rather simple one. The bed was of simple but comfy material, not like her soft fluffy bed at all. There was no nightgown. Only what she had on. There was also an old sword and a fur coat in the room with snow boots in the closet.
With Karen having to sleep in such peasant clothing, she'd still manage to easily find rest. Her eyes closed, and her body began to heal...

When Karen awoke, it was pitch black outside. Payombi had not returned to wake her up. However, following the sound of a horse letting out a 'neigh' and galloping through the woods, with a man riding it and the figure of Payombi slouched over its back as if she were unconscious as it rode off with her, Karen would soon also notice a man standing in the doorway. The room was nearly pitch black, but there was no mistaking the fatman's form.
"It's time to finish our wedding ceremony." he stated calmly. "Your tracks were so easy to follow, your lovely feet made such fine imprints into the ground~" he cooed. "Now, I'm willing to forgive you for running away before we could seal the deal. I'm sure you want us to show that purple haired witch some mercy too. So... Be a good girl, and surrender your life to me." he stated, threatening to hurt Payombi if she didn't comply. The man held a wooden club in his hand, poised as if to strike Karen down if she tried to fight.
