Okay, counter argument commence!
Out of the 2 billion ppl in the world, how many commit or are accused of committing crimes worthy of the death penalty? Furthermore, by giving the guilty an opportunity for survival, arent we being disrespectful to the others whose lives have been changed or destroyed by these ppl? What does the life of a criminal matter to the world? We have enough ppl, its just a matter of how many of those ppl are worthy or able to exist in a social medium.

Everyone has a right to live and a right to a second chance, but some ppl arent healthy for the rest of us to be in contact with.
