What makes you play H-Games?

Hi All,

I was having this discussion with a friend at uni the other day about people's primary motivations for playing adult games, we were of differing opinions as our own experiences were different. Myself, I shamelessly admit that ever since the day I came across Jungle Girl on NG, I've been all about the h-content, yes some games have an interesting story/character, but make no mistake, I'm playing to augment my own pleasure, and frequently look for 100% saves or cheat codes just to experience all the dirty goodness.

My friend is of the opinion that H-games are more about an alternative form of mature entertainment, kind of like a 18+ movie, she says whilst some games get her hot, she is usually interested in the game based on its particular genre, ie: she loves old school SNES games, and RPGs, so RoR and RPGmaker games are alot of fun to her. We were both interested to see what the stats were amongst the ULMF community, so please, share your thoughts, when did you first get into H-Games, and what drives you to stay interested?

Text based games like Corruption of Champions along with the earlier games on the Legend Of Krystal forums started making me want to play Hentai games.

But my interest in them is about 70% for pleasure and having fun isn't something I usually have when i play hentai games.

There are a few games I have enjoyed playing despite my choice to start playing it initially for hentai. There are some games that I enjoy playing even if they have a strong focus on hentai, (Wolf's dungeon, KooooN Soft games), and there are some games in development that i might play simply because they are a lot of fun and hentai is more of a bonus.

When I first started playing adult games, I wasn't an adult, and first discovered them on newgrounds. At first, I only played them for "my viewing pleasure", but as time went on I started trying games that made me go "wtf is going on, this makes no sense..."

Eventually, I found other sites, but my main opinion didn't really change, not until I played Corruption of Champions. That was the first game I played that had what I would call good game play, story telling, and even replay value.

So, I started looking for games that had more than just the H content to offer. I found games like hnyarly's Sex Realm, Kurovadis, and LAB: Still Alive, just to name a few.

Eventually, I ended up lurking here.

Ahhh, this question. Well, to be honest, my first H game happened to actually be MGQ. Back when part 2 was just released by Rogue. Was actually talking to a friend of mine about what monsters would look like if they were humanized, ya know? So, deciding to go looking on the web, and MGQ appears. Figure I'd give it a shot, and lo and behold, it hooks me the fuck in with it's story. Probs the best storyline in any hentai game I've ever played.

So, that's how I got started, really.

At first it used to be for the hentai. But that was a long time ago. Now it's still obviously for the hentai, but also for having a game to play, and the story (if it's good).

My favourite genres of H-games is Monstergirl and RPG!
And because it is clear that one of the charms of Monstergirl genre is the exotic females, i plays these game for both the pleasure and aesthetics.

Truth to be told, the biggest reason why i adore Monstergirl games is because of how creative and sexy the concept or ideas the author could cooked up!
And it kinda nice to see how other species other than human would reproduce .

I started off with the VN for Fate/Stay night and Tsukihime because of the anime, then I discovered H-games with monster girls, and then I crossed the point of no return...

Comedy in H-games is a big plus too. Alicesoft games are amazing.

I like it best when a girl (or traps, by extension) gets degraded from a faithful, paragon of virtue, into a mindless whore, a simple slave to pleasure.

I don't have anything against females, really, and I'm a pretty docile person irl, but someway or another, seems like my fetish is kinda on the extreme end.

Oh, that reason is why I love ntr genre.

But for now, game play come first then art and story

It like asking what purpose of play video games, what used it would be for action movies, what consequence of everything we just learned, what make a man when we talked about sports or how we measure champion. Was it not that so we wont do what the consequence will be if we did or for just a preasure and fun of making dream a men can think. Definitely the content, as that is the main visual aspect of it. But it also generally has to be playable and serviceable enough to where I don't have trouble playing it. This is why I tend to dislike RPG Maker games and anything I need to translate or overtly trial and error to get through it.

Side scrollers are amazing.
