I recognize that image, but the original image doesn't have the scratch on the giant girl's hand.
Edit: That's not a proper scratching pattern. Cats do enjoy scribbling on you though. I have an "A" scratched on my arm. The ^ part is almost gone but the strike through it is pretty fresh. xP
Again I'll say I don't like the animal personality traits being associated with their anthropomorphic counterparts. Any possibility of sex would likely be painful, boring, or not even possible.
The cow girl would just stand there and be like, ".... moo..." and maybe also be eating a salad while having sex. xD
The cat girl would swish her tail at you, run, then try to claw your eyes out if you catch her, and then finally you'd have to bite her neck and force her down to have sex.

I dunno. Whether there's actual visible glue or whatever doesn't really change the fact that what I see in many of these catgirl pictures just seem to be girls with cat ears and tail stuck onto them. I mean, like the cowgirl posted above shows, I think there are more interesting ways of playing with the easthetics, making them a holistic part of the character design. The cat ears and tails just seem kinda.. well, lazy, honestly.
I don't really care about the behavioural stuff. I don't find petplay very sexy, so it's a bit irrelevant. But to each their own, and all that.

Well, simple ears and tail is kind of the bread and butter of what "cat girl" is typically thought to mean. I guess it's fair if you find that a bit too minimalist to be of much interest though.
Whilst I'm typically all up for more animalistic features if talking about monster girls or such, I do prefer my catgirls fairly vanilla myself. Either no fur, or only very lightly furred, and definitely no stark dividing hairlines that make them look like they're fancy dress boots & gloves, or anything along those lines. Face needs to be mainly human.

The nice thing about fiction is that you can pick and choose which traits you want in your cat girl. Hissing, clawing, all that crap? Ignored. Sudden submission when bit on the shoulder? That can be fun. The extra nerve bundles that make cats totally relax? Definitely keep those. Scratching near the tail and having them raise their rump in the air? Yes.
