The angel gave the metaphysical equivalent of a nod after Alberik returned her communication, but then the being shut down the link, keeping her form using any more of her energy to maintain it. Sera and Erik were clearly anxious at the slowed pace set by the other two members of their group, but the two elves remained by their side rather than go on ahead. The cold gradually seeped out of them as they traveled through the halls, and Irienys wounds faded to a dull throb that could be ignored... Mostly.

The sounds got a lot louder as they proceeded through the elven halls, but just as they were about to get near, the sounds went totally silent, save for an occasional moan, or the sound of something hitting the floor. It took them far too long for any of their tastes to track down the source of the echoing cries, and as they pushed open a door, they stepped onto the scene of both a massacre... And an orgy. bodies were strewn about, the men broken and crumpled and the women naked and violated. A dozen of the spawn and two of the massive behemoths were dead, fallen just in the doorway, but the barrier hadn't held. In the room, seven of the lesser creatures were scattered about, accompanied by two of the larger ones, and one being that none of them had seen before. It was huge, larger even than the muscular behemoths, and had long spindly arms that ended in hands no larger than those on Alberik or Sera. Its head was perfectly rounded and sat upon a too long neck, and it floated over the ground in the center of the chamber, a skirt of slimy tentacles writhing underneath it.

All of the creatures were fairly spread out, but the one in the middle of the room was fairly busy with an elven girl that it had drawn up into its skirt of tentacles. It had its back turned to their group, but the rest of the creatures seemed to have noticed them, as they were all heading straight for them. They were spread fairly thin, with the tentacled creatures ranging from twenty to sixty feet away, while one juggernaut was thirty feet, and the other fifty feet. None of the monsters were less than 10 feet apart.

Alberik blinked when the angel dropped the connection between them, taking closer note of her surroundings and noticing the way Erik and Sera seemed to be waiting on them. She made an apologetic face and tried to speed herself up some, to little avail.

They finally found their way to the scene of the fight, and surveyed the mess that had ensued. Alberik watched the scene with an expression between horror and disgust. The monsters noticed them and started towards them, and the party jumped into action as well.
"Stay put, if we can bunch them up, we'll have a better time of it!" She called out, starting to wave her hands already in the gestures she remembered. And once again, the white flame streaked out from her hand as she completed the gestures, streaking out towards the new beast in the center. She promised to do her best to help the elves of god's reach, and right now that meant saving that one woman, as quickly as possible.

Holy fire, targeted. 12EP, so 24d6 damage.

Wounds could now be ignored, her body had warmed up too. Irienys was grateful for the "break" she had just gotten from the last bloody fight. The soldier was still on pins and needles though, it would take a lot more rest to get her to relax at all. It only got worse when she began to hear moans, her heart sinking as the sounds of forbidden perverse acts filled her ears. When they reached the scene, her mouth would hag agape, eyes widely staring as the scene of sex and death. She nearly stumbled backwards and dropped her sword. This scene hammered in it was unlikely that she was going to die, but a fate the other woman were suffering seemed worse, being raped with the stench of death all around her.

"Y-... Yes, ma'am!" The girl would hold a defensive stance by the mage, fully intent on protecting her from the horrors in front of her. Her determined, angry look was just a front though, in truth she wanted to fall back and cry. This entire thing was far more traumatizing then the rape she had endured from the beast back home.

A bolt of white flame appeared from Alberik's hands and hammered into the floating monstrosity, which promptly dropped the girl that it was holding to the floor. Its attentions focused immediately upon her even as the white fire burned at its body, leaving a huge gaping hole in its chest, and ti floated ominously toward them even as the rest of the monsters swarmed toward them. Two of the tentacle covered monsters were the first to arrive, and one was cut down by the combined effort of both Sera and Erik, while another was chopped cleanly in half by Irienys. The larger creatures came next, their footsteps causing the ground beneath the group to shake. One tried to grab Sera, but the nimble woman slipped between its fingers just before they closed. The other slapped Erik back as he tried to duck under its blow, sending the man tumbling away with blood pouring from his mouth and nose, but the elf immediately got back to his feet.

Three more of the tentacled creatures approached, two of which reached toward Irienys as she moved to aid her comrades on the flanks, but she only managed to avoid one of them. Slimy tentacles wrapped around the corrupted human's leg, and almost caused her to trip as they began working their way up into her clothing. wherever they touched her, their slime seeped into her skin, forcing her body to flush with arousal despite the danger she was in. Irienys was dragged closer to its body as more tentacles began wrapping around her, going for her arms, but for the moment, she could still fight effectively enough.

Unfortunately, her allies were so distracted that they couldn't do anything to stop it as the largest of the monsters floated over them, the stench of its savagely burnt body and the shadow it left on the floor the only warning they had of its proximity. Tentacles lashed out from the skirt of them on its underside, one wrapping around each of Alberik's arms and two more around her waist. She was pulled from the floor and up into the writhing pile of slimy grey flesh, and the effects of the poison inherent in that substance immediately overwhelmed her will to fight. Arousal like nothing she had ever experienced pounded through her blood within seconds of being taken up into that sea of squirming appendages, each of them pressing against her body and allowing their slime to soak through her clothing. As they started pulling through her clothes, Alberik could feel her body responding eagerly, but some tiny sliver of her will remained. Enough, perhaps, to allow her to free herself... Or strike at the monster holding her.

Alberik managed a small smile as her attack hit true, burning a large hole in the creature she had been aiming at. It disappeared rather quickly when said creature turned around and started bearing down on her, however.

She backed up a bit to give the rest of the group more room to maneuver, watching them cut down the first of the approaching smaller monsters easily enough. The larger ones were right behind those however, hitting Erik squarely and forcing them back a bit more. Two more of the smaller things squeezed by and started after Ireinys, and Alberik decided they were all close enough.

She started again, this time throwing her arms out wide and starting to spin them together to cause another of the blasts that had worked so well before, when a tentacle whipped out and wrapped around one of her arms. She whipped her head over to try and figure where it came from, and three more landed on her, catching her other arm,the other two securing around her midriff. She managed to catch sight between the two hulking creatures of the third, smoking hole and all, before she was drawn up and pulled through the air straight into the writhing mass at it's base.

Alberik had just enough time to suck in a breath and close her mouth again before she was engulfed. The slime was everywhere immediately, glossed all over her face and inside her clothes as the mass started on her. And with the slime, came the heat. Alberik let out a long, low moan as the sensation flooded her, having to try very hard to remember what was going on and not just give in. Some shred of her willpower remains however, playing through the motions in her head, even as her body shudders and writhes, focusing the energy required and releasing it, radiating outwards from herself, instead of any nearby target.

Holy Fire, blast template. Right to the ceiling, 14Ep. Burn, mwahaha.

“Please die!” She shouted as another monster was chopped cleanly in half. The soldier would be feeling much stronger right now if she didn't feel so disgusted and terrified. When she was grappled by the slimy appendages, her face flushing as the toxin began to course through her system, a small moan escaped her lips as she squirmed. Irienys began to jerk away uncontrollably for a moment before realizing she wasn't likely to escape this way. Likely, she would only end up making this worse if she wasted time struggling in this way, as soon the other monster that had missed would have another turn, and this time, it likely wouldn't miss. Tightening the grip on her swords hilt, she swung it as the tentacles holding her in the hopes of severing them all and freeing herself. She was incredibly busy taking care of herself at the moment, but did notice the others having their own difficulty’s. Naturally, this made escaping from the creatures holding her all the more pressing, especially getting to the aid of of the lady Alberik.

Irienys manages to pull her arms away from the grasping tendrils, and slashes away at the creature attempting to rape her. Her sword nearly bisects the thing as it cuts through most of its tentacles, and it gets right on fulfilling her request as it collapses to the ground. Meanwhile, up above, Alberik unleashes the last shred of her willpower to unleash a blast of white fire, but it seems to wash over the slimy abomination holding her in the air just as it does her comrades. Her inability to concentrate properly caused the blast to have minimal effect despite the amount of power she had put into it, however, and neither of the massive beings seem to have been affected by it at all, while the tentacled ones were only singed.

Erik and Sera quickly rectified that problem, however, and both of the smaller creatures dropped... Only to be instantly replaced by the two fresh ones who hadn't been in range of Alberik's blast. Both reached for Sera, but the agile elf easily evaded the grasping tentacles. Erik, unfortunately, still seemed to be getting the short end of the stick, as both of the massive humanoids tried to smash the man down into the floor. He avoided one, but the second clipped him, and sent him reeling aside. He was still standing, but he was off balance, and the two behemoths were closing in toward him, ready to finish the man off unless he received some sort of aid.

The being that held Alberik began to work magic of its own, and the whole in its chest began to restore itself. Its tendrils wrapped around her, and as more slime coated Alberik's body, soaking completely through her clothing, she lost the last shreds of her will to the poison seeping through her system. The need for release was all she could think of as the creature's tentacles seemed to seep under her robes, and then pulled them off and tossed them aside. Every inch of her flesh was bared save that protected by her slime soaked underclothes, and the tentacles holding her rubbed with surprising softness against every inch of it, but not once so much as brushing against any of her sensitive parts, only causing the burning arousal that was consuming her to rise even further.

With almost casual slowness, tentacles hooked beneath her panties and slowly pulled them down, the garments soaked not only with the slime from the tentacles but with Alberik's juices, and tossed them aside along with her robes, leaving her totally naked and helpless within the abomination's grasp. They still continued to tease her, however, brushing near to but not quite against her womanhood, and a pair were even drawing circles around the tips of her breasts without ever actually touching them. Several brushed repeatedly against the corner of her mouth as well, intermingling with her own tentacles, but any motion on her part caused them to retreat just out of her reach.

Alberik watched the white fire was over everything, but didn't seem to work properly, despite all the energy she had saved to enact it. She did manage to catch a glimpse of the other three still fighting, so she at least knew they were still okay for the moment. Herself, on the other hand, was quite a different story...

The insidious slime worked it's way past the last of her defences, and it was like a switch had been flipped. Logic didn't work anymore, her goals didn't seem to matter compared to the fire that was burning within her. The thing slipped her clothes off her, and she felt relieved. They were a burden, she needed them off so she could have some relief, she needed to so bad.

But that relief never came. The tendrils embracing her explored every inch of her, except for those precious few she wanted them to. She moaned in frustration, straining to try and shift them to the right places, and when that didn't work, to stain against the bonds to try and grab them and move them herself, or even to cut out the middleman, anything, to no avail. They moved towards her face, and her pseudo-tentacles tried to wrap around them and draw them closer, but they shied away again, and again. In the end, she was left practically thrashing around in the creature's grasp, desperately trying to convince it to get on with it...

Okay, actions for the round. Be Horny. Yep, there we go, done XD

"Success!" The girl felt girlish glee for a few seconds when she managed to kill another monster. She kicked the dead body a bit aside, Pulling her sword back. She was doing well, she was actually strong enough to one shot these weaker monsters. Of course... There were still three other monster far too strong for her to handle alone, as she learned after a quick assess the situation. Worse, the woman she were suppose to be protecting was being raped now! Her face became pale, hands trembling at the sight. The monstrosity was so big, could she even fight it without being caught herself within seconds? Questions like this flared through the girls mind.

Irieny gulped, wanting to rush to her aid. Though a voice rang in her head, telling her she should go and help her OTHER companion. The man that was being thrashed by the two giant brutes. The one that actually helped her when she first came to this place. Alberik would live, these things didn't kill woman. Men however? Not so much.

"H-hang on!"

The soldier charges towards the mans battle, attempting to rush right in, jump, and impale her sword right into a juggernaut. She didn't expect it to take it down in just one blow like that, but prayed it sufficed as a distraction.

The battle was not going well, that was easy to tell. Sera barely avoided the tendrils of the two lesser creatures, and the elven woman was forced to dive between the two just as they made to corner her, their touch evaded only by the narrowest of margins. Irienys jabbed her sword through the side of one of the juggernauts that was closing in on Erik, impaling the creature, but the behemoth merely screamed and twisted violently. A single swat from one of its massive hands sent her tumbling away, her sword yanked from its grey flesh as she was tossed aside like a ragdoll. Pain sparked through the corrupted human's body, and for a moment she was seeing stars, but her numb mind dimly kept track of what was happening before her.

The juggernaut she hadn't distracted took a cut on its hand from Erik as it reached for the man, and with a roar it slammed its fist into his face instead. The man tumbled, and for a moment she feared that he was dead, as his face was covered in blood, but he slowly forced himself to his hands and knees, agony evident on his face and blood dribbling from his mouth and nose. His sword had been knocked from his hands by the strike, and he slowly reached toward it while the juggernaut continued toward him. But, before it could reach him, Sera screamed; "Erik! Get away from him!" And charged toward the behemoth, jabbing it in the side and at least momentarily drawings it attention. They were outnumbered, however, and none of the creatures looked to be ready to fall, while neither Irienys nor Erik could afford to take another blow.

Alberik saw none of the battle unfolding just below her. Neither did she hear any of it, even Sera's scream only a faint echo, easily overlooked. All she could feel was the fire that seemed to cover her entire body. Every inch of her body was now covered in slime, and she could feel even the slightest touch of the tentacles against her skin. The teasing she had endured for what felt like an eternity, but truthfully was only seconds seemed about to end as a pair of tendrils suddenly brushed against her folds, which by now were dripping with excitement, but their touch was almost painfully gentle. The sheer girth of it would have been enough, but the ridges along its length only intensified the pleasure as it pushed all the way into until it reached the entrance to her womb. The feeling of finally having something filling her to sate the burning need was almost orgasmic in and of itself, but still wasn't enough. Alberik writhed in the clutches of the beast. It seemed to have decided she was past trying to fight it, and declared the foreplay over. A pair of tendrils began to massage her petals, and she responded with a shudder and a sharp intake of breath. They dipped inside lightly accompanied by a shaky moan, And the woman can't help but get more frustrated at the pace they seemed to be setting.

That's when she notices the larger one lining up. She takes one look at it and moans again in anticipation, spreading her legs and leaning back in it's embrace in preparation. The slime from the two smaller tentacles mixed with her own juices, both of which were pushed deep inside her when the larger tentacle penetrated her. It was everything her lust-addled brain could hope for, and she found it hard to breath for a moment, until it began to draw out again.

The monster started to set a slow and deep rhythm, which her body hungrily took up, the multiple ridges causing a quick series of gasps with every thrust. She found what she thought to be another tentacle aiming to fill her mouth, only to find it was one of the smaller ones attached to her own face. She greedily let it in and started playing with it anyway, still hungry for anything she could get despite the fireworks she felt lower down.

As she felt her pleasure mounting higher and higher, she felt an odd sense of emptiness growing within her, as if every time the tentacle fucking her withdrew, it took a bit of her with it. She couldn't bear to focus on that though, just like the call she thought she had heard just a moment earlier. She was so close, only a few more thrusts and she knew something glorious would happen...

"S-success!" she said quickly, thinking she had perhaps managed to defeat the monster. Of course, the pounding she took soon after that smacked out any thoughts that this was a battle that could be won. No, it helped show just how bad this situation really was.

After tumbling to the ground, Irienys quickly began to stand up, raising her weapon back up. She, however, looked like a mess. Not just physically, however. She was a shaking, trembling, crying wreck, now only hardly managing to keep herself from losing it and fleeing in terror. Irienys wasn't a hardened warrior, in many aspects she was still just a girl, not even a grown adult, at least not mentally. She stood there, frozen in place for a moment, until the scream of Sera pierced her ears. It snapped her out of it, getting her to dart her eyes around the room. Things were grim. Their chances of victory was now next to nothing. The woman she was suppose to be protecting was still being raped and was no longer in her right mind, and the three warriors were on their last leg. This wasn't a shonen manga, a refusal to give up and fighting spirit wouldn't get them out of this situation. However... The soldier had an idea. An idea that might just save them.

“S-sir Erik! PLEASE, RUN! THEY DON'T KILL GIRLS, WE'LL LIVE! PLEASE, RUN AND FIND HELP! YOU CAN'T DIE!”

She cried out, begging him to listen to her. It wasn't just for tactical reasons, this man HAD helped her, she didn't want to see him die. The thought wrenched her stomach, enough to make her feel ill. More so then the thought of being used by these demons for their dark purposes.

Wanting to buy a moment of time for him to flee, despite how hurt and scared she is, she charged the most damaged Juggernaut to cleave into it once again with a single swing of her heavy broadsword.

Erik glanced up at the sound of Irienys's scream for him to flee, his face slump and barely coherent as he continued crawling toward his sword. She didn't have time to see whether he made it, however, as she charged back into combat against the abomination that had only moments ago slapped her down. Her heavy broadsword cut into its body, its grey flesh once more parting as the heavy weapon tore through its body with all of her might behind it.

It wasn't enough.

Another slap hammered into Irienys's body, sending her tumbling away and setting her ears to ring. The pain and disorientation were too severe for her to resist, and she could barely move, let alone fight as she attempted to get her bearings once more. Her vision blurry, she watched as Sera jabbed her sword into the behemoth that was advancing upon Erik. The behemoth backhanded her across the room, and turned toward the bloodied woman. Sera was trying to pick herself up off the floor, but she seemed as badly stunned as Irienys herself felt, and couldn't stand up. One of the tentacled abominations that had been chasing the elven woman around finally found her, and wrapped the stunned woman in its slimy appendages. She had to do something, now, and as she realized that, her pain seemed to momentarily wash away. Her sword was in her hands. This battle was lost, but maybe... Maybe she could do something... Anything, to hurt the ones who had so badly defeated them. Erik was picking himself up off the floor, holding his sword as blood streamed down his face, but he hadn't yet escaped. She had to buy them some time, somehow.

Up in the arms of the lord of the invaders, Alberik had no knowledge of the plight of her allies. She was too enraptured by the feeling of having her pussy violated by the slime covered tentacle that was pounding into her. Her mind gone to the winds, her body totally enraptured and her soul being stolen from her, Alberik was helpless in the creatures hands as it continued its assault upon her body. More tentacles like the one embedded inside of her had lined up, and one pressed against her puckered anus while a third slowly headed toward her face. Before she could be penetrated further, however, Alberik's body suddenly tensed, and the pleasure coursing through her body intensified a thousand fold as she was brought to an uncontrollable, shuddering climax by the appendage pounding into her. It seemed to go on forever, the relief from the effects of the slime like heaven to her as she writhed in utter ecstasy for a subjective eternity.

As she came, she was vaguely aware of her soul being torn from her body in pieces, until only a weak shimmer of her essence remained. The abomination holding her didn't seem to have finished with her yet, however, and somehow Alberik held onto enough of her consciousness following the end of her orgasm to feel the thing within her throbbing, not yet ready to release within her, but once its brethren entered her other holes it likely wouldn't take very long.

'Is this the end?'

That was her only thought as her tears and blood mixed in on the floor she had been pummeled into. The pain was worse then anything she had ever experienced. Was it possible for every ounce of your body, mind, and soul to be shrieking out in pain? Irienys didn't really know, but, she figured if it was, she had to at least be pretty close to that. She couldn't take this anymore. The soldier could only take so much abuse like this. She was just a girl, not some hardened warrior. The pressure of the entire situation was starting to send her into an anxiety attack. How did she know these things didn't kill girls after they were done using them? Who knew what kind of horrible things would be done to her? Maybe there was enough time for her to run away...

Her body twitched a few times, slowly she began to rise up for the final time, clutching her sword. Tears and blood continued to flow down her face. Her eyes darted around to assets the situation once again. Things were just as bad as they had been. Though the man she had begged to run away was trying to get away.

'If... If he gets away then maybe...'

The girl pictured a small army of elven warriors charging in to their aid for a moment, quickly slaughtering the few monsters in here and saving them all. Might that really happen?

“...”

The soldier suddenly sprints. She runs over to where the man, her only hope, stood. She would stand in the monsters path of him, holding her sword of threateningly. She would hold her ground and protect him as long as she possibly could. She was scared, she looked absolutely pathetic, she despite her human desires to run or hide she would do her best to try and protect this man whom had taken her into this complex and given her food and shelter earlier.

“You... You can do it! Keep running, don't look back! We'll... W-we'll be f-fine....”

Her voice was trembling, likely not all that convincing. She hardly believed her own words herself.

Alberik writhed in the arms of the demon lord, completely oblivious to the rest of the group on their last legs. By contrast, she felt fine, great even. Even more so once the demon pushed her over the edge, causing her to scream out in pleasure just as she felt a second thick tentacle approach her ass, and a third coming in close to her face. She was quaking in ecstasy, but her facial tendrils reached out for it, starting to wrap around it and rub along it's length.

Subconsciously, she could feel her inner self break apart and get swept away. She had the image of shrinking in her own mind, the new memories and flashes she'd uncovered so far shattering and getting swept away, the 'safe' zone in her mind shrinking smaller and smaller. The image of the ring flashed in her mind and stayed there, refusing to shatter like the others, she clung to it like a lifeline, trying to keep from being swept away with the rest of her...

Erik was only stumbling to his feet as Irienyes took up her defensive position in front of him, and while Sera was struggling ineffectively in the grasp of the slimy monster holding her in the air, the corrupted human girl attempted to buy the elven knight the time he needed to escape. He ran, as fast as his exhausted legs could take him, toward the door they had entered from, not once looking back at them. The two juggernauts roared and charged, attempting to trample their way past Irienys in order to reach the fleeing warrior.

Despite her pain and fear, however, the winged girl stood her ground, and swung her heavy sword at the creatures as they tried to push past her. One of the swings couldn't stop in time, and her blade cut off one of its legs at the knee. Tumbling and roaring, it crawled several more feet before collapsing into a lifeless heap. The other backed away, out of the reach of her weapon, and roared at her in fury, while the unoccupied tentacled alien tried to amble past her. She took its legs off just bellow its body, and its tendrils writhed and twitched for a moment before it went still as well.

Unfortunately, that attack allowed the waiting behemoth an opportunity, one that it took without a second's hesitation. Once more, a fist almost as large as her entire torso slammed into Irienys, and she crumpled to the floor, in too much pain to continue fighting anymore. Her vision began to blacken, but she watched, almost in slow motion, as Erik ran for the door. The behemoth was too far to catch him! He was free! He would survive, and would come back to save them, leading an army! Out of the corner of her eye, she saw the thing that had grabbed Alberik moving, and raising one of its unnaturally long arms toward him, white light gathering at the tip of its fingers.

In slow motion, a bolt of white fire identical to the one that Alberik had fired at it not long ago streaked out from its hand. The fire struck Erik in the small of his back and continued as if it were unimpeded, and the elf's steps faltered. Her stumbled forward, and Irienys, delirious with pain, saw the hole that had been burned through his torso. The man she had stood, and sacrificed herself to protect, fell to the floor, as limp as the monsters that Irienys had slain. His eyes were empty and lifeless, as he laid upon the floor and stared directly toward her.

Alberik saw none of this. All that the outsider could experience at this time was the ecstasy that the monster's touch was giving her. The second tendril pushed into her anus and began to pound as steadily as the first still was. The third was wrapped in her tentacles and pulled toward her mouth, the appendage writhing within her grasp and leaking a thick, white fluid across her face. The corner of her mind that she had retreated to continued to shrink as her soul was absorbed by her rapist, and her body was wracked with orgasm after orgasm as she was relentlessly pumped by the tentacles inside of her. Finally, after what felt like ages, the appendages tensed, and then began pumping her womb and bowels full of their potent semen at the same time as the one within her own tendrils began spurting its fluids all over her.

Irineys was too weak to struggle as the behemoth that still lived lifted her from the floor, and Sera was limp, her eyes glazed over with utter horror as she stared at the fallen Erik. The elven woman's clothes were removed from her body, and Irieny's already damaged leather armor was ripped completely from her body, leaving her naked as well as helpless. A cock appeared from the massive abomination's body, slowly extending outwards from its body until it was over two feet long. It lined its member up against her petals, the only lubrication the precum smeared on the tip of its titanic grey member, and began to force itself inwards as Irienys blacked out.

Pain. Irienys and Alberik awoke to pain, and nothing else. They could feel that they were not alone, at least, and as they opened their eyes, they found that they had been laid out upon the stone floor next to each other. Alberik was in the center, with Sera on her left and Irienys on her right. All three of them were heavily with child, and Alberik and Irienys were both unbelievably sore, both from the stretching caused by the supernaturally swift growth of the spawn that they carried and by the after-effects of the acts that had created them. Their bodies were weak, and Sera's eyes stared out into the room where they had been defeated without seeing, her gaze glassy and lifeless. The massive behemoth that had violated Irienys stood in the center of the room, its chest heaving, but the other two monsters were nowhere to be seen.

Alberik could feel that her energy had restored itself, and Irienys realized suddenly that her wounds had at least partially been healed, though the source of that healing was a mystery. Her armor had been destroyed, but her sword lay where it had fallen, the invaders apparently having not cared enough to take the weapon out of the room. It was at least twenty feet away, but maybe she could make it before the juggernaut noticed her consciousness once more.

In her subconscious, Alberik struggled to hold on to her lifeline as the rest of her soul disappeared around her. All too quickly, all that was left was her sense of self clinging to the image of the artifact. the edges seemed to waver and distort, then right themselves and remain solid, finally halting the advance of the blackness. It was then that she heard the voice, sounding old and weary, from very far away.
I can't aid you more than this, the nature of it forbids any more. You're one of the closest, stay strong... It said slowly. {Who are you, what's going on?} She called back, into the emptiness, but received no answer. Instead, a gush of new energy filled her, empowering the fragment left in her body with new strength, expanding the borders of her soul back past the boundaries of the artifact once more...

Alberik awoke with a start, her eyes snapping open as consciousness hit her in a rush, though it took a few seconds for the reality of her situation to set in. She stifled a groan of pain, having to bite her lip to do so. One of the larger monsters shared the room with her and her two companions. The room looked different as well, fuzzier, like it was brighter than it was before.
She noticed Irienys was awake as well, and motioned for the other woman to keep quiet. She carefully spent a bit of her energy to link their minds, sending over a question, quiet even in her mind. {Are you alright?} She asked simply, keeping eye contact until she received an answer of some kind, then turning over and looking at Sera.
The other woman's eyes were open and glassy, staring at the ceiling, but her belly was just as distended as theirs, so she held out hope that the woman was still just unconscious. Surely, if these monsters needed women for... for that, then they'd want the hosts to be in good condition, or why were herself and Irienys still fine? {Sera, wake up, are you alright?} She sent towards the woman, hoping that if she did awaken, she'd have the presence of mind to stay silent and not alert the beast in the room with them.
Finally, she reached her mind out further, looking for the minds of Erik, who she didn't see around, and of the angel she had summoned earlier. They were the only minds she knew well enough to find, that may be able to tell her what had transpired since... 'Since' would do, leave it at that...

Staying put and quiet, using telepathy to contact Irenys and try to wake up Sera, as well as reaching out to the angel, if it's still around. not entirely sure if that's all possible, so that's also the order of priority.
Costs: Also not sure, 2 initial per contact, or period? so either 2/4/6 this round, with 1/2/3 upkeep, depending on results.

There wasn't anything quite as emotionally devastating and heart wrenching then what the soldier had endured next. She had fought valiantly, she had fought through her own fear and terror. She did everything she could in the sheer pain she was in. Going through blow after blow and being knocked to the ground time after time with painful thuds. All after seeing all that death and rape, even after going through her own little crisis and having to flee her own village. After everything she had gone through in this battle, for a moment she thought she would be saved. For a moment, she thought it would soon end. All the horrible things she had gone through in just a few days would stop and she could focus on fixing her problems. That hope she felt, that very feeling, it was shattered before her eyes. Her hope was killed mercilessly as the man she had fought to protect was slaughtered right before her eyes.

That very hope being shattered. It was the most painful, devastating thing Irienys* had ever experienced. After that, her eyes stared out blankly. Her mind has essentially been broken by this. Her fighting spirit, all of it was gone. She was little more then a doll when she had been picked up by the giant and her clothing ripped off. She didn't speak, she didn't blink, she didn't even worm in a pathetic attempt at fighting back. No, her glazed over eyes only stared off into space as she was penetrated and rendered unconcious.

Things weren't any better when Irienys* had awoken. Feeling the growth inside her own body quickly made things worse. Tears silently streaked down her cheeks as she stared off into space. She was motionless. Broken. She couldn't move on her own. No, she didn't have the will. When a mental link was opened between her and Alberik, just like it had been with Alberik and Sera, someone whom Irienys couldn't even begin to think of right now, there wasn't any answer outright. The soldier didn't even realize she was being spoken to. The question just... Appeared. Show up up in her shattered psyche. Very quietly, she finally would response. Five words, whispered out, just barely loud enough for Alberik to hear.

"I want to die now."

She didn't sound alive, her voice was monotone. Like that of a zombie.

She remembered her old life, times before things had gone to hell. Before she had been put through all of this. She felt she knew things could never possibly return to normal. In all likelihood they wouldn't. Nay, even if she got out of her, even if she never saw another monster or demon again, she would never forget this. She would never forget the sight of Erik's dead eyes staring into her own. It would never go away. It would forever haunt her. It would forever torment her. Heart wrenching pain, absolute despair, it was just so much for some bumpkin girl to handle. Her only desires were of death and peace now. Her flame had been extinguished.

The only hope of her getting up and doing anything was Alberik. Unless she could say or do something to get her body to move, she would just lay there, wishing for death.

{Just think, and I'll pick up on it, please.} Alberik answers quickly, then lets out the mental equivalent of a pained sigh. {I... I know. Me too, I think, but... We just can't, alright?} She explains, looking over at the beast in the room to make sure it wasn't looking before taking her hand and give it a squeeze. {I hate to have to ask, but... what happened? Once that thing got me... There just wasn't anything else, I couldn't focus at all...}

There was another pause. She was silent again, verbally and mentally. Though after a few moments, Alberik would pick up thoughts. Perhaps it was that hand squeeze that did the trick.

'I failed... Erik ran away to find help... And I couldn't...'

Her tears began to flow even more, becoming bigger and faster.

'Protect him. He died. I looked into his eyes... There wasn't life in them. I'm a failure... I couldn't do anything to help anyone. All for nothing...'
