Have you ever tried to type in google *hentai free download*?
Nowadays any student can create a website exclusively for piracy, and you have no way to fight them.
95% of the games appears on free sites in a few days.
We are already in 2012. Welcome to IT world.

And useful information like walkthoughs = significant advantage compared to the other hentai4d-sharing-pastebin-free-hentai-blah-blah-blah shitty resources.
Just because they attract players. More players = more support for developer.
if I like the game and I believe that the author has put a lot of effort into game, i'll buy it.

Even more, any nice reviews for paid games, if there is no free download links for those games, must be paid by developer.
Advertising costs a lot of money.
Yep, any paid-game-developer would be happy with free advertising, but only 5% actually deserve this.

1.Open DLsite.
2.Find any game series with following condition. Previous stuff contained no protection, but new stuff with Dlsite protection.
3.Compare the number of downloads. Hell, they're actually near similiar.
Why? Because some nice guys who have downloaded and played for free, eagerly bought stuff for updates.
Or simply because they want to support the author. And new games with protection were bought by the same people.

A concrete example.
I have an old version of Lady Dungeon, i downloaded it for free, yeah, piracy-piracy.
But i'll buy new, updated version from dlsite. Because I liked the game, I want to see new content, and i want to see new games from Vincent circle.

Too be blatantly honest here Starke, thats a very bad idea, the concept is good but its frowned upon by "society" since piracy is illegal and USA is very anal about the whole thing they could prosecute you for:
"conspiracy to commit racketeering, conspiracy to commit copyright infrgingement, conspiaracy to commit money laundering and criminal copright infringement"
Just as they did to Megaupload (sadly :C ) because someone would pick up on your comment "and all the content would be available for "free"." and deem you as a conspirator and the FBI could be hot on your ass (assuming they actually bother with small amounts of piracy to the porn industry).

I would actually rethink your choice of words and probably think over your idea cause right now you would be deemed a criminal on a larger scale than anyone on this forum because you are distributing games on a fair scale and with this upcoming website (if it does take off) you would confirm the whole "criminal" title, dont get me wrong i love "free" stuff, I'm not a leech cause I do end up buying alot of games that I pirated cause I liked them, but this website idea of yours and others is probably going to get you guys into some deep shit that you guys don't want in the future. It's a great idea I love it but with the on going shit about piracy and what not, its risky business and you should probably re-evaluate your idea or just give it up.

Why don't we just create a Hentai game reviews and Hentai game guides sub-forum here? We used to have a guides thread, but the creator deleted it. There is no need to create a new website (for the game reviews and guides), when we already have the community and resources here. It's free too.

Why are people still discussing the piracy aspect? It was scratched like... 30 posts ago. We already decided to make an informational website only.

HOWEVER, since so many people were against it in any form or shape, I've decided to make such website on pending admission, meaning, we will decide who will be wanted in such community or not, thanks for voicing your opinions.

The website will be called GameFUCKs, kudos for whoever gets the reference.

GameFUCKs...Hmm i get the reference but somehow it's not a very original name,and it just lacks the necessary impact(at least in my opinion...)...

Good idea and all, but this has been done before. Look at all the now defunct blogs that had all the games, and are now just shut down. There are already sites that do exactly what you want to do (that I will not name so as to not promote their trash).

In the end though, its not worth your trouble. Trust me on this one it is not worth the trouble you will get into if it all hits the fan.

What I would offer as an alternative is to make a new RPG Maker sub-forum and contain everything you need in there instead. Seeing as how downloads aren't usually to difficult to find by just googling the dlsite id# or the game's name, I wouldn't suggest putting download links in the threads. Instead, put the walk-throughs, screenshots, game info and dlsite purchase links in the thread and offer the support to the maker. Leave the decision to pirate to the users because they'll do that themselves regardless.

We already decided to make an informational website only.

Just use a wiki. Like the one in my sig.
They will be more accurate and up-to-date than forum posts or things that require validation.

The problem with the one in my sig is that it's free, and not hosted by me, and therefore I can't just upload save files or whatever I want.

But if you host your own wiki it is not an issue. Plus you can add all sorts of nice widgets.

The ones that come up with ideas and follow through with the execution are usually the ones that get rich. I usually only come up with the ideas, and am not particularly interested in managing such a project...

Well my opinion is the same as most of them.

A Website with Collection from RPG Maker Games, which contains:

- Walktroughs
- Translations
- Screenshots
- Filemaps etc...

would be really nice, since i tried it once with a "Hentai Book" (you may remember it), but it can be lost pretty fast if things go wrong and the size
and overview is bad.
So a website would be far better if you consider it like this.
But that means a lot of work.

Positiv is of course:
- no offense against the Developer, but even more advertisement
- nice overview / database for games like this, cause there is no other

Negativ, more or less:
- cant really do it alone, way to much work
- need to be acessable and changeable for leadmembers

Donations still can be gained for the webhost and work.
If you want to get works from developer you can try to talk to them.
Like: "I present the people your work, if you give me your permission from older games, so your company will be advertised more."

They may accept for free Games, cause advertisement is much better than keeping an old game which downloads only 1 / month.
Maybe they even take the game again if it is that popular and make further updates to it.

The way I'm going to structure it is, I'll have to find a team (obvious part).

I'll start by working on games that get released, and on dead times, work on older games, reviews, screenshots, MAYBE walkthrough's for the people's favorites, review the walkthroughs of my team and voilá.

Etigoya would be perfect for this, and while we understand what he says clear enough 99% of the times, I don't think he can write a overdetailed walkthrough in English xD

So it'd be ULMF with better file hosting combined with GameFAQs?

I'm not sure whether I'm confused or simply not seeing the point.

It will be just gamefaqs, no forum, all discussion will remain here. Also, NO COPYRIGHT INFRINGIMENTS

I would also recommend that you try to get developers involved in it. I currently host a blog on blogspot that generates 300-500 views per day. The only reason while it's on blogspot is because it's free. I'm not sure if there's free blogging software like phpBB for forums, but if you could get a functional interface on the page I'd be glad to move my blog onto the website.

Hell, if you put the normal legal boundaries into it (ie no loli, piracy, etc) you could even do advertising to make it self-sufficient at least, if not directly profitable.

Seyser, KIT, rain and other english developers might be interested as well. I'm haven't at all talked to them about it but it would be an interesting direction to take the site.
