RPG Ci-En Active RPG Maker Loli [ゆう] 世間知らずの猫エルーシャ / Naive Cat Erusha

After approximately two hundred years of being trapped in the 0.2 range for trial versions, I was very much blindsided by the blog update today.

The next update will be August 31st.
It has taken a long time to get here, but there's only a little left to go.
The plan is to work hard next month, and if everything stays on schedule, to finish the Gallery and End Credits the month after! Thanks for your support!!!

Maybe I'm just being overly optimistic and reading too much into what this says, but is this a sign that this game is finally clawing its way out of the eternal abyss that is Ci-En development?

I don't think it's that close yet. I've been playing the demos as they come out and there are still a number of inaccessible areas and a bunch of unimplemented quests. There is also the devs love to add side ero-events (which is great) and handmake massive maps(especially indoors you have never seen so many god damn doors before)

Dev could possibly just be working on recollection room now so it wont be an issue down the line, and the end credits perhaps because there are already finished routes (though I don't believe any routes in the demo make it to the end)

The demo is much bigger now than when I made the guides in this post. Probably twice more events and, of course, twice more huge fucking maps that are difficult to find your way around. Even if it takes longer I always love to see more things added, but if or when the game is finally reaching the finish line that would be great too

And I'd love a recollection area. My save folder is now over 100 saves as I saved for the amount of various routes and events, and mind you that's the contents of a demo version. The dev had to increase the save limit a few times lol

I was actually planning on releasing sometime next month, but because of the sloppy way I've been working, a lot of bugs have cropped up. Fixing and testing will take a lot of time, so a December release is going to be rather difficult.
I've tested each of the events added to the Gallery one by one, but I haven't checked viewing the events in succession, so there's a possibility viewing multiple events in a row will cause some of the flags to break.

I won't be able to release the game this year, but all that remains is bug fixing, some item events, and then adjustments to other events, so everything should be finished by Spring.

So not much longer to go now. And probably there isn't going to be a whole lot in the full release beyond what's in these demos, if anything at all.

Also the latest demo (0.266) has the finished Gallery, so that should save all of us who have been keeping multiple dozens of save files.

yea no wonder I played a demo a few months ago and a lot of events seemed bugged or not properly implemented, for example you could get captured by a random guy with a house in the middle of buttfuck nowhere, but you could simply walk away and progress the story and never see him again?
And the cultist event couldn't progress past a certain point
How's the current demo?
I know I can't expect a bug-free experience, but can I at least make the events work if i don't try too hard to break them?
and how far can we go in the main story?

for example if i reload after watching an event? like doing a virgin run of sorts

one more question are there bad endings? or do you HAVE to eventually escape from confinement to progress the story?

thank you for bringing this to our attention: seems very promising.

man though, that description just reminds me how cursed we all are lol
the OP is pure gold
very promising game indeed

There are fourteen endings listed in the Gallery (you can't view them in the trial though). The vast majority of which seem to be bad endings. You can very definitely game over. In fact, it is surprisingly easy to hit them. Turns out being a small cat girl in a world that really likes small cat girls isn't all that safe.

I haven't spent any time in the new demo except to confirm the gallery works, but from what I recall of older versions basically everything is accessible except for the Endings cutscenes. There's a small chunk of stuff listed in the gallery under "to be updated later", but the vast majority of content seems open to be explored. Actually finding that content in game can sometimes prove to be a challenge though.
