Exactly my point, though. As a level 1 Villager, he hasn't unlocked any of the villager immunity feats. As "villager" is a starting class, you're meant to be able to transition out of it, thus many of the abilities and skills of a villager are gated off to new players, both to keep from overwhelming them and to give them a sense of progress. Thus, Villager has clearly not yet unlocked the pommel immunity feat.

Or, wait, which system are we using again? I forgot - *knocks over dozens of rulebooks*

Ah, true, but have you forgotten the one skill tree villagers start maxed out? Shovels :3 *researches AoE2 sappers, loom, steals Spanish villager buffs*
...wait, did I just increase Woodlelewd too o_O
