What's new

ACT [Kyrieru] Eroico (RE115470)

Any updates on Noakia? I'm afraid I haven't checked the blog in a while.

Not yet; will be pretty obvious on ULMF when Noaika get's released I think lol.

"One Winged Angel" will start playing to be heard by everyone in the world?

I think it's more like the forum crashing from so many people being banned for linkbegging at once XD

Huh, didnt know steam supported adult content until i just now found the ON button for adult content. Glad to see Eroico on steam! Now i can support you far more easily from a familiar and safe platform.

Looks like some new people are getting a taste of the Eroico challenge.

I'm actually kind of curious about people's views on this.
Now that we've all beat the game and whatnot. Looking back how do you guys feel about how hard the game is?

I never understood peoples who give up as soon as they encounter any road blocks. I mean, it's not like you're expected to pass it on your first try.
Practice is the only medicine to getting good. Even the greatest players have to go through that.

I don't remember this game being all that frustrating or overly difficult. Then again I'm not a dumbass that set the game to the highest difficulty level then posted a steam review whining about it being too hard.

It's not particularly hard once you figure out how to do it. Like older platformers, it's about trial, repetition, and application. Sounds like a salty millennial who never cut his teeth on games that don't hold your hand.

EDIT:

"Mario-esque."

What a scrublord.

PFFFTTT.... they think this sh*t is hard?! they should play the old version when the world 2 have that one room where you need to air jump using attack button and time it perfectly all the way to the top, and if you miss once you need to climb all the way from the start. that sh*t is a pure frustration, took me like 30 minute straight for the first time. the new one have that room completely nerfed.
seriously, people complain alot about how game are too hard for them... DUH, this game meant to be a hard and challenging game after all, it's platformer game ffs, have you ever play the old time megaman?
he/she even complain how harder difficulty just too hard. does he/she understand the term "harder difficulty"?.
Funny thought: you should be forced to beat Fairy fighting before you can comment on an H-game's difficulty.
jesus dude, you're talking a pure nightmare right there

I was actually a little disappointed going through the new room in the newer versions. I had trained myself to be able to get through that and I go to newer versions and there's just platforms everywhere.

I've played hard as fuck games since the NES days, late 80s. Adventure Island is literal torture. Only hard part about Eroica was that jumping part where you had to use that tedious sword+jump manoeuvre to elevate to the higher platforms. Other than that it was a decent challenge, but not too hard.

If you're used to playing platformers this game is difficult enough to entertain but not enough to be frustrating. I feel like for really casual gamers it's a steep learning curve. Like near pixel perfect jumps aren't that bad but for someone who hasn't done one before to experience something like that in they're porn might be frustrating lmao.

I definitely considered this game difficult. Some of those jumping blocks had to be timed so perfectly, and the monsters were pretty powerful. I wasn't exactly patient with it. I felt the same way about Aster. Very tough, but all around good games.
