I've put in the request for the sub-section to the admins. They've been kind of slow to respond to my other requests for other additions, but given the urgency for this, I'll start hounding them a lot harder about putting this in.

In the meantime, I'd like to hear from you guys some stuff you'd like to see in the section. It could be stuff like what kinds of prefixes you'd like for threads made there, what kind of posting guidelines or templates they should follow, posting etiquette, possible stickied topics, and any other things regarding what your needs might be. I'll try to establish some baseline rules for now, but if you have any suggestions, I'm all ears.

Also, if you'd like, please let me know if anybody would like to volunteer to help moderate that sub-section. I can do it myself, but as others have pointed out, it would be much better if somebody who is more in tune with the community needs were there as well.

Edit - Scratch that. The Mugen section is now open. I'll move this thread over there and populate it with some general threads, but feel free to offer suggestions.

As far as ideas go - I'd say we could use a a sub-section (if at all possible) for releases and one for media like videos. Questions and discussion can go in the main area. As for tags... all I can think of right off the top of my head would be a "Character" and a "Stage" tag for releases, though I don't think it's all too necessary really. Sticky posts, hmm. We should probably make a post linking to @gettagmk2 's starter version (if he's okay with that) as well as a couple basic instructions on how to set certain stuff up. Someone would need to set that up. I could, though probably not immediately.

Then maybe an Subforum for Victims release and Aggressor release.
Although Aggressors will be likely be very few in number when compared to victims. Its always just been like this lol.

Well, we shouldn't exactly copy Mugen Archive, but probably the most common complaints I've heard is how certain characters are sorted. So character tags should probably be two-staged.

-First Tag: Aggressor, Victim, or Both
-Second Tag: Straight, Futa, Yaoi, Yuri, or Hybrid (maybe also Monster/Alien/Inanimate/Ambiguous/Genderless)

Again, probably the biggest complaint I've heard probably deals the female aggressors and how there are about a million different futas but very few non-futa lesbian-type aggressors.

If possible two tags are certainly a good idea, but I would make it simpler:
First Tag: Male, Female, Futa, Monster, ...
Second Tag: Aggressor, Victim, Both

Basically all victim characters can be pounded by a male character, a futa, a monster or a female character with a strap-on, so you cannot clearly seperate them into straight or yuri.

Yeahhhh I'd like to add that the one HUGE complaint I have with Mugenarchive is the one that we've been griping about for the past two weeks. Character spam. It's fine to warehouse characters, but when they're the exact same character with no credit being given to authors or updated changes, it becomes a miasma. I know this new forum section won't be a repository, but my opinion is that we should be careful about spamming our 'releases' section with the same character without changelogs or author cred.

Also @xionfenix , thanks for speaking up against that ****poster, as he's the reason why mugenarchive is cancer right now. I liked your posts/disliked his, haha. I honestly have no idea what that guy is trying to do. Nobody likes him, everyone is speaking out against him in comments and negs...does he really think he's doing good there?

I also think it'd be great if someone who has access to the mugen content creators' Tumblrs can contact those guys/gals and direct them to our community. There are quite a few H-mugen creators on Tumblr and as they jump ship, it'd be nice to gather them all to collaborate or share their work or gain publicity/reputation for their Patreons here. Some like to work solo or privately, but at the very least, we can see what they're doing here if so (by updating their information on a sticky or something).

It was more than necessary... We can only hope that he'll stop for good, but we'll have to see. That being said - MA is cancer altogether and as far as I am concerned I am going to stop posting anything I have on there. The admins don't care shite about anything unless someone speaks out against their retard weekends that serve absolutely no purpose.

About that base info sticky post thing I talked about - Does anyone wanna make it, or should I get to it when I get back up later, or tomorrow? (I'll probably take a nap soon). I mean I don't mind at all. I don't give as much back to the communityas I'd like to and it's the least I could do. Just let me know if anyone else would rather do it before then, though.
As far as spammage goes - I'm gonna make a singular release thread for all the stuff I am going to release eventually that I will keep updating and bumping when there's new things instead of creating a new topic for each. All that's mine is gonna go in there.

I reported him weeks ago for something he said to me on mugen archive (Fraudrin on there) but the mods or admins haven't even looked at it, lol. I wouldn't be surprised if he reported me for something I've said, and then they act on the report.

As far as admins and posting rules I will leave that to a few people here that I think would do a good job
edit: one idea I like from MA that some places don't do sometimes is I think it would be a good idea just to have a single picture of the character at least.

I am not well-versed with the Tumblr community, but perhaps someone who is could make an informational thread of (former) Tumblr devs and what characters they made while the Tumblr fallout is still fresh in your minds? Not my mind, honestly.

So in my opinion, I think Someone92's suggestion is probably the cleanest implementation. Using his layout as a baseline and adding in everybody else's suggestions in, this is how I'm going to set the place up right now:

1. Mugen Section
   1. Base section for general discussion. Media can be placed here, and other general discussion threads will be located here. Personally, I feel that tech issues could probably just stay in here for now, unless you guys anticipate that there are going to be enough threads about tech issues to warrant its own sub-subsection.
   2. Current tags in this section are:
      1. First order tags - Discussion / Media / Guide / Tech Issues
2. Mugen Content
   1. Subsection. I currently have it set up so that each thread is its own singular entity (character or stage). The reason for this is because from what I'm gathering, there's a much larger volume of characters being discussed than stuff like stages. If that's the case, then there isn't really a need to have a sub-subsection for characters only and stages only. If I'm wrong, then we can go with sub-subsections instead.
   2. The current tags in this section are:
      1. First order tags- Character / Stage
      2. Second order tags (For use if character only) - Victim / Aggressor / Both
      3. Third order tags (For use if character only) - Male / Female / Futa / Creature
      4. Fourth order tags (For use if character only) - Yuri / Yaoi

Still not entirely sure where you guys would like just general creator threads, though. I can see that there's already one in the sub-section already, so I guess there then?

In the meantime, I'm going to spend some time laying out some general ground rules, maybe some title formatting. Since you guys have pretty much never really been a problem these past couple years, I don't see me having to put up really strict rules like I have been in the H-Games section.

I do not think enough stages will be shared to warrant a separate sub forum, so to squeezing them into the character sub forum makes the most sense.

In the "Mugen Content" subsection a sticky not with rules but with a guideline how a good OP for a character thread would look like, e.g. it should contain a picture of the character, a general discription, a command list inside a spoiler, and if an aggressor link(s) to victim(s) the creator has tested the aggressor with.

Ugh. Maxgooddog's done with mugen, due to the Tumblr ban. He was working on one of my most wanted characters (Powergirl) and was basically the only creator actually considering using my most wanted sexual position (paizuri, which, to my knowledge, no character really has other than Tifa). Damn it, damn it, damn it....

Anyway, yeah, the structure for this thread/forum looks good, thanks. I'll probably need to get my mind wrapped around it, since even though it's better organized, I'm just used to posting here.

Also, to @Fenril's point, I think hentaicharmugen has posted a list on Tumblr of the current/former Tumblr H-mugen creators, so I'll share that soon so we can keep contact and/or maintain a list (which I alluded to in a previous post as well).

Speaking of which - I thought that Anthimus would've learned after all those comments - and even a mod stepping in - on that donghwan but NOPE. They're back to posting garbage again. Yeah I am so done with that site. None of my stuff will go there anymore and I don't want anyone else to put my stuff there. I'd remove what's already on there if I could but once you surrender your files you have no rights over them anymore it seems :')

Well, downside for switching from mugenarchive to here would be..... No loli policy I guess.
At least for me, that is.

Len, Kira, Ranou, Hamir, Angelica, Lilith and specially.... specially Nayu.
MUGEN got some quite of juicy loli characters bursting with power of "moe" and "sexy".
It would be shame to not have it here if you ask me.

I'm still unable to find latest Nayu's R-18 edits with updated new sprites until this day.
I only see some one that use old sprites at mugenarchive, wonder if anyone know such thing exists.....
