If you have your character set up in a way that lets people use their own animations defined in the victim's air file if it exists I see no problem with it, really. Unless it's using existing animation numbers.

That's how I want to make it now for already existing characters like Link and Spiderman. But DDC is another story since a lot of his animations are unique to him.

Yush! I have some unique animations myself on my Umbreon (that no one ever bothered making victims for T_ T) but what I mean is this kind of thing:

trigger1 = selfanimexist(140000) = 0
value = 140000

Edit: On a sidenote - was fed up and left a comment on one of anthimus' uploads. He has yet to respond but I love how bison replied in the way he did... basically the pot calling the kettle black lol. It's not like he's any better than anthimus is.

Only SOME moves use the selfanimexist commands, I do have to review most of the moves, especially the older ones to make them work better on the sides of the stage. Otherwise they sometimes end up misaligning the assets. Once I review those moves, I will try to add as many selfanimexist as I can.

To comment on what's happening on MugenArchives, that's also why I try to avoid it as much as I can. If I find one of my major characters there, I will most likely ask for it to be taken off (especially DDC). I just want to avoid those sorts of things and I prefer to have people come to my blog for questions. I'm one of those guys who checks his page every 30 mins to see if there's a new comment lol.

Very understandable and I recommend keeping it that way. My Umbreon is already on there but... if I make more in the future I'll probably not upload it on mugenarchives. The place is a cancerous cesspool of ignorants and bigots.

I did test out your umbreon when you first released it here, good job on that, he's pretty cute and has nice knotting animations .

Why thank you! From what I've seen your DDC looks really good, too. I mentioned this before but I do plan on making a male agressor, but I will need sprites to do it (that I am once again going to commission since I can't draw or pixel myself). He'll start out with the simple moves and get some unique ones later on. It's probably gonna be a while before the first release is out though.

I'm done with mugenarchive. Anthimus is a new form of pollution while Bisonshadaloo has the nerve to share stolen imgbbs sprites (redistributed w/o permission) to the same image board as stage edits. Heck, even Fc2 is being flooded with videos tagged with mugen but is not really about mugen. I check fc2 regularly, hoping to watch new stuff from mugen ero and horuakuti, with the latter saying he will share saki once he's done with new poses. Dark Age for 18+ mugen imo

It honestly depends, I try to use the same animation number as Kuromaru when possible. For DDC, only some moves would be compatible with females. For example, he can use the tentacle trap, he has a move that works with the Stuck in the wall, Doggy, Pyrarmid, etc. DDC's made for males in mind but I also made it so that he shouldn't use moves that characters aren't compatible with in watch mode. (I also don't really share him outside of my blog to avoid the current issue with Kuromaru where there's a million version going around using different animation numbers and all that.)

For other character like Link, I added the Wolk fuck that simply uses doggy sprites, the manual milking uses doggy sprites too (it would only make sense on futa characters I guess though). Another move he has is a finisher that involves making an animation with the Clothes Cut (A simple move where the character is sent flying with their clothes tearing) and the Super sex position (I know, kinda weird name) the position is fairly simple to make but no other characters except DDC and the Goku from TheBlueKim uses those sprites. I'm planning to add a Mindcontrol move to Link using the dominion rod at some point too.

Spiderman will be made this weekend, but basically, if a character has the stuck in the wall sprites, you should be good to go .

I only recently started adding top moves to characters besides DDC so there only are a few at the moment. All of Link's top moves are freely available at the moment while spiderman will be released this weekend but only to patrons at first. He'll be available for free in January.

That's why I was saying a subforum could be useful for me here, I can talk about my works, mostly top for those who only want that while those who want to see the full yaoi stuff, they can head over to my blog using the link in my signature. ^^

Meh. Mugen is way better off than it was a few yrs ago as far as 18+ content goes and MA has always been pretty iffy. 99% of the stuff on fc2 never gets released so the lack of videos is no big loss to me either. The real gripe for me is that no one tries to really innovate in terms of mechanics besides horukuati and gettag. Im gonna shoot myself if i see 1 more futa clone

Thanks, I do plan on adding more when I get the chance! Link is my most work on character so he'll definitely see more updates.

You know... about MUGEN getting its own section... I think now would be the right time lol. Seeing how tumblr basically announced its own death today and mugenarchive being the toxic cesspool that it is MUGEN creators have no real place to go anymore. We should grab everyone that we can and make them a home here. And hope that it works out for once. >_>

However, with the death of Tumblr (well, the adult part of it), I actually think it might be helpful to have an outlet for H-mugen creators here, and may be a good way for us to communicate with them. In fact, we can collaborate and offer up exactly what we're looking for and perhaps share resources. Like, I've been personally editing @gettagmk2's characters and cleaning up some of the behind-the-scenes stuff, but I'd be thrilled if he were to use or make use of some of my edits.

At the very least, it allows us to keep track of those Tumblr orphans until they find a new home somewhere.

It's killing tumblr as a whole really. It's the majority of what it's used for. Traffic will plummet and it will turn into a small platform no one cares about except SJWs that yell at each other all day long for pissing in each other's soup.
Also, instead of offering them a place until they find a new home - why not just make this their home? :3
If MUGEN does get a decent subsection, what else could one want, really? For now, let's just hope it actually gets one because as @Ericridge mentioned, this has now become very necessary.

Its too early to say anything 100% definitively. However, Tumblr will die overnight without NSFW, and its hard to imagine that they don't know that. There is still a chance that Tumblr will reverse course or only implement a partial ban.

Alternatively, because there is currently nothing functionally similar to Tumblr (with significant popularity), there's a very high chance that if Tumblr commits suicide Bumblr or Jumblr or whatever will pop up overnight to take its place (just like what happens whenever the top torrent site gets axed).

I've put in the request for the sub-section to the admins. They've been kind of slow to respond to my other requests for other additions, but given the urgency for this, I'll start hounding them a lot harder about putting this in.

In the meantime, I'd like to hear from you guys some stuff you'd like to see in the section. It could be stuff like what kinds of prefixes you'd like for threads made there, what kind of posting guidelines or templates they should follow, posting etiquette, possible stickied topics, and any other things regarding what your needs might be. I'll try to establish some baseline rules for now, but if you have any suggestions, I'm all ears.

Also, if you'd like, please let me know if anybody would like to volunteer to help moderate that sub-section. I can do it myself, but as others have pointed out, it would be much better if somebody who is more in tune with the community needs were there as well.

Edit - Scratch that. The Mugen section is now open. I'll move this thread over there and populate it with some general threads, but feel free to offer suggestions.
