Correct. エッジダガー (Edge Dagger) is crafted from all the other Genocide-only weapons. Here is the recipe:

Equipment: use anything you see fit, at this point it doesn't matter much, actually.

Stats: maximize MP and MATK and learn MP regeneration.

Spells: as I've said before, maximize Lightning magic and learn Frozen.

With that set you should deal 200+ damage per strike + have a good chance to stun her for a turn or two. Good luck.
I will record the battle with her later.

Yeah, this weapon is hands down the best in the game for almost everything, the flexibility it offers is amazing.
Rocket Launcher rocks for EX bosses tho.

MEGA gives DECODER_ERROR_NOT_SUPPORTED: video decoder initialization failed. PS: and any other vid in Video Walkthrough folder fails to play as well. Guess MEGA hates me.

MEGA hates H.264, to be precise. Just download the video and play it on your machine using any modern video player, such as this:

Well, I somehow landed a True Mercy completion semi-blindly on my first run (Only time I used a guide was for making sure I didn’t screw up the Hyakki intervention). Wed Mother Rabbit and can‘t claim I regret it. Only time I was pulling my hair out was the Samuel fight, and that was because I was an idiot and didn’t realize that I had no weapon equipped because the Linear Cannon was unequipped and left a blank slot. Overall, I can say that the game is hard, but not unfair. If you prepare correctly, the game will cooperate. If you just go from one chapter to the next willy nilly, prepare to die. A lot.

IIRC there is a sheep who warns you about that right before the boss fight.

Unless you changed that video since the post, that's false.
The issue is H.264, not MEGA. The video plays back without a problem, as long as your browser supports it.
So the only problem would be your browser not supporting H.264 due to Intellectual Slavery bullshit.

i totally appreciatte EVERY attempt you have made to help me. i am still stuck. i see what i have to do, but my game is not letting me have those combinations of weapons and magic. the dagger is not available for me to purchase and i do not have it in my inventory. anyway i can send you a save and you can adjust it for me so i am ready to battle this unstoppable beast?! lol

...just so we're on the same page: as I clearly stated, it's a synthesis weapon, not a bought one.
As most of those unlock with both chapter progress *and* having components, if you aren't on Genocide route and/or failed to kill someone (as, again, this dagger requires likely *all* of the previous...well, six of them to be exact), it might not be there in the synthesis menu.

If he's fighting Hyakki he is definitely on Genocide route. And I doubt that there is a way to miss a kill on that route (not going to test that tho, feel free to prove me wrong).
There is one possible way of not having the dagger available for crafting - the menu isn't checking the equipped items - he would need to unequip his weapon before a crafting attempt.

Actually, AFAICT, that particular recipe is activated only in chapter 4-3.
