Webcomics I'm currently reading, all of which I've read through the archives and gotten up to the current page on... yeah, I should really take my time with the archives... I read them in 2-3 nights each >.<

I'll go ahead and mention . Somewhat Harry Potter based, in the sense of a magical boarding school, but certainly distinct. Link goes to page one.

Actually, the chool isn't magic based. Magic is the domain of the forest across from the school. The school is science based. (In the B-rated movie sense)

Well. That's certainly true. With the ghosts and various abilities that Kat's parents have because of the stones, I figured it would be easiest to summarize by saying 'magical boarding school.'

Well, the stones aren't much used early on, and I think the stones may be more aligned with the forest anyway.

Re: Webcomics of win

You are right. I was being lazy in my description. "Boarding school dedicated to research into the magical sciences" perhaps?

Meh, just say it has a good art style and if they want to know more about it, they should read it.

Re: Webcomics of win

has started back up again. i recommend it for some turn based fantasy strategy action.
And one phrase for people not convinced:

"The enemy can see nothing else in this hex..."

Best. Distraction. Ever.

Read through archives yesterday, declared full of win upon reaching #192 and successfully queuing up the correct song on my iPod for the following pages. Not that it wasn't fairly obvious which song it would be, but it was very well pulled off all the same.

Old post is old.

ANYWAYS.

I mentioned this comic in another thread, but I feel I should mention the whole thing here.

It's made by Shamus Young, the same guy who does .
The comic itself is 144 pages. There's 156 pages total.
It's pretty much LotR if it was run as a campaign during a D&D session.
Definitely worth a look.

I saw DM of the Rings a while ago on TV Tropes, didn't really think much of it though. Darths and Droids I've yet to look into, but I probably won't anytime soon.

I was highly confused. Until I saw the writer was a 5 year old. Then it made perfect sense.
