Yeah. Those are the short animations I thought they were going to use for cut-ins when you use specials, or get H'd.

?? I feel you may have misunderstood my gripe with their previous games.
I don't like the animation attacks of their previous games. The side-ways view with the, imo, poor animations.

I'm more of a fan of Circle Kame combat interface, but with cut-ins for moves.

Yes. That is the animation type I am against. Although, just this one looks better than like 90% of their previous slash attacks.

You gotta scroll down a bit from their comic post and you'll find it. In my opinion, from what you see right now is the gif, but whenever such animation is ported into the game, the quality of it drops. There's also the recieved attack animation that's also shown on their ci-en post that looks a bit over the top in my opinion...
 
Been a while since i updated this, but i'll break down what you've missed(if you don't follow their Ci-en): Main takeaway is that they're planning to use Spine in their game, which is great news, and other posts featuring CG's and character introductions such as Ideology in Fiction crew being featured in this game and other important cast characters. The Ideology in Fiction crew most likely will be after that game's story or with minor tweaks to it, and they'll be presented in a more Japanese and imperial style costumes as seen in their posts.
 
How very interesting. What did they use to animate their old sprites? Spine's a good tool to use, but they still got some rough edges in their animation skills. I still remember a couple janky animations in their last game.
 
i really like games from oneone1 there is something special what the other devs doesnt offer but i was a little upset seeing they were still using this weird old rpgmaker ace engine in ideology and in oni while all other devs are already using newer engine... and finally i see they using unity this time damn im so happy rn i cant wait nomore...
just imagine oneone1`s great char/story/fetish(?)/gametelling.....
(idk how to say that or what it even is what makes 111`s games so great lol)

but i'm pretty sure it'll be fine:p
 
The sex animations on their site are amazing and a big step up from their previous games, but something tells me there's just gonna be like 3 of them in the whole game and the rest are stilled CG images.

The reason I straight up didn't play their last few games is because of the awkward animations in combat. They were boner killers.

There's already 4 animation previews so I guess at the very least we're going to have 4. The game is likely still pretty early in development so there's plenty of time for them to make more animations. Animated h-scenes would be a huge draw for the game so I would expect them to make as many scenes animated as they can.
 
For me, there doesn't need to be animation. Just the lack of the janky combat animations.

Good animations is just icing on the cake.

I vaguely remember an earlier blog translated to a planned early 2021 or Spring 2021 release. Can't say for sure and I could be misremembering, but for sure it's not releasing this year.


New post states there there will be over 50 h-animations in the game. So animated h-scenes will be a big part of the game and not just for a select few scenes. Hopefully it's all varied and not using some trick to inflate the number.
In addition, there is 119 event H and 187 NPC H scenes planned for a total of 306. They are using this large amount of H-content to justify the game's price of 4000yen (~$40). That price is pretty ambitious for an h-game but it does sound like it will have more content than a couple of the usual RPG H-games combined.

Oneone1 has been teasing an h-scene each week for the past months (full version for paid supporters) and it looks like there's a good variety of h-content based on the previews. It's a pretty big project and I'll be waiting for its release. An English translation is also very likely since it seems like Ideology in Friction sold well on Steam.
 
Gonna love the finished product, weirdly enough a lot of OneOne1 latest RPG games have a lot of amazing porn, but I always stay for the story and characters.

I mean, if Hellsing started as a thin book, my weeb ass can always hope.
