Glad we agree on the pros, I think you mistook what I meant by immersion breaking; i'm speaking less to the mythological roots, kinks, or pull for each sub-story. I am more speaking to the overall universe/dimension melding to fit in the other game characters into what would otherwise be your usual a school-based setting, the limited character development, reductionistic backgrounds/faulty memory trope, the minimal to non-interaction between male characters or succubi, the chronic use of "kobayashi maru" hopelessness theme, the unreliable narrator/guide trope, and 2.5 dimensional succubi. Clearly you and I like the game a lot, and I think it's okay to have holes in the game, because it's great for what it is, I just don't want to oversell it when there are said immersion breaking storyline gaps, at least imo.Nah, more of a romantic. My grandma would always say you should never hit a woman but with a rose.
I was of a similar mind about the 'immersion-breaking', but I re-thought my opinion - SNStep's efforts clearly helped here.
If we exclude the Siren going "the Well" on you, all main succubi are very much consistent and in-character.
If one can remotely identify with the PCs (or the main kink) this is a very immersive game.
Restrictive? Probably. But I wouldn't call the story contrived. If anything, most females seem to thrive here - in an unsettlingly realistic/coherent way. They integrate and mesh very well in this world - despite the 'set of rules' ultimately taking over, for the uninvited guests.
