Just installed Spore on my computer. I'll be back in a few days or so, after i conquer the galaxy.

Oh, I don't think you understand. Florida is dominated by old people, no matter the city - and I don't just mean they're 70+, I mean they're 90+ and their eyesight, sense of hearing, and motor control is shot to hell... and they're still allowed to drive. Then you have the non-natives that won't know where the hell to go, because the maps don't keep up with all the road work that goes on in Florida. Finally, you have the 'young' people who go to the beach every frickin' day.
Add to all of that the fact that the roads in Florida are pretty damned narrow, even in the big cities, and traffic is going to be SO FUN >:[

You are of course forgetting the immigrant population, who decide that using the traffic laws of their homeland is appropriate.
In summation:
1) Old people with no right to be on the road
2) Out-of-towners with no idea how to get where they're going
3) The beach crowd, always in motion
4) Immigrants with no concept of "right of way".

Add to all of this super bowl parties and supply runs for these parties and you have a special kind of hell.

Goddamn the space section of Spore was such a let down. Galaxy Adventures didn't even improve upon it that much. I only bother keeping it on my laptop for when I feel like creating some ship or creature.

Not my house, but that pretty much sums it up.

It's a whole fuck-ton, too. Up just barely above my waist and there's still more snow falling.

I'm not used to having this much snow AT ALL.

My only complaint, is that this SHOULD have happened around Christmas, not the second week of February. Jebus.

Yeah, we have a shitload here too and for once, amazingly, it's not cold outside so it's basically what my roommate called god's mattress everywhere. It's perfectly fluffy but there's enough that you won't hit floor, so you can just lay down in it.

Only people that don't have snow for potentially 7+ months out of the year can be excited by snow *shakes head* No thank you. Y'all can have mine.

Of course, it's not really the snow that bothers me, it's the morons that can't drive in it and/or the ice.

When your equipment isn't set up for it, you really can't drive on either. Back in high school, where I lived there were no snow plows or the like so, if it snowed even an inch, school was canceled until it melted.

We've been having lots of snow here, too. There's supposedly like 70cm of it. Moving on the sidewalks has become somewhat troublesome, but otherwise I don't really mind. Last winter we hardly got any.

@ Chibi and Oni: Feel free to come on over, we've got plenty; unfortunately, it has stopped snowing, so what's on the ground is what's left. Still about 1/4 - 1/5 of a double-decker bus left, though.

@ Copper: I'll gladly take your snow. Ship it over in boxes with little yellow tags on 'em.

Well, like I said, the snow has finally stopped. It's still a pain, though, and my little brother got out of school for Monday. Here's hoping my monday class is canceled as well. Unfortunately, it's at 19:30, so maybe not, which will suck

That's horseshit. I live in the damn MOUNTAINS and the only thing I'm getting is really cold wind! THERE'S BLUE SKIES UP HERE AND THE SUN IS SHINING RIGHT NOW. WHY AM I NOT GETTING SNOW IN THE MOUNTAINS?

What's worse is that it's only my town not getting snow. Every other town near us are snowed in. It's like there's a hole in the snowstorm and we just happen to be under it.

So... as some of you may have heard already, I beat the odds. In a pretty major way, as well. Now, I'm not going to say anything silly about getting religion, being saved by God.. but I had a miracle. Something that shouldn't happen, hasn't happened, and was probably a complete hallucination, but happened anyway.

Long story short.. I'm back.
