ACT [八角家] ハチナ怪異譚 (RJ431925)

Is there a way to deal with the parasite? None of the medicines seem to work on it.

Having to stop every ten seconds for the entire game gets really old.
there is a medicine for it but i think u need to get it in the cave (materials)
and for the recipe, you need to get it form part of main story

I think the devs should probably tinker with that.

You see these enemies right at the start of the game, and there's such a long long time between then and actually being able to remove the parasite.

Anybody know how to let loose the counter-Ulti?
It is very similar to her normal C-skills, except this time it seems like she was interrupted but within the same phase, she continued to release her C-skill horizontally across the screen.
I'd only managed to it once by mistake and didn't realized how it happened.
Also, anyone know how to get up here?

Sorry, I didn't expect this to happen. I deleted my post about it, and I'd encourage others (@mk40, @Rat-attack) to do the same.
I'ved edited the quoted message in my post to just include what I was specifically replying to as I was just adding on about modding with patchers and such.

I wouldn't mind the parasite being so hard to remove if it wasn't so debilitating.

If it just raised pleasure every once in a while it would be fine, but not slowing me to a crawl constantly.

So, 1st game over is just MC masturbating in 1st boss room? Kinda lame honestly.

I'm gonna have to assume that the hypno chair machine enemies aren't in this demo either. I haven't fully explored everything though I did finish the cave and just wandered around randomly a little bit after that, finding the birthing plants on the cliffs a little ways afterwards.

Shame, because those were the enemies I wanted to find the most.

most of hypnosis type enemies are at stage beyond this demo so yeah. gonna wait for it

What he said. The game is split into five levels, and the stuff everyone wanted to see is in parts 3 and 4.
Some of the assets are in the game, but we just can't see them.

Indeed, I also was a bit disapointed about the first boss animation and the animations of the monsters at all, I really hope they get more animations/ progress moves the longer they caught Hachina.
But normally what you see in these demos is also the endgame content.
For example the red worms look like prison but only use this single move, but could have options for more content. But as that game isn´t finished yet we shall have patience what it looks in the end.
As far I can tell, I like the graphic, level design and story so far, hopefully the H-content may have the same quality at all.

The parasite react to movement, so if you just stand still for a bit the bar will go down.

Yeah but their annoyance is with how much time do you have to spend on an empty level just to get from one side to the other and ontop of that base amount of time have to deal with fighting and dealing with the parasite. (I think the longest level is the Cave currently) For some it's too much but my counter point is that it's still in development.....why are you expecting everything to be dealt with currently, also this was in the last demo from the Devs. (not to mention avoiding getting the parasite is easy if you just save before hand or struggle before the H animation completes)

Yeah, the issue is that it's time consuming. Stopping to wait for the meter to go down actually takes more time than just letting it fill up and mashing it out.

Not getting it in the first place is easy enough, but I feel like that kind of defeats the purpose of the game. Also a new player wouldn't know about it.

It's something that I think should be adjusted before the actual release. Either the devs should make it easier to remove by making the recipe/ingredients available earlier, or it should be less annoying to have.

One way I could think of would be to have it actually be even more debilitating, but it goes away after it procs once. That encourages you to not let it happen in the first place, but if it does, it's only a problem for a little bit.

Yep I agree....I feel though this is kinda a missed oppintunity with struggle system as what they could have done is use the resist status to result in yourself pulling out the parasite or making it go dormant for a massively longer time.

Previous game didn't (currently I haven't heard anything about this one getting it ) but it's fairly easy to do so yourself (compared to other games) if you have the time as Reipatcher and so probably BepInEx will work with it as you or someone else can look at all the text attempted to be translated there and correct the translations via it. It's even easier to do if you know Japanese and how to translate that to english.
