SIM [KISS] Custom Order Maid 3D2 + Modpack R4.10 [JAP version][VJ013971]

I'm not seeing the google drive link to actually download the modpack R4.7 on the cryptpad page, all it says is that its available in this thread on the 2nd post but clicking the big red download link sends you to the pastebin which sends you back to the cryptpad in a loop

You just assumed it's the same link without actually checking, didn't you ?

I'm definitely positive, I've checked multiple times while downloading the torrent for the main file, I even did ctrl-F for 'drive.google' on the cryptpad page to make sure I didn't miss it
Every single time I clicked the big red download button in the 2nd post I just kept getting sent to the pastebin, to the cryptpad, and then back to here from it

My initial statement still stands. Go to 2nd post and decode it. The pastebins may be similar but definitely not the same. You likely have some stupid autocomplete turned on for the decode page or you are pasting the wrong link.
Wait, what torrent?

The torrent for the vanilla repack on the 1st post
Tried it again 2 more times and this time I got sent to where I was supposed to which had all the google drive links, though I have no clue what I did differently or how I ended up getting sent to the masterguide cryptpad from decoding on the pastebin the first couple of times

I have this constantly looping during the game... it is normal?

With few known exceptions no errors are normal. Have you tried updating the game and CMI ? Though I don't remember any InOutAnim plugin updates in a long time so that's probably not the issue.
Can you remember what you did to trigger the error? Did you use InOutAnim in combination with other plugins? Does it always spam that error or it stops when you change the scene ? Does it break anything ?
Also a log would help to see if anything weird happened before this.

So I recently updated to the new modpack, I made sure to check the MD5 hash and confirmed everything was correct. I did the following in order:

> Installed the new modpack (removing the old one in the process)
> Updated the COM3D2 to v.2.29.4
> Updated CMI to v2.5.18.1 (using NoctSoul option)
> Removed [CMI] Uncensor ([CMI]XTFutaAccessories did not exist)
> Installed [CMI_Difference_Module] and [COM3D2_ENG_TRANSLATION]
> Restored my own mods and checked for duplicates
> Removed Preset folder and added the new one.

The game launched without issues and I also adjusted the translations to DeepLTranslate. I went into edit maid and checked presets. Everything was working until I loaded the "dress" preset folder. Afterwards, the game froze for about 10 minutes. I closed the game and moved the presets from the "dress" folder into the root preset folder. Once I launched the game, I was hit with a multitude of errors. I tried relaunching after deleting the entire presets folder, but still received the same errors. Any idea what I might have done wrong?

I've never seen that error before. The game has trouble loading npc maid presets and even default maid presets. Then it crashed when starting MeidoPhotoStudio.
Could be a bad preset in the preset folder (such as ones that were modified with SAE and got corrupted) or png file in the preset folder that is not an actual preset file but a misplaced sample image. All presets work on my end.
Maybe the preset folder is read only or the typical install path too long issue? I can't see the install path in that log. I need the com3d2x64_data/output_log.txt
Try loading a new save and see if the issue persists.
Not sure but maybe you are combining old stuff with new stuff. Did you use the latest CMI difference module? I don't see LimitBreak plugin being loaded and I'm not sure what happens to the game if you have presets that made use of it and you don't have it anymore. Probably not the culprit.
Maybe you are loading a save that was created using a plugin that added invalid categories. I forgot the name but I think there was a fix in CMI.
Overall you are using many plugins that I don't have but I don't see any obvious signs of plugin failure.
I would suggest asking on CM discord for further investigations if we can't figure it.
Might as well try loading the game without any plugins. Rename winhttp.dll to _winhttp.dll. This will disable plugins. You might as well rename Mod folder to BackupMod and create a new Mod folder. Try loading the same save and see what happens. If error persists you'll know it's a game issue or a broken save.

Took me a lot of testing, and everything seemed to suggest the mod folder was at fault. Turns out I had copied DLC folders into my personal mods folder. Everything worked after I deleted that. Though, I did notice a few missing things in the log file when going through the dress preset folder.

I'm glad that you figured it out. As for the warnigs, I think they are related to the initial error. These are not real categories. They were introduced with a plugin that you are missing and they are probably embeded in the save. ExtendedErrorHandling plugins tries to fix the issue for you. Hopefully they can be ignored and will be fixed next time you load the save.

The output log look fine with some exceptions. The game doesn't care about these but NPR shader plugin freaks out if there are discrepancies between pmat file name and traget material name.
These pmats should be fixed. Use pmat editor and mate editor.

You need to understand what the pmat target is supposed to be. Priority materials (pmat) target the Value2 field in a mate files.
Take the first one for example. Open the type95_glove.pmat and read the target material. From the log file it says that the target material is "95_glove_trans".
Look in the mate folder or search for mate files related to gloves from that mod. Open the mate and read Value2. It probably is "95_glove_trans" otherwise the pmat target is null.
Next you have to decide if you want to rename the pmat file to "95_glove_trans.pmat" or change the target in the pmat and Value2 in the mate to "type95_glove".
Either way the pmat name and target must be the same.

just to make sure these are the most updated links for the mod, or is there another? I'm unsure from what I read from the torrent post, it's old from the mod
Yes. R4.8 is the latest modpack. R4 torrent is very outdated but I can't delete it because there are reposts on other shady websites so I prefer to keep the original so google won't prioritize some infected crap in the search results. And now you understand why I won't make any more torrents. They are impossible to contain and remove.
Please delete that image. I don't want google bots to index links. And yea, it's ironic that they are stored on google drive.

better delete the message thanks for answering

Apologies if this has been answered before;
I am playing on the R4.8 modpack for the Japanese version of the game, and I have noticed that most (but not all) event names/descriptions/requirements are not translated on my installation. I was wondering if I may have done something wrong in my setup, or if these may be something that can not be mtl translated (images?).

Everything else seems to be translated fine thus far.

To be honest I don't know because I don't play the game. I would guess that half of them should be translated since the translation is ported from eng version.
I think that the strings responsible for events translation are in i18nEx\English\UI but these were copied directly from eng version. So I can only assume that the japanese exclussive event titles are missing from there and will be translated on the spot by XUnityAutotranslator with google translate.
As of lately the Google translate endpoint has been failing hard so I suggest you set a fallback endpoint in XUnity config
BepinEx\config\AutoTranslatorConfig.ini
[Service]
Endpoint=GoogleTranslateV2
FallbackEndpoint=DeepLTranslate

Set DeepLTranslate as fallback endpoint. It's much better than google anyway.

Oh, and you did install the [COM3D2_ENG_TRANSLATION] pack from the master guide, right?

I changed the lines in the config like you had suggested, and that worked for me. As for the translation pack, I did install that prior to my post. Looking at it again, I did notice errors from the google api endpoint, which I suppose accounts for what was untranslated.

Thanks for the suggestion. I did not see the section in the guide for adding DeepL to the config until now; must have skipped over it.

how can i share my mods for next modpack?
What do yo mean?
You can just upload them to a google drive folder or something and share the link here to make them available for everyone to use.

For a mod to make its way into the modpack it has to meet one of theese criteria
1. Must be generic enough to be used in multiple scenarios, not some weird cosplay.
2. Fits into a rare niche where there aren't many similar mods available
3. I'd rather not include too many character specific mods unless they are for popular characters. If it's not a popular character it should at least have some useable facial or body features that are fairly hard to reproduce with sliders and would look nice if used to build other presets.
4. Good quality or not needing too much work to fix them. If a mod is worth it, I will spend the extra time to make it useable in game, not just a prop for show off (adding porori/zurashi/mekure states where possible)

There's no rush for a new modpack. At this rate I will probably release a new one in October if any.
There are less and less new published mods as modders leave the CM community and switch to more popular titles. The interesting mods are always private, always locked behind a wall of some sort. It's hard to source them without insider help.
