Main fetishes: Energy drain, rape by tentacle/slime, rape by human, light ryona
Secondary fetishes: Hypnosis, yuri, futanari on female, vore, milking, breast size manipulation, electrocution…

Magical girl Haltiel is the heroine that bravely and selflessly protects the people of Sky Frost City from the regularly-appearing energy sucking monsters.
She's also a reasonable candidate for being the single fictional character most frequently depicted getting her tits and face sucked by monsters, but you know bad ends don't count, she never canonically loses.

Haltiel R2 a sequel to Haltiel R and the fourth Haltiel title — fifth if you count the next-latest, spinoff Ria and Fortu.
It's quite a departure for the series. While Haltiel R or Ria and Fortu had roughly the same amount of porn as this, they were also relatively full-fledged Rpgs, which required some exploration and had some tough bosses battles. This one, while having roughly the same amount of porn, is simplified and linear, roughly one quarter of the length, and essentially presents no challenge, even in the postgame. Your mileage may vary if that's better or worse.
As for the previous Haltiel titles, and the numerous other works by the dev, I gathered all I could in the Haltiel R thread. A thread which, for the record, is *absolutely not* intended to be a Koso Koso verse thread with a thin veneer of Haltiel R on top, that'd be against the ULMF rules, and I'd *never* skirt the rules like that.

Plot
I might be the foremost english-language expert on the Haltielverse, should I be proud?
Last we saw Haltiel, she had won against impossible odds and defeated the terrible Memorian, resurrector of monsters, and all his evil minions — including the strongest one, the reality-altering book that could grant one a god-like power. So it's all fine.
Except the book is back, and causing danger and generating monsters again. Which should be impossible, everyone is very confused.
So Haltiel — with the support of her midget sidekick, the blue-haired Lapis — once more rushes to protect the people of Sky Frost City from the energy draining monsters, by facing those monsters herself. Let's hope she doesn't get a bad ending.

That's all the plot you actually need, if you don't care for spoilers I just wanted to add for the record that it turns out it's all Ria's fault. Yes. She's just that damn stupid.
If I got it correctly, the trouble here stems from the finale of Ria and Fortu, where Ria uses the clever trick of fighting the villain in a different world, happens to pick the Haltielverse, and now she fucked up the timeline and made the book come back. The final boss is another Time Stone user, like Ria.

Gameplay
So, you've never been a magical girl before, and want to defeat the evil monsters?
As said, this game is far shorter and easier than the previous. Not my taste, ymmv.
While, as I said, it's trivial, it still has a good chunk of text, and some of the trivialities take the form of text hints explaing the boss' gimmick right before the boss, so you might not want to miss the translation. MTool works flawlessly.
You start in Haltiel's base, on top you have shop and services, on bottom warps to the various missions. There are, I think, 4-5 ultra-short missions, with 3-5 fights each, then a postgame short dungeon where you fight some variation of Memorian.
It's all very short, very linear. Most of the levels, instead of Haltiel R's pointless random battles, are only "avoid the monster" affairs — that's a good new idea. Haltiel never levels up, although she gains equipment as the game progresses (speak to the green haired girl in your base after each mission for accessories). Haltiel has her regular attack and a few of her staple spells and abilities, with some interesting variations — for example, several of her abilites power up if you accumulate more TP than needed, such as her healing spell consuming 10 TP but healing mana as well if you have at least 30 TP without extra cost.
All monsters have h-attacks which you can avoid by using by using the "guard" command when you see the tell (it's some kind of light swirl around the monster). Or just, y'know, all the time, since it lasts 3 turns, if you keep yourself buffed you'll never get caught.
Fitting for the character who had the best dungeons in Haltiel R, Lapis has probably the most interesting mechanic in the sequel. The way it works, every level has an unavoidable trap that will put Haltiel in a difficult hentai grab, and every level has a Lapis section where your midget sidekick will get rid of that for you behind the scenes, so you can humiliate the main villain.
Lapis plays slightly different from Haltiel — she's a magic specialist, unlike sword-wielding magical warrior Haltiel, and her primary offensive will be rushing the enemy with her powerful spell instead of attriting them like Haltiel does. Neither girl will have particular difficulties, game's very trivial.

The only missable in the game is a powerful accessory that rises your resistances. You get its three parts by complete all Lapis sections then talk to Lapis in the base, talk to your other loser magical girl friends who barely showed up in your base at the end of the game, and finally defeat the boss on the right in the bonus dungeon. You can then have the white haired yuki-onna assemble it for you.

Hentai
Oh, you wanted to be a magical girl specifically to get tentacled? Sorry, I misuderstood.
Gallery is to the right of the base, you can't miss it. It will be populated with every monster you defeat, seeing the defeat scene is not required.
In the gallery, you can watch the CGs for all in-battle and bad ending rape & draining, but you can also refight the monster to see them all in context.
I'm attaching a full save to the next post if you just want the gallery.

Full save attached.
Separate post, because I don't want to fuck with the attachment limit — so I can post as much gallery as possible.

Although, now that I think of it, I'm not sure it's a limit.
Eh, whatever, what's done is done.

Edit: Traditionally, I put a walkthrough in the second post of my Haltielverse threads. And traditionally I never finish it. I was intending to to the same here, before I noticed it's useless.
Leaving it here if you want to read it for a laugh, or actually need some help.
So, no initial blah blah blah. Straight to the first fight, which looks like a ballsack with lips.
Good to get the hang of combat, since Haltiel plays a little different than last time. You have skills, which cost TP, and the peculiarity is that they don't just consume it, they get stronger as your TP increases -- so, for example, your heal costs 10 TP, but if you have at least 30 when you cast it, you'll get a stronger heal that also recovers MP, your attack increasing skill
He's kind of a pushover, since his attacks do a miserable amount of damage. But he can put you in a sticky restraint -- when he does, pick the 20MP action from the new menu that appears and Haltiel will free herself as a free action -- do it for practice, because I retried just spamming attack and that was enough for this wuss.

Ok, now you get some blah blah blah. The gist is that the two Sailor Moon villains from the previous game are teaming out with you (and your sidekick Lapis) again for some reason and doing R&D -- i.e. sitting on their asses and let you go and get raped.
You can shop at the top, and most importantly go to the gallery on the right.
For now you only have one option, the yellow portal to the beach, so there we go.

The beach is actually a forest. Haltiel logic.
In another new mechanic, the useless random fights in Haltiel R or Ria & Fortu have been replaced with monster avoidance mini games -- if a monster touches you, you get raped, if you get them from behind you get a trifling amount of money. Be careful of ambushes.
Follow the arrows, get to the boss, and ignore him. First cut down the two tentacles in the arena, then stop ignoring him. He's big water bear, and also a big wuss without his buddies -- regular attack him into extinction.
New path opened, upward. Talk to Lapis to be informed about the Lapis scenarios mechanic: basically, each level you can optionally play a scenario as Lapis, and in exchange clear some problem for Haltiel. Interesting.
Become Lapis, be amazed at her traditional absolute shit HP, go hit the boss.
Boss fight are octopi, a traditional enemy of magical girls. Lapis helpfully notices they're immune to her ice magic, nice of her -- but she also has dark magic, so just keep spamming the spell with the little bat icon and everything will get minced in seconds.
Back to Haltiel.
Go through the grueling 1-screen walk to the boss, walk to it, get ambushed. By a seal embryo that seems utterly unthreatening, but do use your healing magic once you're at 30 TP so you're ready for the real boss.
Real boss being the magical girl's sworn enemy, the tentacle monster. I dunno how he would've fared without the Lapis scenario, but he turned out to be an absolute wuss, again. So normal attacks.

Back at home.
You've unlocked three more scenarios, so good job.
Be aware that the green-haired girl will give you a new accessory each time you complete a mission, and you get to choose. You get a preview before you commit, I'd pick the first choice (+1 attack, easier restraint breaking).

Biological reasearch institute
Unrelated to the one in Ria & Fortu, actually.
Go left, save the researchers by getting your panties in their faces, then end the area by clicking on the green slime.
Go right, even easier. Just avoid the enemies, go to the pink slime. Don't bother with the treasure chest, you can get it after clicking the slime and clearing the area.
Now you can fight the blue slime boss in the initial room. And he's our first actual challange! You can't just defeat it by continuing to attack, you've got to sprinkle in a "defense" every three turns (while it's active, Haltiel will dodge his very dangerous life-draining grab), and finish him quickly once he gets in hyper mode at low hp -- I suggest getting your TP to 50 before that and finishing him with the empowered Valiant Fleuré.
Into the lab itself. Get the Lapis event on the left, this boss also really gets pummeled by the clock shot spell, but use defense every three turn to avoid the grab.
Get Haltiel to the second floor, destroy the balls before the tickle ball boss to trivialize it. It does try to grab you, so the usual defense every three turns might help.
The Computer big boss doesn't have a grab, what he has is a pretty strong attack and a defense lowering debuff. Keep Haltiel over 300 HP and otherwise use attacks and the Floria spell when you're below 500. As usual, Valiant Fleuré at 50 TP does a boatload of damage.

Battle arena
I'd grab the second option orb. +500 HP is a good backup.
You don't go around this level, just fight. You can recover after the fights provided you finish them in a decent state (having high TP helps).
First fight, Electric Guy, does a move where he goes invincible for a round, then goes for a grab at the end of it. So just defend, and mince him.
You can talk to Lapis after the first fight, her event will prevent future opponents from cheating. Her boss is a slug, which happens to be weak to ice (which is unfortunate when fighting ice specialist Lapis), so Defense every three turns and otherwise spam Ice Gatling.

Normally I'd be the last one ringing the bell on such a thing but, it feels weird to actually see a direct download link for a game sold for money on this site.

Almost as if it might be against the rules or something.

I've never treated this as a yar-har site.. This is the site I go to, to browse the catalogue for games I want to yar-har.

It's kinda what makes this place special.

f95zone and the others are more of a "yellow pages phonebook" of hentai games.. You get EVERY released title that ever existed, badly categorized, badly sorted, sprawled out in full view, with all the 600+ shitty titles completely smothering the 9 or so good new titles that you might actually be looking for.

Ulmf is more like a wine tasting parlor. There's still a few truckloads of slop to pass around but they're quietly sorted to the loading bay, and you can step into the main lobby to find some actually respectible titles to look at and graze over.. And if one catches your fancy, then you head over to a different site to partake in proliferation of pornographic procurements.

I appreciate the thoughts. Although I didn't expect the thread to go this way, frankly… I thought I'd be answering questions about Lapis' breast size or something.

Before doing the thread I have played the game to completion, done my best to understand everything relevant, and carefully organize it in easily-readable chunks. Even took notes as I played to make a walkthrough — I scrapped that, this game is linear and doesn't need it. I do that, even though that significantly lowers my threads' engagement to have this much info in the OP, specifically because I care about quality.
I've included all info that I thought could be interesting, including the dev's Pixiv etc. In that, I've also included the yarr-harr download link, for completion. I'd rather people support good games, especially in cases such as these where you're sending money to a passionate Japanese developer instead of some evil corporate shareholders. But I see reasons for doing it.
  1. Pirating hentai games is an accessibility problem. Many people do because it's tricky to buy DLSite points while navigating multiple sites in Japanese, not because they want to.
  2. Not posting the link might trigger people asking for it — cluttering the thread (which is why link begging isn't allowed on ulmf — link sharing is allowed with some limits)
  3. I don't actually think I'm doing a disservice to the dev. I'd argue he (devs in general, these days) loses more sales from people that don't know about his work than from people that know it and deliberately pirate. Diffusing the game more helps, then — happened to me, actually, discovered the dev ages ago by pirating one of his galleries, I pirated Haltiel R, I bought Ria and Fortu and this.

I like the metaphor.
I'd argue that, yeah, hentai games as a hobby (as many, many other things) could benefit from some curation, because it's really frustrating to sort and to find what you're looking for.
ULMF is graced by some excellent examples, and I try to do my part.

It isn't, retards just can't read or refuse to try.

yea, sharing games was never agenst the rules, only asking for the games is, its different for someone to go "Yo check out this game, heres a link" compared to "please gimmie a link to play it." sharing here is very dependant on how generious a user is feeling in general.

That said game looks interesting. has some fetishes im not the biggest fan of but I always like trying games with erotic combat. so I may give it a shot someday.

Loli and Shota content are banned for download link sharing...

Only made the assumption because I'd never really seen it before around here.. Like ever. Then again, I only ever browse the hentai game and Under Construction sections.

We all know forum rules are like the pre-installation TOS agreement window.
Hastily scrolled through a single time, gleefully ignored, and never thought about again.

You'd have to be some poor shuck who's job it was to- Oh, sorry my bad.

Still though, game looks promising.

If you lurk. Once I started posting, I got very familiar. After, y'know, the first couple bans :ROFLMAO:. And mods patiently breaking down edge cases for me when I asked.
Rules are a little baroque, but they make sense.

For more than just link sharing (with some different rules for the OP).
But it's not loli, it's loli presenting. So, if it looks like a loli.
So we have edge cases like Mutation, where I'm pretty sure the character is intended to be an adult, but boobs being small and drawing style kind of cute, you have to treat it as a loli.

…and you know what else is an edge case? Why, this game! Which finally gets discussed, in its own thread!
See, how does Koso Koso Room, veteran of hentai with a long career (I think he's been at it for, what, 20 years?) deal with loli? How does he solve this problem, that is growing into such an issue?
Well, he… draws them smaller. Like, identical to adults, with the huge boobs and all, but smaller. Think, hobbits?

I mean, I'm not sure. Might not be meant to be lolis. But still.
Either way, we get nothing that would trigger ULMF rules. But we do get this bullshit. loli.png
