"No, you're right. There was a lake, and plenty of fish in it. I was thinking I might put up a hut a little downriver, and a wharf. Is that alright, or should I find somewhere else?"

"Sounds like you hit some of the bandit camps along your route. I managed to talk my way through them. Let me guess, you fought through most of them? Not a wise decision." Virgil says, having retrieved his medical kit "Most of these wounds don't look too severe. But, they could become severe. I have noticed that if a wound remains open long enough, it begins to blacken and cause sickness to the person themselves. I can't explain it very well. But I have seen a person die from an open wound that blackened."ching through his kit and finding what little he needs "This is going to sting a bit. Try to bear with me." he says, a small cloth in his right hand and a bottle in his left "This should prevent blackening until the wound heals." he says, pouring a small amount onto the cloth and placing it over one of Hera's open wounds, most likely causing a stinging feeling on the area "It's pure alcohol. I found, once, when I accidentally spilled some ale on a cut, it burned, but the cut healed faster than normal. After experimentation, I found it was the alcohol that helped it. As to why, I have not found yet. But you can trust me on this, I have used this method many times. Although it causes pain, it also accelerates the speed which you heal." he says, touching the cloth to another wound

"I didn't fight my way, more like they had thier way- AACH!" she yells, from the pain shooting through the leg wound he was tending. "Ow, Goddess that stings!"

Leon waved at the person coming towards him, picking up the pace so he could talk with them sooner.

"I told you it would sting." Virgil says, dabbing a bit more alcohol onto the cloth "As I said. It will sting. But it should keep you from getting the sickness." he says, touching a shoulder wound of Hera's with the cloth

After a bit of time, Yulka had set out her animals to graze nearby. She made a note to herself that she'd need a fence for them... and probably a barn. From there she had marked out a field, a modest size to just start with. Then she took a moment to think over what to do. She'd need someplace to sleep to start off with, then again the weather seemed nice and a day off of starting a field could mean a lot.

With a mental flip of a coin, she set off to gather a bit of wood. She brought a small hatchet with her. Once in the forest, Yulka chopped off some decent sized boughs, and brought them back to the field, before heading back for some more.

After a couple trips, she'd made a good sized pile. The bunny kin sat down, taking a break. She was still tired, and wanted to sleep, as well as feeling dizzy. There was still work to be done though. But... after her break.

She winces, but manages not to scream out again as she feels the alchohol seep in. "Just hope it don't have me flat-out drunk tomorrow," she added with a chuckle. "Me and alchohol don't do well."

"It shouldn't. The amount I'm using would require your whole body to be covered in major wounds. You shouldn't get too much." Virgil says, taking the cloth off and touching another wound "Those should be all of the major ones. I can't spare the alcohol, in case someone else needs it later. With all that has happened, I need to keep an eye on my supplies." he says, placing the cloth and bottle back in his kit and closing it "You may need to go to Ilphstra and get some bandages." he says, patting Hera on her right shoulder "If anything starts getting a burning feeling, find me out in the forest and tell me." he says, walking out of the chapel and noticing the newcomer out of the corner of his eye "Well well. Looks like we have a newcomer."

Toya nods and places his saw on the ground next to the unfinished log, wiping the sweat from his brow. "Right you are! And something tells me this ain't the last of um to make their way here either..." He adds in a sigh, but puts a smile on his face as he trots over to the new arrivals.

"Guess who's gonna have to build the huts- Hey there!" Tork calls out to the large Gila Kin. Stopping before him he reaches a hand out - and up - to Leon. "Welcome to Mjorna. Glad you found us. It's getting a bit full right now, but still", he says with a small grin.

"DOWN the river? Ummm, that's not such good of an idea. We have a tannery there", Wulfric says, wrinkling his nose to illustrate the point. "Maybe Tork can help you build one around here. I'd rather not have the community spread so far. . . strength in numbers and all that."

"Well, it works for me either way. I'm just glad there's a river nearby at all, or I'd be quite redundant. If I even found this place. I'd better bring my boat further up, then."
Lenwe heads off to where he left his boat.

She nods a bit at the doctor as she gets up. Sliding the cloth back over her mouth, she goes to head for the castle once again...

"Mystical woodland faeries?" Toya responds to Tork with a laugh, then greets Lenwe before he heads off to his boat, Toya returning to the unfinished job at hand and resuming to cut off the branches.

Leon reaches a hand down and grasps the hand offered to him, saying, "I'm glad to have found ya! It's been a long while since I had the company of another. So who's the one running this place?"

"It's been long for everybody that comes here", Tork replies. He turns around and searches for a moment before spotting Wulfric heading back to the chapel. "Ah. See the deertaur down there? That's Prior Wulfric. He's a bit crazy in the head, but he runs the chapel and as such pretty much the whole town."

Hera would find herself on a square as she passes through the broken city gate. The buildings are - or were, mostly - made out of brick rather than natural stone, a telltale sign of a large city. Small alleys lead along the city wall, while a broad street meanders through the city, eventually heading up the hill and into Altrist Castle.

"Well. I see he is, for the most part, uninjured." Virgil says, scrutinizing the newcomer and sighing "I really do need to find a nice comfy tree to nap in" he says, yawning and heading for the forest, his tail moving back and forth with each step

Ilphstra finally looked up from her finished weaving and smiled. "There, I have the bottom half done, now all I need is something to stuff it with. I'm so glad we have those sheep..."

Then she stretched and peered out of her doorway. "Oh! Hello there!" she waved to the Gila-kin, and then grabbed a blanket from her stores. Still smiling she scuttled out to greet him, "Here!" she said brightly showing the blanket to him, "I give every one new a blanket, please enjoy it." The smile on her face was open and sincere.

Looking at the castle and the streets around here, she sighed. Soo much death and destruction... It was hard to tell where humanity began anymore. Still, she headed to the castle. As a scholar, she was interested in the history...

Virgil waves to Toya as he heads into the forest, then jumps and grasps a tree branch with both his hands and swings from it to another tree's branch higher up, which he then grasps with his tail and hangs upside-down to think and rest
