I’ve been a member here since 2009, and I’ve been watching LM since before DG was released. I’ve always been partly open about it… I’ve told people I frequent a really strange forum… After a little time I’ve told them the url, or even showed them some part of it… The only one that really took the time to check it out and see what was going on was my best friend however, and we are as close as brothers… He even made an account and tried to integrate into the community…
But being open about the URL, and my username, and the strangeness of the forum has a price. Yesterday I was made aware that some of my best friends had figured out something that made them a little freaked out about me… I didn’t know what it was, and they wouldn’t tell me. Then, today, I managed to get it out of them… Someone had finally taken the time to research my profile and my posts on ULMF. Which in turn has led them to believe, something, I’m not entirely sure what they think actually, but I do know that they know I’ve watched tentacle stuff… I know that one of my friends is freaked out about it, I know that another friend of mine is still kinda in disbelief about the whole thing, and I have no idea how this might change the way people feel about me…
Someone even said today: “Why? You, you’re always in control of social situations… Why don't you have something to say?”
My only defense was as follows: “My defense is simple, I’ve been open about it, and I’ve always known this day would come. It isn’t something I will advertise, but I will not lie to cover it up. I don’t lie.”
All in all, it’s a learning experience, and I’m very curious about how this will all play out… Wish me luck, ‘cause this is a gamble I’d rather not loose… Loosing friends is kinda hard…
On a side note… I won the prize for sluttiest costume with my Prince Charming outfit.
And please excuse the crudeness of the text and any non-coherentness... I'm fresh from the party, and not entirely sober...
