Re: Laws of the Night OOC and Discussion

A hundred years isn't usually too much to worry about either, as far as kindred goes. Now, he could be a lot older, and maybe just has hated good old Vinnie for that long, but who knows?

As far as I know, anyone can see the mark, but only other Tremere know what it actually is. I think we houseruled it so that everyone got the feeling somebody with the mark was a traitor of some sort and shouldn't be trusted, but I'm pretty sure that isn't canon or anything. Don't much know, honestly. My hubby plays a Tremere, he says there are no Tremere traitors, typical clan response. XD 'Course, he isn't the most loyal Tremere himself, so I dunno what to tell ya, once again XD

Yep a 100 years old in oh say Vienna and you would just be reaching the age of an ancilla if you're lucky. Not to mention he could have spent 99 of those 100 years in torpor. You'll just have to find out if you want to know.

That makes a lot of sense and I would probably use that houserule if it actually came up. Though I'm not currently planning on adding a Tremere antribu, we already have a rogue Tremere running about no need to make it more confusing than it already is.

Hmm just like there's no such thing as a Lasombra antribu. Nod, nod, wink, wink.

Or the Sons of Discord, there's one that never existed in the first place *shiftyeyes*.

See now you're just being silly.

Then again my singing has been known to drive people mad on occasion, hmm.

Nor do vampires or at least that's my story and I'm sticking with it.

So, I'm curious. Did he move his heart? Or did Fletch miss?

Let's just say he's rather heartless, sort of. Er he does have a heart it's just not in his body.

Though technically speaking I'm not exactly sure if you can stake a vampire if the stake isn't wooden. One thing seems to suggest only a wooden stake (deflection of the wooden doom) while put a vampire into torpor and then White Wolf seems to contradict themselves with Viccissitude 3 - Bone Craft. I was meaning to ask Shrike and Copper about that for a while now.

Also I've been working on something for a while now that ya'll may find interesting. It's a gallery of what I picture for what I consider the most important Camarilla characters. Some of them you haven't met of course and a few are missing since I'm not really sure on them but still I thought you might be interested to see them.

Well, you may as well add there as the portrayal of Fletch - though, sadly, I only just now found out his name. His character in Supernatural influenced Fletch at least in the looks department.

Though I don't want to imply that Fletch is as important as Alexander or some of the others.

Oh I have no problem including him seeing as how I included Ronny, I just didn't include the player characters since they belong to you guy's and what you picture you're own character as could be completely different from what I picture. For example I hadn't pictured Fletch quite like Bobby Singer even though I really like the show. I think I was picturing a much larger beard than that for some reason.

Re: Laws of the Night OOC and Discussion

Fletch's beard IS bigger, true. But I can't think of an actor with the inherent truckerness of Bobby Singer that has a fuller beard... To photoshop?

Re: Laws of the Night OOC and Discussion

haha, wow. The few there that are based off the characters i stole from my fellow players look really good, Meat and Adam specifically. I'd say to throw River on there, but I think it would ruin the album, all the others being pictures of actual people. I'll see if I can dig one up of Vincent anywhere, though the Player doesn't fill out the suit as well, unfortunately.

EDIT: Oh yeah, the staking thing. I beleive only wood could do it normally, but we houseruled it to allow bone as well, i think partially because of what it says in Bonecraft there. I know it's one of Deacon's favourite tricks, a few others use it as well.

Ah well yeah finding an actor with a bigger beard could be difficult even if you have photoshop abilities. Bobby still works pretty well even with the smaller beard though, probably because of the trucker cap.

Well that's good to hear that the stolen characters, so to speak, match so well. Adam has been stuck looking exactly like that ever since I saw the movie Black Death, even better the character he plays is a veteran of the hundred years war, and Meat has looked like that ever since you mentioned she looked really punky, the Distillers being my favorite punk band. I may actually throw that one of River in there, just as soon as I get the urge to find it, since I know it's somewhere in this thread.

Check I'll probably use the same house rule than and I'm actually kind of glad I apparently wasn't the only one confused by it.

Heh. Looking at the album now with Fletch in it, I'm reminded once again how little Fletch fits the image of the typical male vampire, who's normally quite a bit more draculaish than that.

Hmmm, I may have to find a proper person picture of Claire for this gallery now.

Freaking Tremere and their rituals. I remember that one. If he is, in fact, Tremere and doesn't, say, have his heart in his foot or something like that.

Re: Laws of the Night OOC and Discussion

Look on the bright side at least Fletch won't ever have to worry about any weird vampire fans wanting to be bitten by him.

Remember kiddies if you end becoming a vampire make sure to cultivate a friendship with some weird Romanian guy, then if hunters ever show up they go after him allowing you time to escape.

I'll get Eve added in there.

If you can find one Sinful, go for it, but good luck some of those were pretty tough to come up with.

Wait there's a Tremere ritual for moving your heart, I must have missed that one somewhere in the millions of rituals they have. I just used a different method of heart moving.

Re: Laws of the Night OOC and Discussion

Well, there's a merit called "misplaced heart" which basically means your heart isn't where it's supposed to be and I thought there was a Tremere one. I know Deflection of the Wooden doom, but I thought there was one that let you move or remove it for a time. I could be mistaken. I wouldn't put it past them, though, sneaky bastards.

Oheyah, and forgot, Izzy's got a character portrait on her sheet, so if you want to snag it from there, feel free. And it's in my gallery, too.

I wouldn't put it past them either, nor would it surprise me if they had a ritual for it. The problem is more finding the ritual since they only have a bigillion of them to go along with bijillion paths.

Oh yeah you did have a picture already didn't you, forgot about that.
