Re: Super Boarding School: Rebirth Noticeboard and OOC
M-Matt's boat... You monsters!
Well since we're using his boat, I may as well make up a little description of it for you guys to fool around with.
Since the hiatus, Matt's been on a gun collecting spree, and used his boat to store all of his weapons. The cockpit at first seems unremarkable, aside from a few crates of vodka and the emergency fire ax being replaced with a shotgun. The windshield seems oddly too new for a boat as old as this, though looking to the wall opposite of it shows bullet holes riddled everywhere. Matt's been shot at more than once while he was piloting his boat.
There's a hidden compartment in the cockpit that opens a small set of stairs into a small, hollowed out storage room, where you'll find where Matt lived for those days. He brought enough non-perishable food to last him several weeks by himself (And of course, alcohol by the dozen), as well as heater, a hammock, and spare clothes. The room is lit by only one hanging light bulb, and pornography is strewn all about the floor.
But more importantly, this is where he kept his enormous collection. Inside, there're two hundred different guns in the room, ranging from pistols to heavy machine guns, to RPGs and .50 cal snipers. To keep them safe from any prying eyes, Matt hid them within the room, so unless you were actively searching for them, you probably wouldn't notice. For instance, inside his pillow case is a Colt Anaconda. Ammo can also be found scattered throughout the room.
One peculiar thing about the room, however, is the fact that Matt not only collected firearms, but there seem to be some bladed weapons as well, even though he himself has no training with them. The weapons are all in very good quality and were likely created specifically for killing, rather than for decoration.
The boat itself has none of its original military features that may have gotten him in trouble. The mounted gun, for instance, is also hidden inside his room. There're also harpoons and a harpoon gun installed to the back of the boat, though no fish seem to be present on-board. The usual emergency items, like life-jackets, lifesavers, first aid kits, are all present. Even the seating in the back seems to have been customized, as the cushions are quite comfortable and maybe even enough to nap on, provided the splashing water doesn't wake them up.
The boat's engine has also been modified to run faster than usual, flying at around 40 knots. The cockpit was also reinforced to silence the noise to just a gentle and peaceful humming noise, and the design of the boat itself has been redone to reduce the amount of rocking. Even the engine is oddly quieter than most boats. Matt's used it for stealth collecting more than once.
As for how he got his hands on this boat? Well, the guy's got connections. Plus he's nuts.
